Most famous person from my state is a good question. I'm from Kentucky so some options are Abraham Lincoln, Muhammed Ali, Johnny Depp, George Clooney, Loretta Lynn. I'd say Lincoln is the most famous but some might say Ali, Depp or Clooney, depending on where they're from and how much they know about the US vs just pop culture knowledge.

Benjamin Franklin!! No stinkin' way. Ole Abe is much more likely, but I'd think someone from popular culture would be likely. Michael Jackson, maybe. I even considered Elvis. He gets overlooked a bit but I think he's still recognizable. I'm probably inclined toward Elvis because my sister is a huge fan and one of the great regrets of her life is that she never got to see him live. All the kids in our family learn who Elvis is very quickly, so knowing that 2 and 3 year olds know who he is but wouldn't have a clue about Michael Jackson definitely sways me.
