    I lost my dad when I was really young. When Leila said “I think people are so much more resourceful than you think,” I experienced sadness and gratefulness at the same time.
    I’m thankful for who I got to become because of my circumstances, I’m sad because of how it had to happen. It’s both beautiful and tragic.

    42:47 - Woman in her 20s and starting her business weighing in 👋
    It is incredibly refreshing to see someone like Leila share her story. From the jump you can tell that she is a no BS person with her approach to (no) labels.
    I feel a connection to her through shared characteristics- loyal to a fault, into fitness, steadfast through struggles. She is goals all around, and I would love to work with her one day.
    This conversation was enlightening and inspiring. Thank you for sharing your platform with her Chris!

    My soul broke when I heard that she answered like this 😭☹😭: "I will do what is right by a person ( my children )/I will not baby them".
    We, the parents, are so afraid that this big and bad world we live in will destroy our children that we consciously decide NOT TO OFFER THEM OUR LOVE out of the desire to prepare them for the hardships of life.
    🥰Love, affection, kissing when he cries, hugging when he falls... I think they are some SUPERPOWERS that the adult will use at the right time. This is what I did. You can deal very well with toxic people/situations as an adult if you know the true love received from your parents. It is something stronger than DNA .

    • @thefutur
      @thefutur  8 месяцев назад +1

      Everyone gets to raise kids the way they want. I don’t want undisciplined soft children who aren’t grateful. That requires way of raising them.

    • @ESTIDESTEPT10
      @ESTIDESTEPT10 8 месяцев назад

      @@thefutur Yes , everyone gets to raise kids the way they want. I'm not criticizing that. I was just saying that we seem to do it - this tough love - for fear of not... (what you mentioned : soft children /ungrateful/..), not that it comes naturally to us.
      If you allow me, with your permission, I will tell you something that supports my idea. So I have a 7-year-old boy. I label him (as I was talking about the labels) as a weak/soft boy. Last year he started school and I was very afraid that he would be beaten by other classmates. What has happened since the first week. Beaten by the class prankster who told him "your mother is ugly". What did he do ? He defended himself. I wasn't there. All alone. With such force that the teacher thought he was the culprit. My angel without any self defence tactics.. without anything... he defended himself.

    story about going for so many days without knowing where her mother was, that is shamefully very unfair for a young or old family member to have to be in a constant state of unknowing Of a parent or spouse for that matter. I definitely like feel that way too. Big ups for being opened about what has made you the person that you are today. Great work!

    So skillful interviewing, I like the parts where you just skip to the next part without making small talk about the last topic. You got the answer, time is ticking, you make the most of it!

    I have nothing to mention about the interview and how motivating it is, but it's just me who mentioned the tone how she's talking.. is this a new trend !?, like Chris he has a nice calm tone and better way of communication but listening to her, its like listening to tate or Cody or many others from the Motivated cercle speaking with out loud and the same sharp tone like robots !🤖

    After Chris famously “missed his chance” because he chose to be professional and prepare for a speech rather than chat to Alex- it’s great to see him “get a chance” to speak with the Hormozi inner circle.
    Chris and the Hormozi’s teach some much value and are invaluable for beginners and experience people alike.
    I wish I’d discovered them before our daughter was born and I had more time
    To implement what I’ve learned from them.

      Thomas. You know, being asked to interview someone on the spot without having read their book, do some background research, listen to their interviews, and then do it right before you’re about to give a talk to another commitment would be considered dumb.
      Jo Koy agree to hosts the golden globes on 10 days notice. It didn’t work out so well for him.

      @@thefutur exactly! I was with him when I first heard how it all transpired. His professionalism in that moment and his commitment to those he was to speak to, is an example for all!
      As for the Golden Globes - only now do they realise the value of Ricky Gervais, and giving someone time to prepare!

    This was a great conversation, however I was expecting more tips on “mastering a business” I made it to 45 minutes and heard a Lot of background story, which is essential, but it’s also nothing she hasn’t said in other videos, I’ve learned more about her personal life rather than business.
