I use lidia because I used her in 7 and my friend/rival uses reina. He’s not the type to look at high level play because he wants to “find his own playstyle” while im the opposite. I look up combos, setups, anything that i can learn from the top players. We’re both in red ranks, both garyus but have a bit more points than he does. I just hope he comes around one day and just looks up some stuff because ik he can be alot better.
I have a friend just like this, I'm more advanced at fighting games due to me having played them awhile and I have more knowledge on things. He's younger than me but he picks up things quick and he has a higher ceiling than me, but his issue is that he refuses to look into combos, setups, proper character knowledge stuff on his own. They'll eventually come around lol, for both our sakes.
they'll be the ones people would search for eventually, but if there's one thing I learned, it's if you want to find your own style, you got to master the fundementals first

Press at the wrong time and you could be counter hit into a combo. All of the mishimas and a few other characters can do it As for the second question it’s likely part of her stance which gives her access to a stronger version of whatever move it’s tied to. Eddy,Leo,Claudio,asuka also have a symbol below their names for the same thing
@@Hitsu-Santhe counter is Heaven and Earth. Whenever she does her Heat Smash, you see the strikes a pose with one hand up and one down, that’s it. She only gets access to attacks that have it during Heat, and every time she uses it, it costs less heat (until a max of 3). The attacks that come from that stance are ridiculously powerful (among them, a super fast high unblockable, and a safe mid launcher)
Reina gains acces for 3 essential moves while wave dashing which is electric wind god fist, high -13 launcher, if executed correctly +4 or +5 on block I don't really remember. A rising kick hits Mid and hellsweep can goes into another mixup. So why people respect it? Its a Rock scissor paper, you can interrupt it or launch it by disrespecting it, you can try to guess and block, minus is you can be launched while disrespecting or you can get hit by guessing wrong. Thats a mind game depends on both sides. I usually disrespect some with mid has quick execute frames

Being an incredibly sore loser, racist and toxic but she was always known for this. That one time it just happened to be him when she lost to Shadow in a tourney when he was playing Kazuya. After he was told of it, he went public about it and she was banned from competing. In other words, they have nothing to do BUT play online. You're just not ever going to recover from doing something like they did

She isn’t broken or anything but she’s a solid character maybe some slight tweaks but she doesn’t really need any crazy buffs
