everyone, let’s share our reasons why we love billie. i’ll start;
i love billie because she’s so real, and she lets me know that even when you “have it all” you can still be sad, and there’s still problems, and sometimes those problems are worse than they would’ve been when you weren’t famous. and she inspires me, cause my whole life i’ve loved singing and writing music but i always thought that i was just too young to go anywhere with it, and she’s showed me that i can do whatever the hell i want whenever the hell i want.
I love Billie, because she and her music helped me get through dark and tough times 💛

The way that she is so open about what not only each song is about overall but almost every lyric is so inspiring. I write music all the time and I study other musicians like crazy and I feel connected in her process of thought and when I understand the meaning of the lyrics I tend to appreciate a song even more and that's a note I hope to carry with me for a long time

So this was actually really interesting because I’ve been perceiving this completely differently! I thought it was about wanting them to be gay so they could be together and the person wad straight, but now I realize it’s not originally what I thought. But I thought over it and realize that it could really work both ways.
It could be the original way OR it could be where she says “I just kinda wish you were gay,” pause and then say “to spare my pride,” as a separate thought. Where she is gay and wishes the other person would just say they are gay.
I hope you guys know what I mean, but I think it’s cool that this can be perceived differently even if I may be completely different wrong.
