This is absolutely stunning!!! I was trying to follow how you made all those foldouts, tucks and pockets and I think I lost count! Just beautiful! I love how shabby and vintage this looks. You did such a great job, Francesca! So inspiring! 💗
New to me are the photo negative storage sheets and tracing paper. Like I said with the flip through, I love it that you can see more of the background papers this way. And tracing paper is much more affordable than vellum and can be obtained in different weights. I like that the two outer blocks put in reversed, with their spines to the front. It keeps all the ephemera in and protects the pages. The eyelets and strings make quick and lovely closures. And how wonderful that the journaling signature can be replaced, very clever construction! Well well done! 👍🏼❤️
This is beautiful - a great design, I love it. Thank you for sharing it with us. Thank you too, as always, for the generous and fab freebies. I'm hoping to get a cheaper printer, so that I can purchase your beautiful kits. At the moment, my printer ink is about £27 and only prints about 15 sheets!! Yours are my favourite kits over anyone else's. You are so kind and generous. Have a lovely week ahead. Take care, Val xx
💕💕 Ooooo.....Francesca!!! This is incredibly beautiful, I absolutely love it!!! I'm going to get this kit & make a journal like this 💕💕 I have several of Tinne's kits & love them all!!! I love your work, sweet friend....you inspire me
Gail, this is just a guideline, you can make your own flips and folds as you go along ^^ This way you can make it less complicated. But indeed the main structure is important to figure out first.
OMG you got me AGAIN!!! :) what kind of string is she using for the closure...collecting all my supplies...:) thank you so much for such beautiful designs. Can't wait to make this one :)
Print one side, then take out the paper, turn around and print on the other side. It's as simple as that. If your printer doesn't line up perfectly (some don't, sadly), you can print a full vintage paper on the back.
WOW...I really like this, Francesca! I like how you created the inside sets before making the cover! Love all the folds! Fantastic journal! Thank you!
Love it. I like the three pieces coming together in the end. I would make this for a young man

I usually go for tracing paper instead of vellum, same effect ^^

That's really expensive ink for so few sheets, Valerie. I buy off brand ink in big tanks and they last a long time.
incredible!!! Love watching you work

Do you have a transcript for this or audio? I’m new to this hobby and need all the help I can get. Thank you. Love this lapbook!😊
No, sorry.
I wish I knew what you need to print on both sides and what to print on single pages....or are they all printed one side then glued together?

Wow!
💞💞💞💞
That's a lot of complicated folds and placement without talking about what you are doing.
I'm sorry you found it complicated, Tammi
