Hope the big toe heals quickly mate, although after losing my temper a few years back & booting my van, mine took forever! 🤬🤣👍 Great to see yous Southern lads out enjoying the wind therapy, while I'm sitting waiting on some "RED" weather warning to kick in! 🤪🤣✌️
Thanks John... I do too, it is a pain to change gear LOL 😀 Ahh, hope you can get out soon... we have 40mph winds on the way, might have to pick up my wheelie bin LOL 😀
Nice to find a road like that. I remember riding a really good one and i've tried several times to find it again but to no avail 😀 I've binned Calimoto. It sent me the wrong way far too many times. Broken big toe is the worst pain I've known and I've broken a lot of bones 😀
Aye, we need more like it... is a shame the towns are all getting bigger, gradually swallowing them all up. Ahh that is a shame, not had it not get me to my destination, it does like to go the very long way to places though and often goes north when the destination is south etc 🙂 Hahaha... I'm glad it was dulled a bit by the beer, the next day was not fun, getting used to limping and if I support my big toe with the one next to it, it like a fleshy splint, it is just about strong enough to change up gears! 😀
Ahh there's nothing like a new set of twisties, I've actually found a couple just recently - great fun! Looked like a great ride Pete, those bloody farm roads though - even on road tyres I'd rather ride on dirt than tar with mud on it!!
Man I love those little villages, they are so cool. I often wonder if those roofs, with the moss and such growing on them, leak or if they are still sealed up somehow. I broke my big toe when I was in the army and never had it looked at and over 20 years later it still bothers me. It's not terrible but on occasion it lets me know that kicking a wall wasn't my brightest moment.
@@BigDaveTALKS me too, so old and so much history to them. Haha... if the moss on my garage roof is anything to go by, then I imagine they leak lol 😆 I really hope it heals up OK... is my gear changing toe 🤔
@@CodgerBiker ahh mate, hope you can get out soon! Haha... I've just been asked that on Instagram lol... V-Strom 800 is an amazing bike, I love mine. I also think that the Aprilia Tuareg 660 is pretty impressive too. As for better, it all really depends on what you want from it? My V-Strom 800 is the RE version, so better suited to road riding, where as my Tuareg is set up for dirt riding. If I could only have one of them and had to keep it stock, I'd have the Aprilia as it is better equipped and I love riding dirt, if I could only have one, but could modify it, I'd probably now get the Suzuki 800DE rather than 800RE as that can do the dirt stuff and would be better on tarmac over distance than the Aprilia. Thankfully I am not in that situation so can have both.
@@HippoDrones I will have to take your word for it. I don't think we have quite the sausage selection here. People usually prefer meat over sausages, and the menus are made accordingly.
@@HippoDrones Not too bad thanks, I hope all is good with you. I need to get out on the bike more, managed to bike to work last night as temps were up and the wind dried the roads out 😎
@9:00 these are the types of roads Calimoto always sticks me on when I've tried it.
@12:31 YES! thanking you 🤣
@@matthewcoleman8267 yeah it can send you on some slimy routes... but also some incredible ones 😍
Always good to get out on the bike, especially this time of the year. And it really is the beautiful south 👍👌
@@Tojj29 Ooo... not heard that band for years!
Those are some nice curvy roads 👍
it is a lovely road... can't wait to play on it in summer 🙂
That will be a lovely road in better weather.
Yup, can't wait 🙂

Lovely ride mate! My TomTom has a “plan a thrill” button which I haven’t used for a long time 🤔
Hope the isn’t too painful. Naughty cupboard 😂
Cheers mate, aye a cracking route 🙂
I'd heard the TomTom one was better than the Garmin one.
Stupid cupboard 😀

@@CaptainCrankyMotovlogger Yeah... proper slippy, and agree, dirt with road tyres is better than tarmac covered in slime on road rubber 😀

I'm pretty sure I fracture a big toe a while back when I kicked at a pallet that got in my way. My reward was several weeks of pain! 😆
It is really painful isn't it 😀 we are our own worst enemies! 😀
Enjoyed that, esp as I've not been out yet this year! 😮
Question: P-Strom or Toerag if there could be only 1?
HNY! 👍

@ Ha ha! Kinda the answer I expected. There is no ONE elusive perfect bike waiting out there, is there? 👀 Thanks for reply, I enjoy your channel! 👍👍
@ sadly not, life would be a lot cheaper if one bike really did it all 🙂
That road does have a nice flow to it. / Have you shown the bumper sticker on yt? I can't recall. / Those were some girthy sausages.
I don't think it has been seen on RUclips 🙂

@@HippoDrones you have many interesting foods there. I am starting to doubt all the people who say British food is plain or has no variety.
