I'd use those covers and hide the crystals under the enchantment room along with the mufflers. That way it appears as a normal enchanting room but has a little secret perk for you while visiting.
Hypno, I researched it a bit, and here is what i think the unstable enchantment does: If you have gunpowder in your inventory, and take a fall of 4 or more, an explosion will happen, that wont harm you, but will decrease fall damage. That will only happen if it's on boots, like yours. If Unstable is put on pants, chest, or hat, then if you have gunpowder in you inv. you will act like a creeper when hit, and explode. (This wont damage you either) Good Luck! :D
Didn't read it from last video so I will stick it here too for you hypno ;) Just break the crystals, don't worry about silktouch. Get all the colours. Make them into X colour potion crystal. For example a Brown potion crystal once placed will give you a 5 minute Saturation 3 buff. Magenta gives Regen 3. Yellow from memory is Haste 3. Light Blue is Speed 3. Green is Jump Assist 3. Blue is Night Vision 3 Red is Resistance 3 Cyan is Water Breathing 3 Pink is Strength 3 Orange is Fire Resist 3 Purple is Exp - Faster than cave crystal format as well. That's what I have at my base, one of each of those buff ones, and about 6 purple ones, currently sitting at level 453 after a couple of days worth of idle time while I'm thinking up new projects, as well as a completely full OpenBlocks tank system filled with Liquid Experience for enchanting ;) The potion crystals aren't super expensive to make: 1 Block of Redstone 1 Block of Glowstone 1 Block of Gold 2 Blocks of Obsidian 4 of the coloured Crystal shards (have to be the same colour) Tinkered a bit with these so far in my local server so thought I'd share my findings ;)

In order to produce almost infinite power you need to gather a bunch of netherrack.Then make an engine that can consume lava and connect it to a Magma Crucible.Put a hopper with a chest over the Magma Crucible and this way the lava produced by the Crucible will be more than enough to fuel the engine and the one can fuel the other after a while!!Nice vid keep up the good work!!
A piece of advice for your pics in the future. Regular tool bindings do not effect the tools strength. So I advise using paper for your bindings as this will give you an extra mod on your pic for free.
Cool they made more room in the ender pouch, now you can save more things and not worry about losing important items and stuff you mined. Look forward tot he next FTB Monster Episode.
Hey, Hypno did you know that you can (with the obsidiplates mod, that is one of the more common mods) make obsidian pressure plates. They're pressure plates that only react to a player, so no more scrambling to hit that button.
Hey, Hypno, Just a little advice. I saw an enderpearl on your shelf in the main hallway. If you craft that with a single mimichite, You'll get 16 ender dust which can be crafted into roughly 1.75 enderpearls. It's not quite doubled, but it's a good way to get enderpearls until you get ender essence crops going. Good luck. I like the episode and I'll be sure to try out the power armor.
hypno, with the public farm, you can put autominous activators next to the seeds, fill the activator with the filled watering can, and put it on Right Click mode. seeds will grow much faster
About all those crystals, it's actually one of the best things in the monster. the only thing that you have misses is tah if you break them u get shards. you need 4shards. and then make a POTION CRYSTAL. [not a crystal lamp] that way you will get more exp and the buffs will last 5mins not 10secs.

The Soul Shards mod changed a lot. Now it's Soul Shards 2 mod. The Soul Shards spawners works exactly the same way as the vanilla spawners. So you can't spawn a bunch of mobs at once.
Hey Hypno! I'm pretty sure you can add some kind of night vision effect to your power armor helmet so you can see in the dark but slipg8r would know more since that's what he used last time
You can brake the crystals and pick up the drops and make a lamp think out of them and you still get the effect but in a 12x12 area instead of a 3x3 area.
Just an FYI hypno, if you haven't figured out what unstable II does, it consumes gunpowder when you take damage from enemy hits or fall damage to cause an explosion that does not damage you or blocks around you.
The house you thought was Marrilyns is actually iJevins spawn village house. You guys do have the MFR spawner and the safari balls . Use them they can spawn up to 3 at a time.
You can also enable in configs that Crystal Lamps gives effects. :) But silk touch is basiclly just as good. :) Also, if you are going to switch armor alot, apply a redstone signal to the armor stand, then just shift-click on the stand to change full set. ;) As far as Tinker's go, i like to use paper bindings for one additional modifier, on top of the diamond-gold block modifier, and eventually the Nether Star modifier. :D Made some crazy fast picks that way, downside is that if you lose the pick it's quite a loss. :P
just a tip for you =), when i played around whit the power armor in ultimate then the diamond plating wasent so good becasue it was heavy and dragged me down so i could not fly and so on, but then i switched over to the shield instead and the shield is like diamond armor allso but you do not weight so mutch so you can move around and fly and all that good stuff, the only drawback you had were that it takes energy when you get attacked. dunno if it is the same in the pack you play but it is worth a try =) //Regards moon
hey Hypno I'm not terribbly familiar with all the stuff in the pack yet, but if you need a cheap energy source you could use charcoal, a great way to get lots of wood really fast is actually rainbow trees using a lumberaxe -ask ijevin about it

