Wow! He did an awesome job. It is clearly obvious that her loves her deeply to go along with this. For not being a dancer he gave it his 'all' to please her. I hope they are still dancing; he has lots of potential to do this. He featured her and made her the focus. My husband and are are semi-professional dancers and we met through dancing. It is the best thing couples can do together. I wish them well and continued happiness with dancing!
That was the best!! And it's because they BOTH committed to it along with their friends!! No point if one is really into it and the other is not feeling it...awesome to watch both of them enjoy the moment!!! Sign of a true couple and believing they will make long haul!! Love it!
YOU DID IT!!!!!! yeaaaaaaaa. Proud of the husband for doing this for his wife. And proud of the wife for being patience. I know how we can get sometimes. LOL
TOTALLY knocked it out of the PARK!!!BRAVO!!! John, this gorgeous woman you married knew you could do it!!! LISTEN to her.....!!!MANY, MANY, MANY blessings in your LIFE!!!
Damn... you go to a wedding & you get to be entertained by the bride & groom! Those guest are so lucky !!! Bride is beautiful & dance so well. Groom is very funny ! What a wonderful couple. All the best !!!
Fantastic!! You both did a great job!! Alysha better hold on to John! I know of absolutely no men that would go through all of those dance lessons & practices to make her dream come true! He must really love you Alysha & I hope that 4 years later that your marriage is still going strong!!
Congratulations to the newlywed couple and I wish you all the best in your married life together as husband and wife. They look like professional dancers.
Has to be one of the cutest and most entertaining first dance wedding videos I've ever seen. The groom (who couldn't dance at the beginning) was such a good sport. The bride (a good dancer : ) was gorgeous and the bridesmaid's dresses were lovely. The wedding dance was awesome. Great video.
You know, he did all of that because he REALLY loves her, & wants for her to have her childhood dream. My younger son did that for his wife, & she's worth every bit of it...a loving wife to my son, a good mother to my grandson, & a considerate, friendly daughter in law. They were married in the fall, outdoors in the fall, in the NC Appelachians. Gorgeous day, lovely bride & groom. I loved it.
What a great wedding dance. Probably the best I've ever seen. So sweet of her husband to make her day so memorable even though he wasn't a "dancer". Looked like one to me!
This is by far the best ever wedding dance! I have viewed hundreds of wedding dances, and you both were perfectly matched with the right moves and music! Congrats for an amazing job!
Great job, you two. As someone else said, I've never known a man who would do that for his love. This actually shows his willingness, her passion, both able to work together as a team......great ingredients for a marriage.
They never could have pulled this off if they hadn't really trusted & loved each other AND for the fact that he had a great sense of humor about it. BRAVO!
I would love to see a 10th anniversary dance. I am so happy you are still together. A couple that will dance together can do life really well together. Keep having fun and respect each other and put your mate first. Best wishes xoxo
That was awesome! Very impressive. And the bride pulled that body roll off without a hitch. And I saw her " back that thang up" too. Thanks for the Bobby Brown throwback. Much appreciated.
That was awesome! Thank you for sharing your truly tender and quite lovely wedding experience with the world. Blessings on your lives, union and family. BRAVO!!!
Hey all! This is Alysha and John from the wedding video above. I know some of you wonder if we are still together... lol Yes! We now have a 3 year old and still love dancing with each other. I also teach other couples their first wedding dances as well and get to share that joy with others. Thank you for all your amazing comments. Even the mean ones make me smile.... Thanks for taking the time to watch our dance and enjoy that special day with us!
You are both fantastic dancers!! You rival Kym and Robert's (from Dancing with the Stars) wedding dance videos from this year! I'd put you both on the same level as them...if not higher!!
That was the best couples dance I've seen and I watch them all the time!!! He learned the dances for you... WOW!!! and both of your form was so wonderful. The years of dance really showed with the beautiful bride.... and the handsome groom was grest as well, with a cute sense of humor. Just beautiful and so happy you still both dance together.
Shocked you two are still together. 99.9% of your video was all about you, you, you. Your special day (but ya never mention, his wedding day and how he felt about your goal to look like a diva). Hope all is going well for HIM.

