"any thought i get from a book is welcome" i agree with that so much, no book is a waste of time if it got you to feel/think of something you otherwise wouldn't in that time...
Okay wow, I want to read Hamnet now! And also, I absolutely LOVED The Glass Castle. Also, I’ve read one novel by J. M. Coetze and it was one of the worst reading experiences of my life. I hope you don’t feel too pressured to “keep up” with Booktube or whatever, I specifically come to your channel for fresh recommendations and a queer perspective on literary fiction. So keep doing you, I’m here for it!
i'll stay away from coetzee from now on ✨ i say pressure but i also just want to read a lot of books which results in always being in a rush to finish them 😐 but tysm, i love having that as my brand

I read The Glass Castle a few years ago and loved it. Imo the movie sadly lacked the nuance of the book.
How did you feel about the book A Little Life? I thought it was ok.🤔
i hate it so much but i cant get rid of it because i conquered that and i wont let myself forget it
