I can't tell if I'm tripping, but I swear I went to school with this guy in Elementry school. I remember we got 4 new students from Thailand in 3rd grade and one of them looked A LOT like this guy. If this is him, ChinaTownRunner was super quite and would barely talk to anyone besides the other kids from Thailand. Him and the other kids from Thailand only stayed at my elementary school for 2 years and then left. I never saw them again. I was good friends with one of his buddies "Shoo Ru" and went to school at Lawrence Elementary in Colorado. I also went to Arvada High School but never saw ChinaTownRunner in the hall ways

I focus on this type of history, I am close to his type of people. He is explaining the vietnam war which he was then brought over here to the US. Many refugees were brought to Australia, US, France, and more because of one man. Vang Pao and maybe others.

@@MileHighMinute yes, so before the war started we weren’t involved such as my people the Hmong and many others related. When the war spread to Laos in the late 1960’s, we were brought into it. The adults were recruited while the females and kids stayed in refugee camps. But the Vietnam didn’t care and killed refugees in the camps. There were also dogs around the area and they ate dogs, chickens, pigs, goats, and all the animals in the area. They had to cross a river known as the Yellow river where they were shot no matter who including babies. They had boats but not enough and some had to swim and drowned. We had to stay at the camp for years while dads, grandpas, brothers, and uncles fought. I don’t really know everything but we were led by a guy named General Vang Pao. When we started retreating it was only supposed to be the high ranking recruits going or just him but he said he wouldn’t leave without his people so then as we retreated we had to cross again I think and samething, they shot refugees. It took years to get all the people that wanted to go somewhere new. I think you had a choice but it was sorted by last name. So if you were a Yang you would go when it was your turn. The only reason we lost was because we were playing guerilla war style which basically has no rules and the Americans weren’t trained for that. Which is why we were recruited. We knew the jungles, we were fast, and we didn’t need much training. But in the end, we lost. But it’s a win, North Vietnam gets their land, Refugees get to go to America, Australia, and French Guinea or something else. Which is how we got where we are. I study this war a lot more than others because it’s the reason I’m here today. I’m very thankful. I don’t know everything because I’m still young and I learned it from my teacher in elementary. I hope to find more information and have an interview or make a video when I get older. And thank you for your interest!

Im not 100% sure but they just gave him that name in his old neighborhood. Im assuming it has something to do with other races probably assuming he was Chinese probably because humans you assume that people of other ethnicities look the same. China is in the eastern hemisphere, same with Thailand
