    Nice short review. Like Bernoulli's Equation printed on the blower. Nice touch of them. How do you experience the catch cup? It seems a bit tall and narrow and hard to empty of grounds stick to the walls by static.

    • @coffeechronicler
      @coffeechronicler Год назад +1

      Wondered what that equation was :) The catch cup works well in daily use. Precise to pour from and no unnecessary cap or extra step to put in place.

      it really looks like a clone of this one (which is already very similar to the lagom mini)

    The external power is a CE marking thing. They most likely buy an already approved power supply and as the grinder is then a low voltage device it hardly needs any approvals. Plugging mains power to a grinder require a ton more approvals for safety.

    They definitely need to rethink their brand. It sounds like something a 13year old would put at their x box username in 2011 and just got stick with it for life.

    My favourite local roaster/equipment supplier recently started carrying MHW-3Bomber accessories. I bought a basic scale and a WDT tool. Both are built really well. The scale is excellent! It's fast, accurate, and wasn't expensive or difficult to use. The WDT tool has slightly too large/thick needles, but the nice design makes it easy to switch out the needles.
    Excited to see what this oddly-named company does in the future!

      They have a lot of high quality accessories for nice prices. I love the brand. Sad that their S7 espresso machine is very expensive, I’d take it over a flair because it’s beautiful.

    If you had to choose between this and the varia vs3 for espresso, which would you choose?

      I haven't tried VS3, but generally I prefer the burr design used in Sniper (7 vs 6 spokes)

    This brand had until recently something which looked like an improved XeoLeo, 78mm shark teeth, with additionally a system to reduce static and fines, and with a motor speed regulator. It looked very sturdy and nice, and costed only about €240. But they already put it out of sale from the moment that they put the grinder in this video on sale. Unfortunately think this is telling something about what kind of brand 'mhw-3 bomber' is, despite that they seem to make (or rebrand) decent products...

    If the V2 VS3 solves the “motor issue”, it’s looking like the better buy. It’s around $100 cheaper.

      That's about the right price for this type of grinder. However, I'd strongly prefer the heptagonal burr for multipurpose.

    This is probably an excellent grinder and looks fantastic. However grinders and machines are something that people upgrade a lot and resale value is very important. As good as this brand is they won't hold their value like a eureka or niche.