Hypno: JSON is the same JSON you know from web technologies, Its inside MC because the powersuit mod can read JSON files for the crafting recipes, so they can be easily customized (its in the configs, as ThermalExpansion.recipes if you are curious).
Actually, you could change the requirement for tesseract frames. As you soon will discover, tesseract frames are among the most expensive items in the game now :) The MPS recipes are unchanged from the Unleashed times, but TE has made tesseracts a luxury item now, so they became sort of unbalanced.
If you use fortune on the crystals and turn them into the ones with the obsidian base look it up in any-eye they give you more xp and you can break them.
Btw Hypno, those cave crystals are better broken (excpet maybe purple). You get crystal shards out of it. Once you have 4 shards, you can basically remake the crystal into a normal breakable block that has the same ability but three times more powerful and lasts for 5 minutes. Also the FoV change is a setting in the numina config. Theres a FoV setting in there which you need to change to fix the FoV zooming out with speed upgrades.
Hypno I think the more expensive recipe for them, (With Obsidian, Redstone block, Glowstone, and Gold block, I think.) is enabled by default, at least mine was, unless you've manually disabled them. Just sayin', Strenth III and Regen III is very nice against those relentless mobs :)
About the Ender Lily Seeds and Watering Cans: I found out that the ender lily seeds on endstone can only grow one stage per day. If you have a farm, you can go there once a day and force all of them to grow once, and repeat that 7 times.
You should look into the rotary craft grinder for getting more from your ores, its capable of giving u about 5 ingots per overworld ore and 9 per nether ore on average

On the armor you want to just put the force for protection I think that's what its called its in between the heat sink and diamond plating but it is better than them bot if you have it on all things.
It's a bit stupid that the jetpack uses Ion thrusters since they don't work in heavy gravity, as well as that they have the same power as a brezze (they are by the way using them on the one way trip to Mars in a couple of years).
I don't know if anybody say that, but You can put one ender pearl and one mimichite to create 16 ender pearl dust, than just fill the crafting grid and You get one ender pearl, repeat the process, profit. I admit it's a little unfair but whatever, also sorry for my english, I'm polish ;)

The xp crystals are great... The Brown crystals (Saturation) and Magenta crystals (Regen) are really handy to have as well. :D

You can use the mimichrite to dupe the enderpearls to get enough to get you to the end.
Talk to Topmass and Unhost. They found an enderman spawner. Use a bedrock pick with silk touch to collect :)

You could make an exp station as a separate building, with crystals lining it and cubicles for people to afk and receive exp.

the unstable enchant means when you get hit by a mob there is a chance it will explode
if you give your armor stand a redstone signal then shift right click it will swap all your armor.
you should use the magic crops way of getting ender pearls and use watering can on these
If you use the purple crystals but if you break them you get shards and craft them into better xp crystals :)

the unstable boots blow enemys up when they hit you but they consume gunpowed
so its like a more powerful thorns enchantment that consumes gunpoweder
o ands its from open books
Hypno you should make a pick out of stone and paper so the binding and tool rod should be paper that way you can put more stuff on it

You can use compressed cobblestone to repair faster.
you really should get into rotarycraft, you can quite easily triple your ores but if you go a LITTLE bit in depth you can quintuple them (5x)
Also if you put the lava crystal on the hatchet it makes the wood into coal
You should make coal coke. It costs nothing except for the code to make the coal coke oven, and the coke is 4x as potent as the regular coal.

Get some cages, or safari-net and catch an enderman, ask DMAC for more info...
