Also, if he does bring up his engagement to Roxanne just remind him that if he goes through with the wedding that he's taking advantage of the fact that she's pretty much brainwashed in order to be with her, proving that his interest in her isn't healthy. And that despite his questionable behavior you still care about him and you just don't want him to make such a big mistake even if he doesn't reciprocate your feelings. If you take this approach the worst that can happen is that even after thinking it through properly he doesn't feel that way about you but won't stop being your friend. Actually the worst case would be if he marries Roxanne which would mean you need to reevaluate whether he is worth having those feelings towards because he obviously isn't the great guy we thought he was if he really takes advantage of Roxanne like that.
