They really did a good job with it. It looks great. I wish I had a chance to try the more comfortable seat. When I wrote it, they told me there was a seat upgrade on all of the new models.
Every time I went around the track, I asked the security guard if anybody fell in yet, and he always said no. I’m sure somebody did over the long weekend.
That’s nice! They made it look amazing, give it a huge battery, and mid drive, and it has plenty of power and type in speed. I think the Ristretto 512 Ebike will be a winner.
I'm intrigued and interested. Besides the seat that without your input, any sighted person can instantly see is totally deficient of even minimal comfort, the other major flaw is this. Do you know much about bicycles? Well, just watching your knees, (because there was no video to show what I'm about to explain) there is no seat adjustment to make the seat to pedal stroke correct. Bicycles come in varying frame lengths, coupled with an adjustable seat height for the purpose of getting maximum from your leg muscle/strength/efficiency by adjusting the seat to the proper stroke. IE: when correctly set, (on ANY bike) when the pedal is at the extreme bottom of the stroke, your knee will have just a slight angle remaining in it. Not a straight leg, but close. Hence, your knees would never be visible at the top of the pedal stroke as they are in this video. This is a totally major flaw to efficient and comfortable operation. You're all welcome.
You are correct. A lot of these motorcycle style E bikes have seats that are too low for efficient pedaling, and you can’t adjust them. I think the manufacturers assume nobody will want to pedal anyway. Some bikes like the rad runner have an adjustable seat height so you can get optimum leg angle to pedal if you want to.
The torque felt really good. It took off quickly from a stop. At one point in the video I stop it and give it full throttle so you can see how it accelerates. I probably got close to 30 miles an hour, but it wasn’t completely unlocked, so I couldn’t try to get it to 40 miles an hour, and there was a lot of traffic at the show.
They say they’re adding another inch of padding to the seat. I don’t know if that’s enough. I’m sure they’ll come out with a big fat aftermarket seat sometime soon.
Seat is easy to do what you want to and add something better but you can't look at the entire bike based on the seat, the power of this cyc is better than anything else out there. We will see people customize their bikes and this one is worth it and always fun to do.
That’s a good question. I think they said they were putting 1.8 inches more of padding into it, which means it would still be pretty small. I would’ve liked to try it out in person.
@@hoohoohoblin i agree its a lot of money to pay out if the seat is a let down :( personally i would of preferred a proper bike seat ,or at least more like a real motorbike seat which has mega thick padding ! The best stock e-bike seat i have tried is a Cyrusher Ranger ,which is a super comfy seat :)
Really like the idea of this e-bike. Love that it does not use the motorcycle style light that so many use. I got to much attention on my ebike (negative) from my motorcycle style light that i took it off. Light here looks great. Really like the handle bars. Bmx look. Looks really good while keeping it looking like it is an e-bike and not a mini motorcycle. Seat looks terribly uncomfortable and super thin. In video mentions a change coming up for that. Only 750watts in sport mode? Seems low to reach max 4500watts. 2 negatives for me. Site mentioned 203mm rotor in front but only 180mm in the rear. Braking is so important. Reaching up to 40 mph really needs both rotors at minimum 200 mm. 2nd is the price of there 52v 30ah battery at $1100. Really expensive for 52v. At this price point the battery pack should be minimum 60v. A really good plus is the torquey mid drive motor. So a hit and a miss for me. Would i rather have this then the e-scooter i bought a year ago? Yes . But would be a big hit on the battery as my scooter has a 72v 40ah battery pack. Paid $4100. Out of money now so no buying anything.
These prototypes look great but I've read some disturbing reviews of the company. Customers paying full price and receiving nothing instead being put off. Have any of these bikes been delivered to any customers in North America yet? March 10 2024
This is true. I paid for mine in October 2023 and haven’t received anything yet. Lie after lie about the delivery date. I think I may have been scammed. I could never recommend anyone doing business with this company.
I expect they will do that. Most of these companies can make a lot of extra money on accessories that they sell when people initially buy the bike. I’m sure they’re working on it. I bet the people at Radrunner make an extra 20 or 30% on every bike they sell because they offer baskets and seats and footpegs.
@@hoohoohoblin Absolutely! They also need more videos on their bike in action doing trails on and off road, distance testing. Very little attention is given and I don't know why.
I haven't seen an electric bike that will stand up to rain or moisture yet. So until they start bragging about how their bikes are waterproof, forget it, they're junk waiting to happen.
Many of them do and I ride mine through knee deep puddles at times. I'm in Miami and my modified Zugo still works. Idk where you get that they can't handle water or moisture when that's false
@@beausbargarage6213 I mean if that’s all you care about lol. I only do street riding and this looks MUCH better. Not to mention it seems to have higher quality build but we will see. The grizzly can not get up to 40mph on average either I used to own one.
Seat looks like nothing more than an upholstered 2 x 4. How can you not know that the first time around? Thumb throttle which is too far of a reach for smaller hands and not allowing for a proper safe grip on the handlebars. Fail.
Apple AirTag anti-theft slot! That’s also compatible with android tracking devices. There is 1 in the battery and one on the bike itself so you can track it
I really like it. It’s motorcycle style, and it has a lot of power, and the mid drive motor means you can adjust the gearing for more torque or more high speed. If I got one, I’d probably get the one with the bigger wheels. The price will be the only question. If you have a motorcycle license, you can get a faster motorcycle for a similar price.
@hoohoohoblin, we’re you able to try both 20” & 24” models? I think you demoed a REVV1, which did you think is better value between price and performance?
Whoever did the design on this bike, is a boss. They should get an industrial art award. If Steve McQueen had an electric bike, this would be it.

Thanks! These are great bikes. I hope you’re selling a ton of them.
would I still be able to get the 20% discount now and can you confirm the seat will be more comfortable? =)
@NickBurnam, same question as @kingownz, is there a 20% off and the new comfortable seat is all I’m waiting for to pull the trigger! Thanks!
@NickBurnam hook up that 20%!
whose idea was it to put cones down near a body of water? like that's gonna stop someone from crashing into that pool hahaha
