Trains During CPKC's First Summer

In June 2023, I spent some time along the CPKC (former CP) mainline in Illinois and Wisconsin capturing trains on the newly merged Class 1 railroad. Most scenes were shot in Gurnee and Rondout, Illinois, but I also included a quick crossing shot from Hartland, Wisconsin. I enjoyed seeing an influx in KCS motive power mixed in with the normal Canadian Pacific units. The yearly weed spraying train even had a KCS SD70MAC! Along with the regular Amtrak and Metra trains, I've also included some clips of Metra GP23ECO #11 messing around at Rondout.

Nice video of CPKC trains on the former Canadian Pacific mainline at Rondout and Gurnee, Illinois plus the train that you caught in Hartland, Wisconsin, Sam! Thank you for adding the work that Metra GP23ECO #111 was performing at Rondout, Illinois. This is the first time I have seen that engine.
