I love that little sound in the background that starts at about 1.45 I listened to Bruise once and it was like instantly my favourite A23 album. Compass was good, but Bruise is on another level. And I thought VNV's Automatic was really good but Tom's jsut blown it out the water too.
Same here. I love the subtleties of unique sounds in songs that are like that little spark of magic that takes the emotional response you get from it to the next level.
Agreed...Just amazing...only two songs weren't instant likes for me...Automaton and Darkflow but I have no doubt on subsequent listens they will grow on me...
