As people who have committed felonies it's not always easy to get a job. We may get offers but once the background check comes through the offer is rescinded.
Or we may not get offers at all. Once that box is checked on the application it's automatically a rejection.
That's a hard pill to swallow for someone who is trying to get their life back on track.
Not being able to find a job is also one of the leading causes of recidivism.
