hey. I am Amy. wanna tell u that if you are buying the ticket online, either on apps or the website, you don't have to follow the reserved time. I always book a 5pm ticket but got onto the train at 10am and it is totally fine. so no need to panic for missing the train, the ticket will be valid at all time in the same day. moreover, you can also change the station or train by your own choice, as long as you get onto the train via the correct initial station. like if you are going to somewhere from Brighton and will change station at London, you can get off in West Ham or Blackfriars or etc, whatever, as it can arrive the your destination.
