I'm really curious too! Coming from the S22U, the S23U with the Gen 2 gave me really amazing battery life. Not to say that the Gen 1 with the 11,000 mAh battery life is lacking (I own the S8 Ultra), but if the new processor can give me 2-3 hours more battery life I'll be very happy.

The OnePlus tab was nice and cheaper but the mediatek SOC killed it for me. Been using snapdragon since the 855 one and currently using a 888 phone. It never lagged or anything for me. So I went with the Samsung. The last Samsung device I used was almost 10 years ago with the galaxy S5. Let's see what has changed since then
It's not premium as long as its shipped only with cable. Premium products have lots of additional stuff, like charger, cover, keyboard etc, which differentiates them from ordinary, plain products. This is just an plain tablet sold at premium price. Usual Samsung tactics.

@@TSKewl what's picky in judging an unnecessary decision? It seems the only reason they made a notch is to fit a bigger screen into smaller device. They could've made the bezels the same width as smaller tablets and the device would be symmetrical. Currently if you want to use an Ultra tablet in portrait orientation, you end up with an ugly, out-of-place notch on one of the sides.

I have my S7 plus. It has its own wireless connection with T-Mobile and is still in mint condition. When the S9 plus can have its own cellular connection ill think about upgrading.
I would would buy a Tab S9 mini right now if you made one. I'm currently loving the iPad Mini 6, but I much prefer Andriod software and the aspect ratio of Samsung tablets over Apple.

why do samsung use PWM on their OLED tablets? It causes headaches, eye strain etc... Are the new s9 tablets using PWM again or has samsung found a solution to this flickering of PWM on oled screen to adjust the brightness? Are you going to reply or ignore again...,
Dynamic AMOLED 2x is a big deal and also spen in the box is huge deal and if the microsd card still on the tab is is premium deal but bad thing the charger box is not inside the box😞
Apple's latest iPad Pro with M2 chip tablet even has 20w charge brick but Samsung's new tablets doesn't has. I can understand why companies don't want to add charge brick into the box but the tablets are really different market so generally people buy for tablet not personal usage. Samsung's market share for tablets will decrase even more! Everyone will see
You can charge it with ANY charger you already have. I have one charger at home and charge two tablets, two phones, two sets of buds and a bluetooth speaker. No one needs more chargers.

I'm really curious too! Coming from the S22U, the S23U with the Gen 2 gave me really amazing battery life.

The only upside of S9 is double the amount of RAM. The chip is also kind of better, but I still don't think it's worth it to upgrade from S7

Removing the second camera from S9 is a turn off. We want a good OLED screen and some better camera at size. S9+ is too big for some people 😢.
