This lesson talks about using compacted topics for entity data, yet in confluent cloud it's not permitted to set this field to "compacted". Is that a problem in production?
Hi, Afzal from Confluent here. You can set a topic to be compacted as part of the cleanup policy, under the Show advanced settings link on the create topic screen on Confluent Cloud. The values for the cleanup policy are documented at docs.confluent.io/platform/current/installation/configuration/topic-configs.html#cleanup-policy
