I cleared CA IPCC under old course and also cleared CA Final Group 2 under old syllabus so what SET i have to complete for appearing in nov 24 exam.???
As per my understanding you will have to complete Set A and you have a option to choose among Set C and D. Therefore, you have to complete 2 sets. Please also confirm the same on ICAI helpline number - 9997599975.
Yess bro If you have cleared any group pf CA final in previous attempts then related SET is exempt for you. For example if ypu havr cleared group 1 in nov 23 or any previous attempt then Set A is exempt for you and you need not to watch those classes. You have to only watch SET B classes. Hi Sir, kindly help!! I’m hopeful that you’ll reply. I’ve cleared ipcc 7 papers but never appeared for final exam since then though I’ve filled exam form in the old syllabus(prior to may’24). Attempting properly in nov 24 for 1st time. Am i exempt from set c and / or d?
Hi Nalinav, If you have cleared all your CA IPCC 7 papers, then you have to choose any one set among Set C and D. This is the response I have received from ICAI helpline. Further you can also confirm your query on the below mentioned helpline number 9997599975. I hope your doubt is cleared.

@@NishaShekhawat-k8y Go to your lms portal for spom, go to dashboard, scroll down, see if u have 28 chapters. If yes then set a and b are only applicable. Also, set c and set d are applicable only when you have selected those subjects while registering for final. Since you have converted from existing to new syllabus, u never had the option. And, its also stated in a recent notification that students who have been converted from exisitng/old syllabus to new are exempted from set c and d. My stance based on my research is that set c and d are not applicable to final students who got converted.

So we dont have an option to choose and we cannot. It is also specifically given that students who have converted from existing scheme to new scheme are exempt from set c and d. If you have asked icai regarding this then also them how did i choose the subjects (which form to fill and why are set c and d not available for viewing on lms portal wrt manadtory 20 hours video completion). In my opinion if in ur lms portal, set c and d are not available for viewing then they are not applicable to us. Go to dashboard, scroll down, you will find only 28 chapters for viewing. That means set c and d is not applicable. I dont think there can be any more validations than this for proving that set c and d is exempt.

Hi, You have to complete Set A and B both before writing your ca final nov 24 exams. The exams for these sets would be online only, but there is no clarity as to when exams will be conducted.
You have to complete Set A, B and a option to choose among Set C and D. In total you have to do 3 Sets in order to be eligible for writing CA Final exams.
