Interesting . I’m Clan Hamilton (grandfather Lincoln Mingus Hamilton) and my ancient DNA shows genetics from sub Sahara Africa. I know my clan came from Glasgow to Dublin to Charleston SC .

I took an ancestry test and learned I was related to this family from my moms side. I took the test a few times to see if it was false but it was consistent with this family
All I know is that they were rich and we're of high royalty but I don't know if this is the exact family, idk if there were more rich hamiltons

I am afraid you have got it wrong pall, Hamilton Palace did not sit between Chatelherault and the Mousoleum. When looking from where you were standing, the Palace stood a little to the left and a little behind the Mausoleum. Just about in the area where the golf course begins. If i am wrong then i would like someone to correct me, i am 83to and my memory is not as good as it used to be. And I was born in Hamilton.
