1:05:04 it’s the lowest in popularity, but I’d probably say, as you’ve likely noticed, the fans of 2 are far more vocal of their love than the other games lol. And I am definitely one of them. I also feel like the super fans of 1 particularly won’t say anything bad about the game, where the 2 fans will point out every flaw in the game, and then just smile and laugh and tell you it’s still their favorite when you get confused why they have so many issues with it XD. Glad to hear you’re enjoying it, I know you’ve been sucked in for a while now, but as I’m sure you’ve discovered, this is the chapter that hooks everyone who wasn’t all in yet

@@RitaKamishiro Also, this heart to heart was available in the last chapter. Doing it actually hints at Mythra's existance if you pick the "Rex option". In that version, Pyra again repeats what Poppi says, all timid like, and holding her arms in front because it's a line about "Serving Master Rex". Tora then says that's not good enough, so Pyra puts her hands on her hips and repeats the line, agressively and matter-of-factly, like Mythra would. It's probably the biggest hint to Mythra's existance other than when people who knew the Aegis from 500 years ago talk openly about Pyra being different now. Essentially, similar to the cutscene where Pyra talks about her past with Malos, there are lines where she "channels Mythra" and talks like her because it's her "sister's" feelings coming through. In both the English and JP dub there is only a single actress playing "twins", but while in the original the actress gives Mythra a very different voice, the English VA instead changes her tone, some of her lexicon, and emphasizes different sylables to "talk differently". This makes it less jarring for her to let "Mythra" slip into the line. Example: @2:25:51 Pyra is the one talking about the war 500 years ago, but when she says "I was awakened by a driver..." she means Mythra, and in each line her voice sounds more and more like her, both more forceful but also on the verge of breaking. It ends when she says "I took the form you see now", reverting back to the softer "voice" Pyra normally sounds like as she's now talking about "herself" again.

@@RitaKamishiro That was just a nitpicky point. I also believe 'play as you enjoy.' Plus, you playing great. Experimenting with blade combos, enjoying story and characters. Much better than those combat oriented playthroughs. I meantion exploit so that you know that Stutter step ( left stick flick after an attack) is an exploit. If you want to use it, that's cool. I have no issue with player using it. More so that some old players mention it as a mechanics to new players. As a result new players unknowingly use it and it hurt them mid and late game. Which feel unfair to me.
I like XC2 but it’s the one I’m least likely to talk about or recommend because it comes with the most caveats, the weird fanservice, questionable designs and awkward anime-isms are something you kinda have to roll your eyes and shrug off if they’re not your thing, and I say that as someone who likes anime and can mostly tolerate fanservice if there’s good stuff underneath.
