Beautiful end product, but does one need to throw it onto a high traffic freeway for a couple of weeks, so it can get broken in, and a nice worn patina? I have a Consew sewing machine. With the original clutch motor, it was, for me incontrollable. So replaced the motor with a digital DC motor, and it will sew as slowly as I want.
Two handles on punching machine insures your hand isn't under it. Same thing on giant metal presses they had to make body panels for cars. You had to place both hands behind you to press two levers to get the giant press to stamp out the body panel
This was really cool to see. My husband does upholstery and would like to work with leather more. It was very cool to see what goes into making a sporran!

We have a "colombian sporran" in Colombia, we called it "Carriel" from "Carry", it's more bigger. Scotland influence in Colombia. :D

What about the waistband and how does that attach to the sporran?
normally there is a chain that links through to attach, although we made our own as we wanted something that was easily adjustable for running.
