0:33 “security at Glastonbury is 10/10, it’s supposed to be very good”
The guard at the main entrance: “WELCOME TO GLASTONBURY!!!”
Not a guard, my guess is he works for Oxfam or another charity
I am still laughing 😂
Yes, exactly! I give him 10/10 too!
what is good even?^^
Haha, I love the disbelief after you walk in. The relief and joy felt must have been terrific
I respect this even more because it goes to show if you hide in plane sight, you can get away with so much! I hope you enjoyed the festival!
indeed 🤣 and thanks so much!
Plain*
yeah why would u support what u like :/
Safety vest, hardhat, a company lanyard with an ID of some sort, while carrying a walkie talkie or clip board or even a spool of wires. I sneak in anywhere. Went to Disney World in Orlando last October, we snuck into Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom all in the same day. and if anyone questions you "We're with Verizon, installing Beta-Line cables for the co-axial bridge." (Just nonsense words) -"Okay sir right this way"-
This is absolutely wild! Well played 🤝
Yo thanks so much 🤣
Man, loved watching this, well done
I went to Glastonbury twice in the 80s and three times in the 90s.
In 1984, when punters could drive private vehicles onto the site, I hid below a load of students' rucksacks in the back of their minibus after they'd picked me up hitch-hiking there.
One of my friends, who'd already arrived, nearly gave the game away when he saw the dog that used to live with me and started shouting out "Is Peter in there?".
Last time I went was in 1997, and it was dangerously-overcrowded, particularly in a 'pinch point' between the Pyramid and Other Stages. I can't help thinking that was 'coz of the number of folk who'd 'bunked-in'.
Anyway, I've not been since, but to smaller events (for which I've paid, btw), such as Wychwood, The Downs Festival (here in Bristol) & The Lunar Festival.
This is a perfect festival experience video, you make truly authentic content my friend keep it up
Ha! Incredible. Well done and glad you enjoyed it! It's twice as sweet when you sneak in 😉
Absolutely!! There were a few points where I had to sit back and soak it all in...super grateful for the experience
I am standing here, hand on my hip, thinking, no way. Not a chance. Truly beaming for you and have real tears in my eyes after 4 mins in. Tears of joy for you, well bloody done ! 😄🤯🥳🥳
I've been to Glastonbury maybe 10 times and this sums it up perfectly. Thanks for the good feels.
Great video dude! you absolute legend just walking straight in! brilliant!
thanks brotha I couldn't believe it myself
I spent a summer in London in 2008 with my best friends. We lived in an apartment with 7 other roommates on brick lane. We all last minute decided to go to Glastonbury…we did the wristband pass back trick because Facebook had just come out. Best 4 days I’ve ever had…coolest festival you will ever go to. I’ve sat right on those ancient stones absolutely tripping balls while people in wedding dresses walked around playing the violin…the sunrise watch party was the best. So stoked you got to experience it!
did you just print out a fake wristband?
@@gracetaylor3739 no there was a guy on Facebook that you would pay $30 quid and he would slip a wristband on over your hand and walk you in to a camping spot. Then would slip the wrist band off and you were in and he would go do it again with other people. It’s a festival of 250,000 people so it was rare you ever got called out for no wrist band
@@gracetaylor3739 no we found a guy on Facebook we paid 30 quid each and he had his own wrist band and a loose fitting one. He met us outside, slipped the wrist band on over my hand, and walked me in. Turned around and did the same for the group I was with. It’s a huge festival so we never had trouble for not having wrist bands
Getting free food from the hare krishnas and then spending £45 on a stupid hat is peak british festival culture. You've gone native.
bahaha honestly I could only justify it because I got in free 😂
Nothing stupid about the hat. A great quality souvenir that is useful and stylish.
@@MsMesem hahahahahahahahaha, nothing more beautiful than hippies scams.
Stupid hat!!? Pffttsshh looked pretty sweet to me, and practical.
