I have always loved to decorate my yard for the holidays especially Halloween. I grew up helping my dad scare the kids in our neighborhood. My Husband and I love to do the same. Come and decorate with me for Halloween. We will be putting up the front yard decor and I will reveal how the spooky Halloween yard turned out.

the open flame so close to those spider webs is a disaster waiting to happen!
Facts
Battery-powered candles, in future.
We only light them on the night of Halloween, and they are much further from the webs than it looks.
Used to decorate outside but stopped after our decor was stolen
It was a bad year for the neighborhood as the gremlins had a good time. I still decorate in the house. Love Halloween.
I’m watching this because I wish it was Halloween already 👻
Same 😂
@@katherinemariv8856 aren’t we all 😅
@12:30 - I used scrap wood (2x3 and smaller) and scrap ratty old plywood to make rectangular tombstones which have a hollow center. I got some foam life-sized skulls and carefully cut out the eyes, then measured and cut eyeholes in the plywood. I made a tiny shelf or light holder in each tombstone (with an access port in back; it can be rainy or snowy here around Halloween), glued the foam skulls over each set of eyeholes in the plywood, added some decorative wooden trim to a couple of the tombstones and painted/textured them, and drilled and inserted 3/8" to 1/2" rebar (about 12 inch long pieces) into the wooden base at the sides of each tombstone. I inserted the rebar about 2 inches to 3 inches into the drilled holes (had to tap them in with a hammer, which means they're unlikely to ever come out, but I added glue just in case) and then once the glue is dry and I want to set the tombstones up, I tap the top of the tombstones lightly (using a piece of leather or fabric to protect the top of the tombstones) to drive the rebar into the ground as I'm positioning the tombstones. Again, you want to AVOID WATER LINES and sprinkler lines!
@047 forward - a spike or short piece of thick rebar could make a hole for your tiki torches without having to dig. Moisten the ground first and wear leather gloves, make sure you're not near any water lines, and using a hammer tap the rebar/spike into the ground some 6 inches or less - whatever depth you need for your tiki torches to be stable. You'll need to press the ground around the bases of your torches anyway, but at least you won't have to do all that digging.
LOVE the chain between the tiki torches!
Great job!
This was a great video

Girl you did an amazing job!! THIS is what outdoor Halloween decorations should look like!!! 🕷🎃💀
Oh you’re the sweetest!!! Thank you. We are very happy with the end result

Everything looks amazing. Very spooky. So talented! making those headstones.🎃🕷️🦇💀👻☠️
headstones are my favorite and I make new ones every year. This year I am making my daughters. :) I love using random things in the garage to upcycle and make them even more special.
Wow! This is so impressive!
Thanks! Lots of time, and not enough patience! Lol but so happy with the end result
Omg I wish you were my neighbor! This looks amazing!!
You’re too sweet!
Me encanta !!,desde Madrid ,
Feliz Halloween
@6:39 - If you have anything else that is soft and flexible that needs to be painted black, you could add it underneath as you're spraying the tombstones. Get a head start on turning cheesecloth or string black. You could also use a big piece of cardboard as your spraying surface, then cut it into a miniature haunted house, put yellow/orange paper in the cut-out windows and wire a small strand of white fairy/Christmas lights behind the facade to have it light up. That's why I save my twist-ties from the boxes of trash bags.
Also you don't need to actually break the tombstone to give the impression it's been broken, Using the same technique you used to make the writing and details on the "stone", you can outline a "crack" and put moss on it. The moss was a very clever idea of yours, by the way!
Thank you for the ideas!
I love to decorate my home! I’m glad it gave you ideas to decorate your own
That looks absolutely awesome! Well done 👏 I'm a big halloween fan!
Love the ideas! Was really hoping to see how your husband hung the skeleton from the window though.
Screws onto stucco and string!
👍
This is absolutely awesome! I love love love it
Wow this is very creative imma make a video but doing my room and then edit it tysm for the inspiration...🎃🎃🎃

It definitely did! But so much fun 💕
Looks amazing!!! Great job!
Súper nice 👍🏽 tfs
It gets pretty windy and I was trying to find ways to get things to stay in the ground more yes I heard about the PVC pipe I definitely want to do the skeleton on the building but outside of our house but I don’t know how to attach it so that idea is out lol
Very cool and unique decor! 👏🏻👏🏻 great job
Thanks so much! 😊
The final effect is great!!! Good work!
I love the decoration
Cool ideas. Impressive
I see that there’s a fire hydrant basically in your yard but, You might want to be more careful about the tiki torches being so close to the spiderwebs…not only for ur safety but ur neighbors as well given you live very close to them. Other than that…the decor was awesome 💀🎃
So good loved the decorations
🎃 Amazing decorations

Take the tags off your skull tiki torches! Lol
I must have missed some oops! Mom brain
Where do you get the awesome flame light fixture from hanging by the front door?
They are from spirit Halloween
So cool!! Love it!!👍👍
I am new too it channel
What do you guys use to hang stuff on the stucco. Oh and are you guys in Vegas?
We are in Vegas. My husband uses screws directly into the stucco and then paints them the color of the house
@@SoVeryyVeronica nice, so are we! By South Pointe. How about when you guys are done with the decorations? Does he fill the holes back in with something? Sorry for all of the questions.
@@MidwestGuyInTheDesert he actually keeps the screws in in case he wants to use them for future decor, so he doesn’t have to drill them again, when we move in the future we will do patch work (: we are way over by mount charleston
Amazing! So well done! Xoxo, Gigi
How do you get to the front door
Was the ground that dry, it was a struggle to put them poles in. Lol .. just add water
Yup! We live in Vegas the ground is 80% cclicci
Where does everyone get those checkered rugs they set underneath the doormat? I've looked in all the stores and don't even see anything similar.
You could probably find that kind of fabric online. Be sure it's a weave, poly-cotton would probably work the best as it would be washable too. Sew or have a neighbor with a sewing machine hem the edges, and you're good to go!
You can find them on Amazon!
This one is from hobby lobby
Where did you get the creepy light bulb and web from ?
Creepy light bulbs are from spirit a few years ago.
Webs we get from Amazon
Excellent
Thanks love!
People make a lot of effort on the Halloween event
Where did you got the flashing lights?
Available in craft and fabric stores, Home Depot (seasonal only), and definitely can find them online.
Goals! Love it!!!!
what is the title of the song?
where did you get the skeletons?
Skeletons are from costco, Home Depot and Lowe’s!
Good ideas but the music has to go
Thanks for the feedback!
What a spooky yard looks foolish💀👍🏻
Interesting song choices for a Halloween tutorial. 🤷🏻♂️
Haha yeah she should of used halloween music 🎃👻
What's with all the HORRENDOUS music in these diy videos??? Good ideas, HORRIBLE music
Curious what you would prefer! I use similar music so would love to know!
Well this is boring.
