As a POE newbie (2 months) I love the explaining of the setup ... Gems and the link between items and their stats.
Big streamer that claim to help with builds just give basic info that might be OK if you play the game 2 years+ but for a newbie like me it just sounds like Harry Potter doing some fancy magic tricks ;)

Having a video makes this Berserker so much easier then the Scion Poet's Pen Juggernaught version imo (but being hit, not for clearing maps)
I am not sure how well this will work in hardcore and with a laggy internet, but I will try it and find out. Either way this video was alot of fun to watch.

Yeah! I am far from optimal on gear and I am really wondering how far I can go with what I have (the cheaper uniques and a 5l belly with 1 off color). T8 a breeze so far... hoping for higher map drops! I just hate when a rare map rolls with resist to elemental status effect :-(

Update: Level 89 now and I found out you only need 1x Essence of Hysteria on your Scepter, which was enough for me. That can help you saved 30+ Chaos. This is a very fun build indeed. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for this great build! Leveling was a mess (I should just have taken earthquake or so, I don't like Warchief Totem somehow :D), but I started to fall in love when I hit 68. Running T7+ Maps with ease atm, farming some currency to run higher tiers. Wanted to check out the last season's build, but this looks so much better! :D (Am so stoked testing VMS when I got my Rat Cage :)

grinding in merciless finally got to lvl68 and went into my first map... a teir 7 map to see what would happen, long story short... I lived and they died all the while all I did was walk around. Nice build.

I'm playing this build since breach started. it's a blast to play but hard to get going from the start of the league. The first 3 eye of innocence amulets only appeared at the 5th day at a price of 2-5 ex. Let's hope it stays like this for the next league, but if the word goes out like it already is GGG will nerf it or the prices will sky rocket. Btw I face tanked abaxoth on a tier 16 yesterday.
good vid however blur effect when you introduce item and keynode hurting my eyes :(
Thank you for mentioning this! This was a one of my big considerations during the editing process, the reason I decided to go for the blur effect was so that viewers would not lose focus from what we're talking about and that it's still possible to notice clear speed as well as time for boss kills, which is the only real purpose the clips serve. While I realize that the blur effect can be hurtful to watch all I can really say is that it's kind off the point. The clips are only there to serve as background footage, they are not in any way necessary to watch from beginning to end or necessarily connected to anything we say in the video. I cannot be certain but if I had decided to remove the blur it most likely would have made the clips to distracting from the main content of the video, which I believe would have been far more detrimental.
I didnt want to judge your decision but I would recommend to change from half screen item half screen blur effect to cover entire screen with item as LiftingNerd Gaming did in his video
Just my opinion, I believe the least intention of your video is to hurt viewer eyes lol

While you have a point, there's hardly a reason for having backgorund footage if you can't watch it. Imo, you should keep it normal, as many of us viewers know how the mantioned gems look like. Otherwise great vid and a great build :D
If you're going to blur out the background video I would recommend it not take up the majority of the screen. You did a good job of drawing attention to the items while you were talking about them -- no need to force the focus to stay there the whole time. Maybe people want to take a quick glance and see the active buffs, exact life numbers, flask setup, etc. It's always best to leave people in control of their viewing experience. Otherwise good video though. It looks like an interesting build.

just use rats cage instead of using any other armor (it makes skill proc a lot faster)
make it 5+ socket and at least 4 link those with vaal moten armor + 2 vaal cyclone + increase duration for locking anything trying to run away from you
last socket can be either moving skill and clairity and don't forget to put 1 point in MoM
now you can tank pretty much everything except degens
1 setup in video other 1 in forum ..nice!. and i did make this build..80% exactly and i get 1 shot in t10 map so thx again for the waste of my curency..
i have all the items..but i use HH and a atziri armour6l...and i dont have the jewelers...

I just hit 68 today, got eye of innocence, got razor, was ready to buy essence of hysteria.... aaand it went up to 30c a pop. Goddamnit. Gotta farm an extra 30c / hope to get one on my other char while farming. Yaaaay.