Kudos to you for your bravado in just WALKING RIGHT THROUGH THE MAIN GATE! 😂 And i love that we got to see you doing it! To be fair, people do that sometimes ... it's one way. When i went the first time, before the big fence was built, just up the road from the main gate was a field with a line of people walking somewhere, so we followed them and it led to a gate, across a lane, through a hole in a hedge and that was it we were in. The 2nd time i went my band was playing there, on one of the theater stages, so we got in for free. I think my favourite thing about Glastonbury festival is just walking around the tents enjoying the vibes, meeting people and stopping for chats, smokes and drinks and cups of tea. - and going on missions to find things, get water, ect
Man, started watching you videos because of the japan series then ended up at india and saw you wemt to Glastonbury (my home town). Incredible that you snuck in so easy, and glad that you agree how incredible it is aswell. We would have been at the festival at the same time, who knows qe could have been dancing the night away at the icon stage. Love the videos bro
Incredible Sneak In! "Walk in like you own it!" ( Snarky Puppy is amazing to see!)
Really enjoyed your video, thank you.
Love how your wording changed from 'one of the' to 'the' greatest festival on Earth as the weekend went by. :)
Was a great festival, I loved every minute of it... Despite it being so busy due to sheer amount of sneak ins, haha... In the words of the great M.E (Or was it E.E this year?) 'The best one yet.'
Thank YOU!! Yes I am a full-on convert 😂Glastonbury has something for everyone.
Share it with your friends!! ❤
these videos are so genuine man amazing
No way! I'm in your video, getting a shout out from Lisa Maffia - dancing in the carnival at 16.08 😂
bruh 😂that's insane hahaha
I swear everyone that uses a Kazoo for the first time just blows straight into it and says its not working 🤣🤣
Gowan lad! Legend maneuver!
What an amazing video….big ups man
Thank u so much brudda 🙏share with your friends :)
Legendary still a year later! I talked my way in to it in 1996 using a friends on site vehicle pass….with no vehicle 😂
Man this must be one of the most epic festivals I ever seen.
Legend.
The cheeky laugh at 3.26 haha. I have the same everytime I get away with smth
Duper's delight.
Haha I love that!! I know the ‘I just walked in’ feeling but it was back in the 90’s for me 😂
Haha this is madness. respect you managed to walk in :D
Hari krishna food is the bomb
Loved everything ,
Utter greatfullness for sharing !
YOU ARE ALL THAT!!
I think I served you a beer 🤣 I work at Glastonbury every year and it’s surprisingly easy for people to find ways in 🤣 I love your videos!!!
Well done man!
Hahaha that was brilliant mate, love it
Cheers man 🤝for the culture
It’s a great video man, you really got into the Glasto vibes. Come back and do it again!
Just might have to :)
I loved this video!
👏 👏 first class my friend 👍 cheers from Ireland 🍻
I used to go in the 80s. Fuck me, it's changed. Your video has made me want to go again. Brilliant. Thank you.
My son once took a grappling hook with him and I sneaked in in the eighties in a van,I didn't even have an overnight bag or clothes just what I was wearing. I also tried to sneak in in the nineties but I just paid £10 to a guy holding the fence open. We'll bloody done.
Another triumph bro!! Did you ever get shown how to use that kazoo? Humming power!!
Twice been there 97 & 2008 both times never paid for the tickets… in 2008, went there alone… planning to do Woodstock… planning a driving trip with my jamming mates…
f*ckin' epic dude! Love the content Connor!
Excellent film!
The kazoo struggle was my favorite part
I've jumped the fence 87,94,95,97,98,99,00,02,09,11 and 2014.
Seen it done it and earned my Tshirt 100 times over.
They ought to send you to jail
@@55tumbler I'd only jump the fence and escape....
half expecting him to yell out I JUST SNUCK IN TO GLASTONBURY 😅
I love all of your videos, but this is one of my favorites.
broo !!! that was so good i could'teven believe you got in like that 😂
Absolute legend!
I'm so jealous, Glastonbury is my favorite place on earth and I haven't been able to get tickets for years. Including this up and coming festival. If I don't get tickets for next year I think I'm going to have to go down this route. It looks like a real adventure, certainly would put another spin on the festival. Great video man excellent work documenting it 😀
Thanks brother - yea man give it a shot, if you show up early you could tag along with someone trying to sneak in lol.
