The Game Theory Minecraft theories I highly interesting. As a casual fan of the game, I actually underestimated how much lore was present.
By the way, the channel 'So Uncivilized' (which did the Star Wars vid you watched) has just released another vid, this time about the VERY divisive films of Zack Snyder. I personally think it's pretty great, thought I'd recommend it for a reaction. :)

Kinda random but i love how youre saying at 04:05 or smth that maybe its the players creating the puzzle to solve and that just kinda feels very reminiscent to me of how humans tend to create logic where there is none to then decipher it and "gain understanding" bc the mind wants to comprehend. Maybe im just high rn but i love that thought

To add to the Chorus Fruit part of this theory. You, as the player. Can eat them. The Chorus Fruit is the only food known to the End. The ancient civilization eating them, and turning into Enderman because of them, would make sense.
And, sense you the player, have Overworld food, you won't turn into an Enderman, if you eat a few. I mean, whether you want to go Enderman hunting to teleport, or you could stock up on Chorus Fruit, either way. They're the only non cheaty way, of teleporting

Talking about why endermen are in the overworld: Matpat was talking about the pre-endermen people, when they first got to the end, they couldn't escape, but as they evolved further and further into modern endermen with their teleportation abilities, they can teleport out just fine. At least that's my assumption.
Also, I recommend giving minecraft story mode a shot, none of what's presented in that game is actually canon to the lore of the base game, it's simply a story that's written in the setting of minecraft but was very entertaining when I was younger

Yes, Vanilla Minecraft is great but that is just the base! There are mods and textures packs and shaders to make your world very beautiful! It's only a suggestion. But I think you'll appreciate some of those maybe.
