MashAllah, I converted to Islam many years ago .I went with my husband for Hajj it was so overwhelming and I cried a lot.
I felt so peaceful, I have never felt like that. It's also because so many people are praying. I am still thankful that I had the opportunity .

It’s very emotional watching your video. We did Umrah with our kids last Ramadan. What’s amazing is that you feel like you belong there, like you’re not a foreigner. I guess it’s because Allah invites us there. ❤❤
I don't know why but I keep rewatching this. I'm not even muslim, but it's so beautiful seeing all that people just focused on their spiritual path! It's so peaceful. I wish I could experience that feeling.

Just FYI - If you arrive in Mecca first, you are supposed to be in a state of Ihram on the flight as you would pass the Miqat point in the air (there is an announcement on the flight when you approach the point). Masjid Aisha is the Miqat point for locals and those doing their 2nd, 3rd umrah etc.
We from asia miqat in flight with proper in ihram in when we pass qarni manazil.
This is the issue with 'Muslim influencers' documenting everything, viewers will just think it's fine and make major mistakes in their acts of worship
I am not Muslim but I do agree it would be nice if America could recognize prayer times for people in some way but I thought this was beautiful and thank you for sharing I loved learning from you two ❤❤❤

Mashallah. I went for hajj 10 years ago and found out that I was pregnant the first week we got there. Alhamdullilah we were able to go back with our son when he was 5 yo. For umrah. I love that feeling when you first see the Kabba. I couldn’t help but cry also.

Dear Leena, i really watched it with tears. I went one time for umrah with my mother en brothers. It was the most beautiful experience of my life. Now everytime i watch someone went to Mekka i cry. Ma Shaa Allah, a beautiful video. Please do be aware (and share with your viewers also) that Masjid Aisha is a miqat point for locals who live in and around Makkah, for those travelling from abroad, you should use the miqat you pass in the airspace (the airlines will make an announcement when you are about to pass this). If you want to perform a second Umrah, you need to travel to another miqat (not Masjid Aisha, as you are not locals so this would not be a miqat for you). May Allah SWT accept all our efforts!
As long as you are in Makka, doing a second ummrah (for someone else) , the miqaat will be Masjid Aisha. You don't have to be a local there. Of course the first one, the miqaat depends on where you are coming from. If you are on an international flight, it is announced as you have stated.

Leena this is soo amazing, masha allah I am from India and when I went for my Umrah in 2015 I had the same experience. The moment I saw Kaaba I burst into tears 😢 😭 and it was such a surreal experience.

The best time to do Tawaf I found is around 2:00 am. The crowd is less and you focus more 🕋❤️
I went to Umrah when I was 7 years old. It was the most beautiful trip in my entire life, Although I don't remember much 😂,but I was very comfortable and I didn't get tired.The first time I saw the kaaba I was impressed and happy. I wish I could go again. May Allah accept your Umrah♥

We went in December, the first time my children have been - I'm so grateful to Allah that He gave us the opportunity to share such an amazing experience with the ones I love the most. I feel for Omar, my son too had beautiful shoulder length hair and he had it shaved off too (luckily we went to a nearby barbers as I don't think I'd manage it myself!) there'll be so much reward In-sha-Allah for ur sacrifice
Top tip for future umrah especially Sa'ee - buy some new flipflops or similar comfortable footwear (especially for children) and wear those during sa'ee as near the top of the mounts where the tiles are rough for grip it becomes paibful And upstairs levels are level and smooth so easier to manage.

May Allah grant you strength to wear abaya full time. I started after my first Umrah. My aunt said to me make a commitment to change at least one thing for good and for deen when you go. And I have not looked back. Dressing down for public is peaceful.

Asia has largely muslims, like Bangladesh, india, Pakistan has majority muslim and you feel the same. Maximum people here wear hijab. In bangladesh, where i live, you'll hardly find someone wearing any short dress or any men or women wearing clothes that aren't approved by islam. In bangladesh and i think same for india or Pakistan or Afghanistan or other muslim countries of asia, there is mosques everywhere. Like shopping mall or anywhere else.So it feels good and i might not understand how you feel staying in a country with minor muslims. But I'd definitely tell you to visit bangladesh or Pakistan. You'll feel much better. And to visit bangladesh, definitely sylhet. Sylhet is called little london sometimes.