Alysha Wheeler do you happen to know the name of tango and salsa? im from hungary and in dire need to find out the names of the songs, ive been searching for months and i cant figure out what they are called, my wedding is in august and i would love to do a tango salsa mashup... please help me out if you can :)
This is great for sure. I was focused on John the first time I watched it, but I knew he would come through. And I watched it twice. It was so good, I suggest you have a big bash for your 25th, surprise everybody, and recreate this.
this was awhile ago, but who cares. I cried just because I've never known a man who would do that for his love. it was lovely and fun. great memory and showed early on that you can work together as a team. Hope everything is still wonderful and that you still dance sometimes
Debra Steinman the downs are from people that think she's a psycho. She probably still runs his life, bosses him around, and forces him to be someone he's not every day of his life. Hope she's worth it.
I guess I just don't understand how it has come about that the couple need to be an act rather than just having a dance with and for each other. There seems to be a competition these days as to who can dish up the most bizarre/choreographed/showy piece and, of course, get it out there on RUclips for all the world to see. The sweetness and spontaneity of weddings has gone out the window.
Yeah, I'm with you. Coz let's face it, this was purely the bride's vanity project. There was no need to put on an elaborate production and put her husband through all of that pressure, they could have just done a nice waltz. It was all artificial pressure, no one would have noticed, or cared, if they left it out completely. Perhaps it was a case of the bride always wanting to be a professional dancer and this was her chance to perform in front of a captive audience - although most of us lose the impulse to impress our friends and family when we become adults. Just hope that her next vanity project is channeled into something that benefits the community (without roping her husband into it).
I see it from a different, less judgmental perspective....if this is what makes these people happy....if this is how they want to celebrate their love....then leave them alone and let them have their fun!
Maybe, if you just watched it with the same joy the couple did it with, you would see the beauty of a couple dancing with each other because it makes them happy..cause they love each other! What I don't understand is the fact that you felt it was ok to be so judgmental over a moment that was for them, you don't need to like it or understand it and you certainly don't have to watch it. It's THEIR wedding dance, not yours. Lighten up! It was awesome!
HE is so much better than she is! She is obviously a beginner ballroom dancer. He has natural rhythm and smooth relaxed movement. She thinks too much. It's forced. Just FYI, I've danced and taught professionally for over thirty years. So to say "the best wedding dance ever"? Not so. It's great that they had fun. But she really overestimated her talents when she was impatient with him and underestimating and under-appreciating his natural talent.
This was so AWESOME!!!! I absolutely loved it! Now why can't I ever go to a wedding with a 1st dance this fun. Noone wants to sit through a boring 1st dance!!!
Weddings get into these productions now ... it's cute and sure, some are entertaining. But the cost of these things alone, plus the planning ... isn't that enough **** to do before your big day?? Now the bride and groom need choreography lessons too?!
Sweet love, there's no reason to explain yourself. It was YOUR wedding! And I was standing and applauding in my living room like you guys actually know me and/or care about my opinion. Hands down the best I've seen. Dancer to Dancer, I loved it!
Clearly the bride loves herself much more than her groom - "are you gonna help this one?...yeah he needs a little help...". I mean, WHAAAAT??? Woman, you think you don't need help? And she's giving so much pressure on the groom. Absolutely not pleasant to watch her talking to him. I'm sorry but this is not the best wedding dance ever. I've seen better. Misleading video title. Again on RUclips.
Yes,I noticed but it still wasn't the best. Be honest did you think it was the best? I was simply stating my opinion. Cute yes! The Best not even close!
What a man will do for the woman he loves. He nailed it!
Absolutely, and it was beautiful.
Made me cry! He worked so hard and was absolutely fabulous! He was really showing her his love and devotion! That's beautiful!
Best ever! Groom worked really hard and bride was SMOOTH!
This guy is adorable and an awesome sport
Wow! He did an awesome job. It is clearly obvious that her loves her deeply to go along with this. For not being a dancer he gave it his 'all' to please her. Post a video.... please 😀😁😂
Theresa Byars..... video please 😀😁😂
That was the best!! And it's because they BOTH committed to it along with their friends!! No point if one is really into it and the other is not feeling it...awesome to watch both of them enjoy the moment!!! Sign of a true couple and believing they will make long haul!! Love it!
That was freakin AWESOME!!! The groom came through in the clutch
Loving this! Hoping yall are still dancing these 14 yrs later❤
What a fun couple! They did such a great job. I knew it was going to be good with their good sense of humor.
I loved it. both bride and groom were on point. every entertaining to watch!
YES!... this was the best entrance wedding dance ever...I hope the two of you are still dancing. All the best
Damn... you go to a wedding & you get to be entertained by the bride & groom! Those guest are so lucky !!! Bride is beautiful & dance so well. Groom is very funny ! What a wonderful couple. All the best !!!

WOW!!!! The wife was so graceful!!!
I’m clapping! They did amazing! The couple worked so hard at their dance and it really showed! Beautifully done guys!
Congratulations to the newlywed couple and I wish you all the best in your married life together as husband and wife. They look like professional dancers.

beautiful! the best part was how much fun they had while doing it
The Entrance and end were my two favorite things, besides John being a supportive loving man!
" she's worried about my hands, i'm like 'i don't even know the steps' ". HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Yeah,,,,he was funny in saying that! what a trooper!
Saeeda Sankar was d
FANTASTIC!!!!!!!! Hope you two are going strong for 5 years now and keep on dancing.
To the groom-now-husband (or else...) : Man, you did a fantastic job. That's really kind for your woman. That's awesome, well done dude.
What a great wedding dance. Probably the best I've ever seen. So sweet of her husband to make her day so memorable even though he wasn't a "dancer". Looked like one to me!

