  • Here is a demonstration of the sound and functionality of the band pass filter of the Yamaha CS-5.
    The instruments in the theme music were created entirely with the Yamaha CS-5, through multitracking monophonic lines. The drums were assembled out of GarageBand loops.

    Thanks for these deep dives. Years ago i had a chance to buy a cs-5 but i let it slip for an arguably better korg ms50. I dont regret it but i really love the sound the cs5 has

    U know what¡ IT does have a weird sorta _slicey_ quality tooo it like nothing i've heard since the CS-80 but even sharper FLOABW¿
    i went back & watched the previous vids you did on C-15, C-50,..etc & this Yamaha is similar tooo those ofc but has it's own different character tooo it's sonic(s) tooo my ^ears^ unlike,
    i think i've ever heard from those folksof [the] Yamaconglomerate as usual, once again & one more time, udahman, Udahbest Doty UrgUrU thanx again dude
