When Jungkook doesn’t have a lot of official solo songs- and only had one, which is seven, he performed some BTS classics, his solo song in a BTS album and his BTS festa solo song, it’s actually so good for him to perform his past songs and his band’s song. It’s not because “people knows him much better as BTS”, it just tells that how he can slay his own band’s song as a solo artist, kinda reminds me of Harry, Niall, Liam and Louis performed 1D’s songs at their own concert, it just meant a lot to the group’s fans- and not just the solo stans. Other BTS members also performed BTS songs at their own solo set or concert, and I love how Jungkook also follows them. Singing Still With You for the first time and at a huge festival, and the crowd sings with him word by word, and it’s in Korean as well, is so fucking hot of him- it just shows how impactful he is, that a song that was released on BTS anniversary, that had 0 promotion and radioplay, and never had a live version before this… did THAT. He teased his song (3D) too, and announced the official release date afterwards. Well, he did it first- so…. All of this, and he didn’t even lip sync one bit, you can hear how loud the back track is and the difference between his own voice vs the back track, you can’t ignore the fact that he sang every single song LIVE. If you ever doubt Jungkook’s greatness as an artist, just because he is in the military right now, again, emphasise on the words “in the military”, yup he would be more huge than he was in 2023 if he isn’t in the military. He’s already huge back in 2023, imagine if he’s active as a solo artist right fucking now.
