The inner workings of the Supreme Court are mysterious and not easily understood, yet have broad social impacts and provoke widespread public debate. Depriving a person of sleep is a form and technique of torture. After a few days , the person starts hallucinating. Does that make it cruel or unusual? I knew about this in elementary school.