@@SmallBrainedAmerican good plan 😎
Attempting tomorrow, solo! Super anxious but let’s see how it goes haha big up!
@@spudkeeling6733 good luck buddy😎
@@spudkeeling6733 how'd it go?
Legend! I'm 32, never missed a year so must have been like 25 times, never bought a ticket. Always worked it or broken in/turned up early and rode it out! Big respect to the people that buy tickets, it wouldn't happen if they didn't, but there's a select bunch that enjoy it by other means and still bring the love and that's what it's about :)
Teach me how bro
Mate..I need to contact u to ask u how I can do this please...
@@truthoverlies1820 yo bro you rolling this year 😂🤣 get at me
@@shanaman1dmd I'm 36 bro..I'm not quite down with the youth lingo anymore..are u asking if I'm planning on going this year? Also how do I contact you? You on messenger? Facebook?
I need a way to get in.. no tickets again
This is epic. I’ve only been twice and both times I broke in. First time in 2001 and last year with my 10 year old daughter. Got lots of cool mom points there. All about the Hare Krishna tent!
That’s incredible- the sneak in culture is amazing. How did you get in last year?
@@SmallBrainedAmerican we blagged a spin in 🥳.
@@wildandwhimsywhat does that mean
prob got a lift in @@texastalent3300
I watched this video on the Friday morning of Glastonbury 2023 and it inspired me to sneak in myself. Going in the front door is absolutely NOT as easy as Connor makes it look here, I tried the same thing twice at two seperate gates and got laughed at and turned around. However, with a bit of tenacity, a few tall fences climbed, several hours crawling through dense scrub & some blind luck at a poorly staffed gate at the far back of the festival site - I eventually made it in. The uncertainty, adrenaline and excitement if it all was incredible. Best decision ever & thanks Connor for the inspo!
Is that a true story?
Ur the champ, good attitude.
Thanks homie 🤝
Love this
You actually just walked in.. The look on your face 😂😂😂
Fair play. Always the best ones .
Can't believe you just walked through lol 😆
THE AVALANCHES MY GUY, BEEN MEANING TO SEE THEM LIVE
Nice one bro, i live in england but never been to stonehenge.
I did the exact same thing like 15 years ago in my hometown Montreal. There is a festival call Osheaga where Iggy and the stooges we're playing and i wanted to see them so bad but was broke at that time. I spotted the emergency exit that was guarded by a single person and waited for him to go away and sneaked in. One of my best show ever!
The ancient stones have been there since 1992:) Great sneak in off to try that same technique.
Thanks for coming along! Share with your friends!! :)
Luca modric on a mad ting @ Glastonbury I love it
😂😂
that hat is so sick dude, a steal at 45 and suits you perfectly
3:25 that little chuckle amongst all the stress had me lol
Loved this and your attitude :)
Thanks so much brother!!
Its easy to walk in to fests here in the US , the hard part is actually getting into the venue areas where the music takesmplace/vending etc. They dint care to much if someone gets in to the campground for free, its the music artists and getting into the venue area for free is what they try to mitigate
Fantastic. Kudos too you
04:33 That's my little inflatable tent against the perimeter fence just above your left shoulder
Yes man!!. In true spirit of the event!!!. As a bit of a Glasto veteran, wish we’d of bumped into you brother. Maybe next year eh?.
baha love the support man!sneak in culture is so strong ✊ if im in the uk ill be there brother!
You about for Glasto this year brother?😎
Am heading down tomorrow solo if there’s any sneak in tips/groups
@@spudkeeling6733did you find a way in?
Damn man, ive always wanted to hit up this festival. Love it
You got to see the avalanches thats dope!
Did you buy your camping gear on site?
If so I know Glasto is a diverse festy but I didnt know they'd accepted $$ as currency 😆
Sneaking into glasto what a legend
I've been 7 times, the first time was 1984 and my ticket cost £14 which I never used to get in, I have never bought a ticket since and have gotten in by hiding in the back of a van, lying on the floor in the back of a car with a blanket over me, over the fence a few times. Well done to you Sir, I have never tried the blatent in your face walk through the ticket collection point, maybe next year, lol
under the fence one year
9:41 absolutely beautiful powerlines :D
Amazing! Did they think you were press? 📸
Here's a question, I've just watched this after watching another sneak in video.
