- The premier is calling on the house speaker to reverse a ban on keffiyeh scarves in the legislature. But as Tina Yazdani reports, a motion to overturn the ban failed to pass after one of the premier's own PC members voted against it.

Give it time as latest news is, come this Fall the Federal Liberal Gov't plans to introduce 'halal mortgages' to assist access to home ownership in the housing market for said group. In other words a 'change in current tax treatment/laws' to accommodate shar*ah law. (Look it up!)
