    Hi this is a very informative and thorough explanation of the homebuying process in NJ.We are planning to start looking in Nj for a home.I used to live in Jersey City years back.I have a question when you mentioned,"Deposit on Contract"..does NJ have a specific amount your are supposed to deposit or does the buyer have the option?I ask this because I am a veteran and I plan to use my VA home loan??

      @@ShaynonGramling You're welcome.With that being said on putting down a earnest amount..is there a particular amount or percentage that is needed?That is where our dilemma came into play in New York.We were told that the earnest deposit was 3.5%of offer price,and when we saw the paperwork we were confused.Now that we will begin to look for our home in New Jersey is the process the same as in New York?

    Thank you so much!!! So easy to understand. Out i've curiosity what do you think of Rahway, New Jersey?

    • @ShaynonGramling
      @ShaynonGramling  Год назад

      Thank you for the feedback! Rahway is a good suburban town with good bar and restaurant options. It also has a direct train line to Penn Station in Manhattan and it's easy to get to other cities in North Jersey, as well as the shore. Are you looking to buy there?

    can you have more then one real estate agent to help you find homes?
    can you recommend a mortgage broker to help you get preapproved with low interest rates in NJ? thank you

    • @ShaynonGramling
      @ShaynonGramling  Год назад

      That's a great question. I recommend using one real estate agent to help you find a home. I also have a lender that I always recommend who gives competitive rates. Are you still looking to buy a home in NJ? I'd be happy to help and refer anyone you need (lenders, attorneys, inspectors, etc.)
