Is there a written pattern anywhere? I am struggling so much trying to figure out what I should be doing when I finish a row, I wish there was some written information to clarify this, it is really difficult to follow as is
I watched a video on how to do the moss stitch in the round and that really helped me understand how I am meant to end and begin a new row. I watched one by desert bloom crafts and I really like the way that she does it and it takes all of the second guessing out of it.
No back-and-firth rows.Rows are by adding +1st at end of row,START NEW ROW BY CONTINUE TO CROCHET 2sts in 1st loop only ON UNDERSIDE of foundation chain, and continue SPIRALING -- add a stitch at corner for next few toes for ease. Then just continue on🧶
I thought i'm the only one that can't understand this as the instruction is not really clear.. perhaps, may you give us a written pattern if it is not troublesome 🥺👉🏻👈🏻

Hello, the needle she is using is a darning needle, it is also called a tapestry needle or a yarn needle. You can use a bobby pin if you don't have a darning needle but it will be more frustrating to use. And to your other question about the stitch, this bag is mainly the moss stitch, also called the linen, granite, or woven stitch. The other videos on the channel use a different stitch- I am a beginner too but I have heard a lot of great things about the moss stitch because it is easy to learn and fun to do so I am going to be following this video instead of any of her other phone bag videos. I wish you luck! :)
This took me forever to figure out!! So because the moss stitch (the stitch she is using for the body of the bag) alternates from sc and chaining the way she begins a new row alternates from starting with a chain or starting with a sc. At the end of row two she slip stitches into a sc, so she begins the third row in a sc. she then chains one for height, and the second chain is to "pass over the sc" and then she sc in to the space left by the chain one and continues the pattern. At the end of row 3 she slip stitches into a gap left by the chain one, so she begins the fourth row in a gap, so she chains one for height because it is a new row and then sc because she is in the gap and that is where she is starting the pattern. I hope you this see and make the bag, I have been struggling with this for the same reason and it is finally time to conquer it!
I can relate to you, when i first learned how to crochet i find it hard for me to crochet and at the same time watch the video and pause. But from my experience i just watch the same part on repeat . It’s hard but with more practices you will get better in time

At the end of the row, you do a slip stitch to finish the row, chain 1 to start a new row
Beautiful
Excellent presentation, excellent video

4 onwards) repeat rows 2 and 3 until desired height.
Thank you so much🥰♥️
I made the wrong assumption that I just carry on doing the same stitch from row 5 and my phone bag got bigger and bigger :D
Me too!! I’m not sure what I did wrong
Me too - I kept on repeating it
So do we keep repeating it? 1sc 1 ch skip 1 then repeat 1sc 1ch skip 1?
Make sure after 3rd row that you're doing sc into the ch1 gaps you made in the previous row. If you can't see tha gaps you can feel where they are.
Very beautiful; thank you❤
Love this pattern but what yarn and needle do you use?
Yo tejí para mí un bolsito así, y creo que es más sencillo tejer en espiral, porque es mucho lío al terminar una vuelta e iniciar la siguiente...

is there a pattern to make the bag straight? mines splitting like its on different angle,
Beautiful..if I want to make a wider bag then how many foundation chain?

How much meters of thread you needed for this??
4 ply yarn is available on that?
Ugh. After getting to the pary at the end of the 16 chain I can’t even get the crochet hook back through the chain, it just looks messy and falls aoart
Yarn is cotton milk 5 ply and a 3.5mm hook
From where can I get the milk cotton yarn?
Shopee🥰
😮😮😮😢🎉😊😊
Is 5 ply fine, light, or medium? I’m from the US, I’m wondering if the yarn group might be different!
it is a sport weight yarn if that helps. thicker than baby yarn, but thinner than 8 ply (double knitting yarn). try google if all else fails.

can i know the reason you use different ways to end a row? i notice after slip stich follows either by 2 ch, or 1ch+sc.
