Saw them on the 70000 tons, I was following them before but only really was converted into a fan after seeing them. Basically, I was asking myself if I missed something while listening to their albums before because I was sooo amazed by their live performances.
I've had similar experiences with bands. I saw Seven Spires live at an Eluveitie show and they were incredible but when I listened to the studio albums, I didn't care for them. The visual component to a show as well as physically feeling the music run through you with the energy of the people there makes music magical. It's why folk songs carry our culture and traditions. It's the sound of a people. Sometimes you just can't capture that on a recording.

Actually, there is no power in this metal haha... it's actually doom/viking, and they have some black/viking albuns. Power metal's guitars are more high pitched and usually faster.
And swedish vikings are less vikings because...? By the judge of your name you're not scandinavian, so i highly doubt that you would know anything about it.
Definitely one of the most unique bands out there. Quorthon would have been proud.

This band is from my town. Heard of them but never listened to them. I kinda dig it though, will check out the rest of their discography for sure.