Did you buy your camping gear inside the festival or did you have it with you on entry? And then when leaving, did you pack it up and take it with you or pack it up and donate it or did you just leave it as is?
The Avalanches! Nice!
This was great
Lovely to meet you at glasto! Hilarious to see how easy it was 😂
Likewise!!! Thanks for letting me join your tribe haha
So are you sneaking in with me next year? 😂
The cat that got the cream look.
You're supposed to hum through a kazoo... blowing doesn't do anything. I remember the Hari Krishnas at Glastonbury, ... my mate Mike was playing his trumpet in the back of our big van, and the H. Krishnas all came along the way with their instruments, singing, so Mike started playing along to their tune but with a jazz vibe which caused all of them ... like 80 or so people to all crowd around the back of the van to play along with Mike and they're all just looking at us like a bunch of blissed out space cadets, happily playing their music, it was a funny moment.
The only guy i know who can sneek into all sorts across the world. I dont know bout glasto, there's tons a ppl who try to blagg it an you just bowl through, callin Boĺlox on that 1 man.
There's 3 security points he completely missed out of the video, only shows the final entry where they don't check wrist bands and hand you a line up lanyard. Calling bs on this also
You can actually see he's wearing a wristband when he points at the parade!
Glad I stumbled on your video!
I haven't been to Glastonbury, which is Europes biggest, but attended perhaps 30 festivals in my home country Denmark. Saw Rolling Stones and Stevie Wonder on my birthday on Roskilde Festival, which is like a "mini" Glastonbury with 120,000 ppl, of which 30,000 are volunteers. All extra income from the festival goes to good causes. Win/win!
14:30 she defo mugged you off 😂
Nice job 👍
Thanks homie 🙂
your boy just walked in! 🤣
🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻
lmaoooo sneaking in everywhere like its a movie
Can’t believe you just walked right in bro 😎 If you find a little Stream then follow it and it goes right thro Glastonbury??.
15:00 Yeah, you sounded like it was the last day of Glasto! 🤣
Awesome 💯 bro
This is nuts hahaa I didn't get the tickets for next year and it's first time since 2017 I didn't get any. I'm extremely tempted to try this as all my friends managed to get tickets
You could try this or one of the other many ways to sneak 😂it’s honestly fun scheming diff ways to get in 🤣
First off. Did you get tickets for 2023?. Or are you planning on a similar type mission?. And Scott who commented, I got tickets. If you want me to try for you on the resale, I’d be happy to try. However, if you were going to break in. I have a plan. And I’d like to help. It would definitely work…..
P.S…..I forgot how f*cling epic that entry was. What a lad.😎
@@mikemackay994 definitely is a very strong word haha
You have a plan you say?... 👀
What gate was this?
Unlikely knowing how tight security is .. but entertaining
It's the biggest Music Festival in the World 😊
Do you ever get the feeling that most people in the world just want to party?
Insane, been 3 times and nowhere in a million years I could have done that in the queues I was at, they scrutinised my ticket like it was counterfeit money. Two people checked my ticket in a couple of those queues.
Had a funny one a few years back me and my sister turned up to sneak in. Ended up getting picked up by police cos we were down a vehicle route we shouldn't have been walking down. Thought they were kicking us out, sitting it in the back of the police land-rover sitting ourselves thinking were getting driven off site, my sister says we need to get to gate c to meet our mum with tickets and she has baby in pushchair, still thinking we're being escorted out. Turned out they were driving us right in! Got the the inside of pedestrian gate c or whatever it was and they were like OK here we are, see you later guys! We get out, look at each other, Booooom! 😜 Such a buzz x
I love you Connor keep being YOU
For real, dude, you actually snuck in? I actually went to Glastonbury and they checked everybody’s ticket at the entrance. Tickets at the time was around 400 bucks, so it ain’t cheap.
He who dares Rodney! He who dares my son! Cool video 😎👍