Amazing!!!!! This is probably the best wedding dance video- love it. Wish I could just copy the whole thing! Love the ending too. Great job guys!
That was great!!!
WOW !!! I LOVE IT !!! YOU KNOW THERE GOING TO HAVE A VERY YOUTHFUL AND HAPPY MARRIAGE
if you can survive teaching your groom a wedding dance, you'll be able to get through anything! 😄 great job!
That was great!! I was grinning the whole time.
Fabulouuuuuus!! 😂😂 I do so love a man who can actually dance! And with such unaffectedness & humour. Fun couple!
That was so good. I really loved the first part with the practicing. Now that's a dedicated man. You pulled it off and it was perfect!!!!
He is so adorable, I wish them 70 years of love and happiness. Be good to each other youhear.
So cute!
Definitely the best I have seen!!!! Kudos to the groom---that's LOVE.
Wise choice of dress! Finally a bride who is looks comfortable in it .
Amazing! Great job groom...you came through like a champ! And of course the bride was beautiful and was jamming!
YOU GUYS ROCK::)))😘😋🙌🙆😸😹 Excellently done! BRAVO 👏👏👏👏👏 I could watch your video on going and not get tire of it!!

Alysha Wheeler that is so wonderful!! A beautiful couple!
He really loves you, to give you the gift of all that effort. Glad he got a taste of the magic of dance so he still dances.
That was the best couples dance I've seen and I watch them all the time!!! He learned the dances for you... WOW!!! and both of your form was so wonderful. Girl I would love to call you for our 25th anniversary/Renewal Ceremony but the hubby doesn't dance ; (
Raquel Rene' Alyshea's husband is not a dancer either. He learned just the exact steps for one dance.
Alysha Wheeler do you happen to know the name of tango and salsa? im from hungary and in dire need to find out the names of the songs, ive been searching for months and i cant figure out what they are called, my wedding is in august and i would love to do a tango salsa mashup... please help me out if you can :)
***** The salsa "Refugio de amor" by Chayanne (Movie "Dance with me") and the Tango "El Choclo" by Enrique Chia.
This is great for sure. I was focused on John the first time I watched it, but I knew he would come through. And I watched it twice. It was so good, I suggest you have a big bash for your 25th, surprise everybody, and recreate this.
Awesome!
Now THAT is what I call a wedding dance, they were rockin' it, tremendous job !
this was awhile ago, but who cares. I cried just because I've never known a man who would do that for his love. it was lovely and fun. great memory and showed early on that you can work together as a team. Hope everything is still wonderful and that you still dance sometimes

BRAVO! Love the Bobby Brown at the end
They nailed it. The down raves are from the 'jealous' people that can't do that.
Debra Steinman the downs are from people that think she's a psycho. She probably still runs his life, bosses him around, and forces him to be someone he's not every day of his life. Hope she's worth it.
Any links to prove that? Oh wait ... you've got nothing.
Debra Steinman
They were really good! I loved it when he asked her if she could stop being so bossy!
This guy really loves her.... other wise he would have jumped ship. If they can survive bride boot camp they can survive any challenge.
HUGE, HUGE kudos to the husband, he's a keeper!!!
He's not a natural dancer, but he did a great job when the pressure to perform was on.
Meg Cook vc
It looks like you'll had an AWESOME time, and that's *all* that counts!!😍
I guess I just don't understand how it has come about that the couple need to be an act rather than just having a dance with and for each other. well, you don't have to watch it actually. you can decide not to do any of this vain stuff on.your own wedding. It's their day. not yours.
I see it from a different, less judgmental perspective....if this is what makes these people happy....if this is how they want to celebrate their love....then leave them alone and let them have their fun!

Absolutely the best wedding dance I've seen!!!
that man really loved her
yeah, he's what you call a good sport….the best ever!
Awwwwww beautiful couple and dance! Wow almost 7 years ago, must share this!! Live, Laugh and Love!!

Lisa Macri it was MUCH BETTER than most
I'm no expert, but he seemed looser and more natural to me, too.
👍👌👍👍👍👍
This was so AWESOME!!!! I absolutely loved it! Now why can't I ever go to a wedding with a 1st dance this fun. Noone wants to sit through a boring 1st dance!!!
note to self... never marry dancer chick.

Awesome!! Love all of it, but my favorite is the tango and salsa!!
John should have married Raul instead of Alysha Drama-Queen.
+Mark Erichson
Lol
LOL, yeah i also thought she was a little over-bearing, but it looked great in the end.
That's right. The guests were pretty much expecting a great dance, and they sure got it. Such an amazing job on both of your parts.
are you still married?
That was amazing! I couldn't quit smiling through the entire thing!
Weddings get into these productions now ... it's cute and sure, some are entertaining. But the cost of these things alone, plus the planning ... isn't that enough **** to do before your big day?? Now the bride and groom need choreography lessons too?!

it is called self-aggrandizement
Sharon Li I thought the best part was when the wedding party joined in then it looked like fun the rest looked like trying too hard
OMG that was the BEST....loved it. Beautiful Bride....she did that!!
Yes,I noticed but it still wasn't the best. Be honest did you think it was the best?
