    Would you reach for the turbo or the ratchet first?

      @@ericn24 This virus thing has disrupted my video production a bit... so I've not had chance to compare them yet.
      Ratchet and a magnetic end is pretty crucial though - and I don't see the Turbo having both.
      The supplied bits aren't magnetic for starters...
      :/

    So it can't be used with one hand? You have hold the base of the handle while twisting the top?

      @sterntechdaddy 4 года назад +1

      When the mechanism is locked it’s a normal screwdriver - so it can then be used with one hand.
      But for the ‘Turbo’ feature you need two hands - one to hold the bit end of the handle and one to turn the main shaft section.
      A key factor in this is that the included bits aren’t magnetic... which sometimes makes using it a bit of a juggling act.

      @@sterntechdaddy cheers for the reply, was hoping for a different answers tho, because would things quicker, but for me most jobs will need one free to hold cables

      The mechanism locks - and once the bits are magnetised it'll hold the screws like any other driver, but switching to Turbo will be problematic if you need to hold something else too.
      If you have long threaded screws that need to fit into machined holes then the Turbo will make life easier.
      But once things have quietened down a bit I'll be able to focus on a video discussing all this.

    Do you find it as solid/ Strong as the ratchet?

    • @sterntechdaddy
      @sterntechdaddy 4 года назад

      In general terms I'd say yes... There are some subtle differences, but both the Ratchet and Turbo 1 behave like any other screwdriver.
      I'm not worried that the torque I provide will bend or break the mechanisms of either one... but its pretty clear that the Turbo feature is only for machined screws.
      The Covid-19 pandemic has meant that I haven't been able to make the in depth Turbo 1 review I mention in this video.... but it will happen.

      @@sterntechdaddy do you have a comparison with milwaukee ratchet screwdriver?

      I'll be comparing it to the Wera one I've had for years...
