That's a nice looking 3010 there. Growing up we had one of those only it was a tricycle front end and a gasser. It was our "big" tractor ran the baler, disk harrow, and good old jd one row chopper when we did corn silage.
Nice looking tractor Mike and it sounds great. It’s a good feeling when you get to things that had been on the back burner. Planting time is knocking on the door my friend. Thanks for the video.
I didn't know you could replace those battery boxes till you found the batteries hanging by the cables! Kinda same with the seat didn't seem to me that the feed sacks were nearly deep enough ha ha!
Lol yeah gotta love the old pioneer bag on the seat. Nothing worse then sitting on the seat and getting a wet butt from the torn leather and water in the foam
Do you happen to know what the casting number for that weight rack on your 3010 is? I’m looking for the same style for my 4020 but it gets confusing with all the different style.(I like the narrow look with the fatter weights)
Thank you. We have a small side mount sicklebar mower that goes on to that bracket. It hasn't been on for a while. I wanna get the tractor all fixed up and put the mower on it and turn my dad loose
New boxes but you still have the same batteries....... That style of battery is the reason you see boxes bolted on the side of the frame...... with a little thought and a few pieces of angle iron. i redesigned the boxes on my 4010, and 4020's to fit in the stock location but with bigger better batteries.... made a video..... you will be surprised how easy it was.......
Hi Mike, nice to see there are some smaller family farms still in operation. What is the bracket for on the right side of your 3010? Is it for a hay mower? If so do you have the mower? It be really cool to see that.

@@mikep7810 that would be cool to see. I'm guessing you have a front PTO that powers the mower. I have a 3010 gas tractor with a front PTO. I wondered what that might run.
we don't have a front pto on this tractor. I'm gonna be totally honest with you its been so long since I've mowed with that mower but I'm pretty sure the power and hydraulics all come off the back. I'll have to check out the mower again
@@mikep7810 oh really, wow and I thought I finally come up with a reason for having a front PTO. Haha. Deere probably realized they could sell more mowers if it got it's power from the rear PTO. I'm really curious to see your mower now.
It is a proven fact on several farms that milk production goes up with a total mixed ration that would give you more money and time to play with your tractors
I appreciate your feedback and its noted. I am doing a little more then just playing with the tractors. We do plan on using this tractor and it would be nice to drive it without the battery boxes falling off. As you might have seen in other videos I've always pushed for TMR. The thing with a family farm is we all have to work together and needs to be on the same page. While others do not feel the same way about TMR that you and I do, I hope to change their minds and to one day go to it.

When I was a kid this did a lot, now its more of a back up tractor in case the something goes down
Glad you're getting the 3010 fixd up. Hope me showing ours has inspired you.
I've been meaning to do this for a while it just got put on the back burner
Always nice having a new yellow seat! We gotta keep these old tractors looking good. Great video.
Thank you. Its a great old tractor, gotta keep it going!

Thank you Stacey. You are right about that, we will be in the field before we know it. Gotta get these projects wrapped up before tillage season
Thanks for the video. Hope you had a great day the weather is changing for us. Have a great evening keep up the good work
Thank you. The weather was so refreshing. I hope it's here to stay
Surprised you watch his video. All you do is bad mouth next generation farmers or maybe I misunderstood you but I don’t think so
@@tonynovak956 I'm not surprised that he watches, I think I have a very good channel! 😀
Wow. That was a “super clean” install. Looks good!
Lol thank you. Luckily it was warm enough to show my super clean shirt
Enjoy the nice weather we got mike thanks for sharing
Thank you. It was really nice to work on that tractor in a tshirt
That's a nice tractor to keep around
Yes. It comes in handy when the 2940 had to go in the shop last summer and we had this to run

I put 12 volt car batteries on my 4020. Last 3 to 5 times longer than the long skinny batteries. Didn't hurt to put a nipendenzo starter on as well.
Thanks for the tip
Mike she looks like a new tractor and purred like a kitten very nice video.
Thank you. It's a beautiful tractor that's for sure!
I like the video keep them coming
Thank you
Great video Mike!👍🏻
Thank you
Great video Mike, keep it up! 👍
Thank you Patrick
Hi Mike. I ended up getting the steps for my 4320 right from Deere and they are worth the extra money!
We have them on our 4555 and our 4055. We really like them
Good job
Thank you James
You need to do some videos of 3010 with that sickle bar mower
I just got it back up and running this past summer so maybe this summer I'll get the mower put on and take some video if you want
Fixing stuff #soopr clean giveaway.
You are entered in the contest!
Replacing the old rusty parts with new ones and be very satisfying
I was very satisfying seeing it done
The old deere is looking good.
Thanks Eric. I'm excited to see it when its all done
Great video. Enjoy this 60 some degree weather. Did you get your corn and soybean seed yet!
Thank you! I wish it didn't dip back down to the 30s. We got one shipment of corn seed. There will be more loads coming
How do you like your BC5070 baler just took delivery of our brand new BC5060 it's pretty nice
We have been very happy with our 5070. Makes a big bale and packs a lot of hay in them. I would definitely get another one

I ordered it from sloan

I'm not trying to tell you how to do your job or anything but maybe you should Lube that seat action up a little bit before you put the new seat on.
I appreciate your feed back, I'll have to take off the bottom 4 bolts and pop the seat off quick and do that
Can you keep doing milking cow videos
I'll see what I can do
Mike7810. Say. Hey
Hey Corey
You worry about making your tractors pretty feed your cows correctly buy a TMR already.
If I did everything that YOU think I should be doing then you would have nothing to complain about on the next video
