You're welcome! The selections are different everyday and every meal. Breakfast is maybe the same everyday. I always sleep through breakfast, so I don't really know. There's always a salad bar at lunch and dinner. I don't know if the toppings ever change.
I really love your sincere and heartfelt videos. Your videos show that you are honest and sincere. They have more power than any other video and are full of information that viewers want. Please take care of your health and continue to make great videos. Thank you so much. I am truly grateful to you!
Thanks for watching! I honestly didn’t eat anything except a bit of the late-night food. But it looked like what I’ve seen on other Carnival ships and I’ve always thought that it’s decent. :)
The selection changes every day for lunch and dinner. And there are other (also free) options elsewhere for every meal. Thanks for watching! But I’m nonetheless glad you found the video helpful!
I know! It helps when you don’t have to pay for it. I’m not suggesting that it’s okay to waste food (bc someone might accuse me of that if I don’t add a disclaimer), but if you really don’t like something, you can get something else!
Carnival is very consistent with their buffet. Mostly leans a bit 'heavier/starchier' than the Hal buffet. I'd be excited to do more Carnivals if they announced that Guys, Iguana, and Big Chicken will stay open for dinner hours.
Agreed on all accounts. Guy's is open til 6pm so we sometimes strategize our day around grabbing one right before close for dinner. Could almost do the same with Big Chicken (closes at 5pm), but have to go light on lunch and probably have something else later.
Yes I agree Carnival is consistently bad with their buffet even on their newer ships. Luckily they have many other decent options on-board and one is always overfed and happy. I truly wish Carnival fixed their buffet issue as it needs some major uplift.
@@laurenofalltrades oh sorry I mean embarkation day, like the first day of the cruise when it leaves NYC. I’m getting on the boat at 12:30 and wondering if I could each lunch on it!
The late-night buffet seems to vary by ship and by sailing. I haven't been able to crack the code. I've seen it a lot, although not always listed in the Funtimes. And then people on Facebook will insist that Carnival stopped doing late-night buffets 10 years ago. So I don't know what the real answer is. I believe the Deli is always open until at least 10pm and then assume that pizza may be the only selection after that. Sorry I can't be more helpful!
I don’t usually wake up early enough for breakfast, so I’m not sure. I don’t think it changes though except they do bacon every other day. I thought the dining room food was great! I have a video of dining room food too!
I don't recall ever seeing waffles on a Carnival buffet. But I also don't usually make it to breakfast. It's possible they alternate between waffles and pancakes.
To be honest... we didn't eat a bite of food from the buffet so I can't answer that question! BUT the reason for this is that we were only on a 4-day cruise and there is so much else to eat. From my experience on other Carnival ships, the food is actually pretty good. There's a bigger selection at lunch which means you have to stand in two lines to see all of it (at dinner there is just one selection so you should only stand in one line. The other line(s) will be for the same set of food). Since you mentioned pizza... There's also Pizzeria del Capitano that's separate from the buffet - outside on the same deck that serves fresh neopolitan-style pizza, which we prefer but other people seem to hate for some reason (here's my video of it on Horizon ruclips.net/video/0rF8eB3UJXs/видео.html)
We did have some of the late night food. I had to try the pizza, which was decent, although I definitely prefer the pizza from Pizzeria del Capitano. The chicken fingers were better than expected. I also liked the ice machines in the buffet, which had the smaller nugget ice like you find at Sonic or Chick-fil-A. They could use more of them however. -Husband
@@laurenofalltrades thanks for your response, Lauren… our very first cruise ever was on the original carnival celebration in 1993… We have seen so many changes… Some good some not so good… But we've never had a bad cruise… We have not been on any of the larger carnival ships and probably won't but every once in a while since we live in Virginia Beach, we will go on the carnival legend and we seem to enjoy that ship a lot… We also have cruised on the Carnival Magic recently out of Norfolk… Next cruise is on Celebrity in August… One thing for sure is we can always find something to eat and it's usually always pretty good… Not having to cook not having to clean not having to think about what's for dinner is gift… Thanks for a great video 🚢
Just returned from July 5-13 cruise venezia out of nyc.. overall fair..excessively crowded, and when i say crowded, i mean we walked around for over an hour on sea days looking for three chairs together. Mostly felt like part of a herd walking around- waiting in lines only to be turned away (aka comedy shows, food lines) Never even got to enjoy pool/ hot tub because of the amount of kids - which we have kids too but none even wanted to try and get in!! We used the HOT showers to cool off food was terrible all around (aside for the specialty restaurants $$$ but yummy and thankful for options) and do not cater to gluten. although when we booked they assured us they serve gluten sensitive menu. Some things were nice ( art, most staff) but negative definitely outweighed the good l. We are family size 7.. total bill 16k only bought 4 excursions and ate at restaurants twice. For reference ive sailed 4 other times never for 8 days. Im planning on sending in formal complaint but im waiting 24 hrs to meditate 🧘♀️
i don’t know why this buffet looks like this. it’s all messy and looks like a church pot luck. maybe it’s bc i’m used to royal caribbean’s buffet which is massive and very neat. i was actually surprised to see the buffet look like this. doesn’t look very sanitary or even appetizing
Thanks for showing the buffet wanted to have an idea if what they had on the Venezia will be sailing in August

Looks a lot better than I expected from the reviews. Thanks so much for sharing.

Free buffets? You can't beat that. Pretty tasty options. And i love me some Paella. AND pizza!😂 Anyways, thank you for sharing this.👍👍
Thanks for watching!
Thank you for showing all of the Lido Marketplace! 😊
Thanks for watching!
Thank you! Going in November...I'll pack some food :)

@@JohnDoe-pe6iu Just did our first Princess cruise. That was a seriously good buffet, very comparable to HAL, really good variety of choices.
Do you know if it’s open for lunch on the day of departure? Or what other options are open at that time?
Lunch isn’t served on debarkation day. Breakfast is available in the buffet, Tomodoro, and the Main Dining Room.
@@laurenofalltrades oh sorry I mean embarkation day, like the first day of the cruise when it leaves NYC. I’m getting on the boat at 12:30 and wondering if I could each lunch on it!
Sorry, yes! The buffet is open for lunch and also Tomodoro, Pizzeria del Capitano, Guys Burger Joint, and La Strada Grill.
@@laurenofalltrades Perfect! Thanks!
is the midnight food always available like everday at midnight?

Have a great cruise!
I do not see any bacon? is it still limited?
Yep. They still only have bacon every two or three days.
I only go to the Buffet for Breakfast. Does the items stay the same everyday? How was the dining room food?

I look at this and see how messy and wasteful people are! So disgusting 😢
I know! It was even more horrifying in person 😭
