Clones. Faceless soldiers. Automatons who only follow orders. These are the words that many within the galaxy will use when describing the Clone Army who fought for the Republic. To them, they are little better than the droids they fought. But for those on the front lines of this terrible war? We saw brave men, fighting for a war they didn't ask for, but one they fought in all the same. We saw soldiers, warriors, and brothers in arms who fought side by side for years with their allies and friends. They laughed, cried, yelled, and cheered just like anyone else. A cruel act of betrayal from one man turned them into the very thing so many believed they were. Regardless of this fate, for us who knew them, we do not hold them in contempt. Instead, we offer a salute, and give our farewell to our fellow brothers in arms. Though your time was short, you will be remembered for centuries to come. May you find peace in the next world, brave soldiers of the Republic.