I was playing this exact build just with the new bow xoph's nurture that gives 60 life on ignite (full fire conversion bv while charging vms) and the abberath's hooves (se you can even just charge vms and go walk with a permanent vms) Turned out the proccs on the vms are too many and fps go down to 1 or kicks me out when density happens XD
Question time: have you tried breach bosses? Tried Tul yesterday... I'm not even close to possible life cap (arround 5.2k using tabula as my 5l belly don't have the right sockets and I'm thinking on using it on a BF sin), so I got hk all times I tried him. Clearing the map was piece of cake, but tul itself... impossible.
Ouch eye of innocence is 3ex currently in Legacy SC And no one selling the unique wep atm in legacy either! Looks like a lot of fun though, will keep eyeing out the items and see how availability / affordability is as league progresses.
back with more questions! what are your thoughts on doryani's belt? high fire damage, resist, etc etc. just no life
I wouldn't recommend it firsthand as you lose a large portion of life that you could have on a leather belt with double life mods + strength. If you can compensate on the rest of your gear, you might pull it off, but is it really worth it for 20-30 inc. fire dmg? - you have to ask yourself.
HC Viable? YES i want to AFK in HC!
There are some differences between the forum post and the RUclips video. For example the sceptre gems. Can you explain what to use?
and what is better/faster kaom's heart or belly?
Follow the instructions from the video guide as it is the most updated. Belly of the Beast is recommended for this build.
At what level does this build become viable to switch into? I checked the forum post, which recommended leveling with AW until 68. Is that when we switch? Or is it sooner?
why cut your damage by half with avatar of fire and spend 1 passive point? just get at least 1-2 added fire damage to spells to proc your ignites
Why Ethereal Knives for the high level CWDT instead of something like FlameSurge/Fireball? What about Vortex/Ice Nova/Magma Orb?
why no regular molten shell in any setup? I got that thing cranking out 80k damage per hit
Okay! I'm back with a question from the guide in the comments. I dropped AoF and got Barbarism, Juggernaut, etc. Now that we don't have AoF, and my sceptre has Fire Damage to Spells, will I still ignite? Also, what should my 6th gem in chest BV be since I would take out Added Fire Damage? Lastly, what would I put as my 4th gem in helmet since I decided to put Flame Surge + Shock Nova + Bladefall on CWDT Lvl 20? Thank you for answering all these questions of mine!
Agh sorry for the bombardment of questions.. but would it be better to use Elemental Focus instead of Fire Penetration on your sceptre with The Taming + Emberwake?
Will this build still be viable with the 2.5.1 update with the "More Modifier" changed on the blade vortex?
About leveling.
Should we rush inmediatly in to vaals pact and then move to the other nodes?
I assume level with something generic like Sunder and grab all the life and dmg nodes and grab Vaal when you're ready to transition soon.
Shulter only take vaal pack after you unlock soaked in savagery
How do you stay in melee range at bosses? Looks like some kind of flicker action, but i just can figure it out :)

How did u afk minotaur? If I use kaom (I have lvl89) he killes me 1shot by going underground, sometimes random rock fall kills me.
I played in last patch with this build and is pretty damn good, but there's a huge difference between have or not the taming ring. (btw I didn't farm tons ex for buy it ;/ ) But... still a great build to start.
what is the interaction of ele prolif with eye of innocence? does is consider the prolif effect as a single burn or it counts it all. like 10 enemies burned with prolif burns each other. does the eye counts it at 10 burns or 100?
there's no way to link prolif to amulet and anyways, those 100 dmg won't do a thing
Another question, in the video you say to put Shock Nova on your helmet but in your guide, it shows you have Ball of Lightning and for your sceptre, you have Fire Penetration in the video but Elemental Focus in the guide. Which is better on your helmet and sceptre?
Doesn't matter really, u can test both setups. Shock nova gets a bit better clearing in packs. As for your sceptre, go fire penetration.
I'm thinking about doing this one in 2.6 since it seems it survived the patch notes? My thought were to go Flameblast totem and then convert to this after a little while :) How is it to play "non-afk" wise? I am not that interested in the going AFK part, i just think it seems pretty cool :D
That's how the creator plays all the time, he just clears shit. But the AFK mechanism makes the build coffee-compatible so it could be nice.
And yes it survived the patch! :D

It could be considered as a fun alternative sure, however you have to compensate for the loss of life and res on the rest of your gear (which can be quite expensive).
Fucking based video, when I get home today I'm going to make a character and start leveling. BTW before warchief totem what do you guys recommend leveling up with? Flame totem, cleave, etc? Loved your montage and I was waiting so bad for this vid.
Edit: I forgot we had a full passive respec. So I just respec'd my warchief totem build into the GG edition of the build. Kaoms + Emberwake + The Taming. FeelsAmazingMan Feels5FpsMan
There is nothing before warchief, just go default attack or something :)
Sunder is pretty decent. You'll get it on lvl12. Before that, I recommend Cleave or Groundslam.
I leveled with both Blade Vortex and totems

Use them, ours have shitty rolls as well :)
If you spec into zealots oath, is the "% of max life regen" based on your max ES, or the health you have (or would have without CI, if you have CI)?
When you spec into Zealots Oath the % of regen is based on your max ES and not your life.

