- When it came to producing more firepower in the 16th - 19th centuries, all ideas were on the table. Two notions that appeared in numerous forms were superposed loads and the use of multiple barrels.
These solutions were adept given the absence of self-contained ammunition, and both achieved their goal of firing more shots in less time. Thankfully, the Collection of Joe Wanenmacher gives us ample opportunities to examine the multi shot flintlocks, matchlocks, and wheellocks from a variety of nations, eras, and makers.

09:49 That click! Awesomely made, superb cared for. That is beauty.
Really nice group of multi shot pistols.
How expensive is the box locked pistol?
What are the production years of these two guns? It's very important to me to track the evolution of firearm design over time, especially in relation to the ratification date of the 2A in 1791.
late 1700s

That is very a beautiful firearm!
Beautiful hand work. Not my cup of tea though.
I would be concerned about a chain or double fire. 4F in the pan makes quite a flash!
The box lock tap actions are my favourite 😍
i like the long one

@@RockIslandAuctionCompany Great RUclips video and channel, but I found the background music was too loud and distracting. I would strongly suggest you get rid of it altogether. I firmly believe that background music is distracting, annoying, and unnecessary (especially for educational or opinionated videos with lots of talking). I also believe that people want to hear you speak/get information/hear your opinions and not hear generic background music that doesn't really add anything useful and that people have to mentally filter out. Plus it will be one less thing you will have to do when making videos. Thank you.
Great vid!
With the exception of the loud background music. It nearly overpowers the man's speech.
