Lexiav dropped the music mod because it got copyrighted and we cannot control how many ads the videos get. We avoid playing ads during the videos as much as we can, we aim to only play before and after the video itself!

Well these maps are setup to encourage a play that's alien to normal HoMM 3 style. Dunno why it developed, but I guess veterans grew bored and now everyone are doing it. Still I'd like to see people play more templates or even scenarios where this type of "breaking out" would be disastrous compared to building up cities and economy.
It's refreshing to see someone enjoy the game they play so much. That 8,8,8,8,8,8 moment for instance. You're also really competitive too. It's just a blast to watch.

its all about building your army base on map resoucce ( Wyvern and Angel ). So basically, building town only slow him down.

Lucifer Morningstar the date you get inside treasure zone in jebus cross(map template most people online plays(most streamers i watch)). Mb it also is used in other templates but i am noobie too.
Three numbers in h3 refers to Month Week Day of the game, and break is going from jebus starting zone to the middle desert treasury. So 113 break = going to middle desert treasury on day 3 of the game, which is really great timing!

what does 113 break means? i don't fully how this works, i don't have this version, i only have the HD one.
Month 1, week 1, day 3.
"Break" on this particular map means you have defeated the strong monster which guards access to the middle section of the map, also called desert. If you get there earlier than opponent, you can develop stronger hero and army. 113 is insanely fast btw
Hey Lexiav, how do you enable the option to see unit's turn below the battle screen?

@@irekkornak8879 I've just checked it again and mine has a combat number log window at the bottom instead of unit's turn order. My hota is 1.6.1. So what's wrong? I've took a look at the option menu and don't see it anywhere.
@@daviddesgagne, in launcher go to "tweaks" tab, find there line "" and change it's value from 0 to 1. It must help.
@@МирославКашеба Thanks friend but I checked this too and saw no line corresponding to this option. Tested some but without finding this feature.
@@daviddesgagne, so the last way is to find file 'hota.ini' and change line '' there. This file is in directory 'Heroes3_HotA/_HD3_Data/Settings' (at least in my PC). You can look out in your PC. Your version of hota should have this line in 'hota.ini' file.
Quick question since you seem to know pretty much all there is to know about the game. :) Do you happen to know which random map templates are most likely to have neutral dragon dwellings on? Thanks.

Hi @Lexiav Thanks for the uploads! I got inspired and tried a Luna-game. But had problem with monsters just waiting out my firewall so I run out of mana and died 😬 What did I do wrong? (I used fire elem against nagas)
You needed to put first wall one hex away from you unit e.g. Not closed wall. If you put closed one two hex units usually waiting it out

Try reducing your source size when starting HD mode
Same problem dude..HD mod blurry in fullscreen. But the blurryness is fixed if I play Hota. With regular Homm 3 and Era, it always blurry in fullscreen.

Not broken, its called nuance. When you have THOUSANDS of things that can be done, there is bound for some strategies to be more powerful than others.
If you started Flux would it be a bad idea to pick luna as a starting hero or? This game just made her look so insanely strong but other Flux heroes can be good too.

Hey man, i am casual h3 player, i like the rpg theme, and i like to back to heroes from times to times, and really wish to improve myself in, but even tho there are many guides, which knight is best, or which bestmaster, i still cant find nice and wide guide, what thoes titles actually represent.
Lexiav made lots of Tier lists about that. But generally- it depends on what game you play. If you play fast game like this multiplayer- you want a hero with good starting skills, plus good class. But if you play casual- then, usually, top might heroes are the best (armor, attack, logistics specialty).
What do you mean when you say you're super close to being able to break?
If I'd wager a guess it means that he will break out of his starting area by defeating the powerful stack of neutral creatures that is preventing him from exploring the rest of the map
Hey guys, I have read that it is possible to cheat in HotA Multiplayer games. Problem is that I mostly play with a friend and the KI is killing us in late game. Can you tell me how it works? The basic cheats don’t work

It's a Horn of the Abyss feature! On the online lobby you just tick it on and it's that simple :)

Hey! This is the latest HotA version universally used to play online by most people. Diplo is nerfed to 50% joiners and you have to pay everytime, no free joiners. There were no Luna nerfs throughout the history of the game tho, as far as i know.
@@Lexiav odd..my Luna has 2 tile firewall instead of 3. Makes it impossible to do these strategies. Maybe im doing something wrong

Depends on template. In jebus cross as lonng as you are denying the opp then you are kind of fine. Not to mention i did build that great eov too.
He can use Luna late game too (specialties become less of a difference late game some exceptions intelligence or offence specialists) and if she has Town Portal and DD no he won't need another hero (if playing against computer).

How you make AI separate unit stacks? If they would've come in a single stack they would've won most of the battles.
Hey! The split of opponents is based on your army compared to the army youre attacking. The higher your army is compared to theirs, the less they will be split. So if youre going around with a single fast unit, the opponents will always be split.

When j try to firewall the enemies just defend, so game goes nowhere, how come?

May be speed of your units were less than champions. If so they def and wait until your wall disappears. And for 2 hex units such as camps, cerberus, vyverns you have to use open wall or double wall instead of closed wall.

What I dislike about Hota is, when you can fly you can't stealing artefacts anymore, why they make it like that? In the name of balance? In almost perfect improvement of the game, it ruined the fun alot! If they want perfectly balanced game, they should just playing chess.
I maybe understand some of your frustration when it comes to single player, but even back in Shadow of Death, before hota, in most online games there used to rules that would force you to fight missplaced guards. And even in HotA there are some anarchy templates that end up having some of these missplaced guards if you want to play with them. Think HotA polishing the game up in this way, while leaving options for the chaos was a healthy thing to do from most sides.

This is using very primitive ai against itself - same like quicksand and champions charge or infinite kiting with dragon flies - instead new content in hota they should focus to make AI much smarter so no situation like this would have occured.
Try playing chess against stockfish, it's a perfectly balanced game you play against perfect AI.
@@Danumurti18 in heroes 5 ai is smarter and even duplicates army meaning suddenly in 1 week after you defeated hero with same army to you it has army from several weeks, don't compare chess where numbers of scenario are limited and machine knows all against game where rng can screw you hard (like on -1 morale having it 9 times in row). As for chess reference imagine that 3000 rank player make mistake of 100 ranked player, and keeps repeating it over and over.

I like how he grimaches each time he get bad morale, its obviously because he stacks so many factions armies into an army. 3 different units is -3 and that's about 70% chance of bad morale or something crazy like that. Still wouldn't be able to compete with him, but its just funny.
it's at least 2 years old, so I expect you either don't play anymore, or already know (and know more than me), but 3 different factions in units is only -1 morale (1 faction is +1, 2 is no effect)