Yea sure, but you will do very low damage so I wouldn't consider it.
Now will leech still work without that rin that gives 300 ignites? Without you will ignite just once? Reason why i ask is im using fireball + orb of storms and arc just to get ignites and leech that 1% dmg but not interested in dmg from it just need ignites i kill with my righteous fire without that ring. Looks like im always ignite even if its just 1 mob there
idk on the details, but with 2 embrace rings it is going well to T8 so far and sub-optimal gear (5L belly with 1 off color). I really want a Taming but I'm concerned that by the time I can afford it, league will be over and I don't dig Standard as much...
i cant find leveling skill tree? which way should we go for leveling tree? i dont want waste a lot of orb of regret at 68 level..
At the forum post we have a leveling tree for converting to blade vortex at lvl 68. Before that, you can go wherever you like.
Do you know if your AFK build is viable in 3.0 ?
What are the pc components used while playing on this build?
doesnt matter, the lag issue is on server side since it cannot calculate all ignites fast enough

Got a couple questions, im using 5L belly, and im lvl 76, I find my vaal molten doesnt last long enough to kill say "voll - wasteland"?
and i also noticed your one shotting rares in the vid, I one shot everything basically.. cept rares who make me "linger" until they die?
furthermore I sometimes "pop" to one shot dmg, how do you get around this?
and finally in your vid you kill Shav in Script w/o Vaal molten almost instantly, how? and in the gorge vid you had frenzy charges why?

- Most likely you still lack a lot of dmg considering you're only lvl 76. Chrispied who plays in the video is lvl 91.
- Frenzy charges comes from Blood rage which you can use as a faster-clearing option in your gloves.
- You cannot get around one-shots, just go for as much life as possible on your gear.

So I've hit a bit of a wall at level 51. Everything hits so hard and my 2x Ancestral Warchiefs, Earthquake, and CWDT Firestorm/Flamability just aren't cutting it anymore. Also, Eye of Innocence is 70 chaos and Essence of Hysteria are 50 chaos each! What do?!
Really fun to play and the lag thing is true in breaches i have like 2 FPS but i destroy everything EZ! haha

I have a Huge problem Beath a Tir 9 Map Boss in The Map : OrcHard with this build. I do almost have all the gear from the guide But the Rat chest dosent kill it fast and it dosent trikker my heal

very ... nice... accent .. xD its a superb method on too talking xD but a serious question..when being a marauder what acscend class is best i always feel like jugger with endurance charges cant die.. but can you please englighten me with youre holy knowledge when it comes too marauder witch of them three carries harder and longer and can take big hits.. i know slayer has culling but its meh i wanna regen trough dmg and be a wrecking ball but duno if EQ or something else.. but i always go eq :S thanks.

Sure there are other ways but then we're talking about a totally different build. For "AFK Gone Cheap" Eye of Innocence is an essential part of the build core mechanic :)
I'm using this AFK build following his guild on the Forum, but in this video he suggest to use Vaal Molten Shell with The Rat Cage for bosses, BUT, when you enter an Arena to fight the boss, Vaal Molten Shell Loose it's Souls, it drops to 0, So, How?
This is only true for Izaro, since he's located in a separate instance from the Labyrinth. In The atlas all bosses will be in the same instance as the map, so you can keep your souls.

hey guys i'm totaly new on game.. trying this build just for fun.. have a question.. why in helmet and boots. the gems are low lvl ? if put it 20 on all no mean more dmg given ?
The gems in the helmet are low lvl because we want them to trigger as often as possible. The major dmg output comes from the fire burst from the sceptre, which is triggered more times if we have a higher hits/sec. Since the CWDT setups in the helmet are low-lvl, they will trigger the linked spells more often, thus causing more hits/sec --> more fire bursts --> more dmg!

That's definitely recommended considering you'll take higher dmg from Eye of Innocence on every ignite otherwise, not to mention the extra dmg from mobs.
Does the build still work if ur getting fps drop to like 30 or less? or u need to spam something?
No u don't need to spam anything it's more for faster clear speed. Just do what your computer allows. Just under 30 FPS is a dream for some ppl :)

Is there a reason why you didnt take MoM? Like the build has mana leech.
If you free up your mana and get two corrupted praxis with max roll corruption mod: damage taken gained as mana when hit that should do it. But then we're no longer talking about "AFK Gone Cheap".
The extra life pool you'd receive would still not cover more than if you just went with max roll life on your rings.
did 2.5.1 change this build with the blade vortex double dip nerf?????
Basically it means nothing, a tiny bit slower boss kills.
