Lots of good kids stuck in addiction. If this kid wasn't on drugs, he would be going through school and working...if you watch this channel regularly, a few, if any, of Michael's regulars get sober and off the street..
Stephen is def my favorite and its been tough seeing him through the years constantly struggling. But my guess is he's also struggling internally with some things that is not allowing him to get out of his minor set back. But I believe in time, it will finally hit him that he's had enough of that life and finally gets his head straight. Also sad that he keeps losing his skateboards. Thanks Mike for the update on him, I always worry about this young man and if he's still around.
I love what you do for homeless people I was homeless until a guy paid for me and my dog an apartment and helped me get my disability and now I help homeless people when I see them
@@Magazinelady I know...I sold my home and COVID hit...I had not worked as a PCA in 5 years due to undiagnosed illness. Nobody would rent to me or even take me in after I housed the homeless for many years . I lived in my car for two months. I lived it...I had money & it still happened to me. But I woke up every morning to the cutest little red squirrel putting on a show just for me every morning. I made lemonade out of my situation...I was content in where God had me...I was blessed in my mess 💕😘💕

Ur such a good guy 😊when I was homeless I would put the strap of one backpack over my shoe..one under my head and never,ever take my shoes off..only before sleep would I air my feet for 20 30 mins..then change socks n shoes go back on.. personally I never had a problem but I was a pretty light sleeper 2..
You are a saint! 45 years ago I remember picking up the cot in the single men’s hostel,so I could put my boots under the legs. So as I slept they couldn’t get stolen

Its like he got some good luck right after you went and got him stuff, so cool! now he is hooked up for a little while at least. Imagine loosing everything including your shoes to start the day so glad he has a few pairs now.

I would love to go on a ride along with you someday, Michael. You're an earthly angel and brighten up the faces of the homeless. I'm trying to help someone so that they don't becoming houseless. He took care of his elderly mother 24/7 for 25 years (his mother recently passed away). Now he has to find a job and a place to live.
Michael you gave that young man some hope and like lesson about the street. Also you gave him some hope that will help him. For some hope is the only thing humans have left in a day.

Take care of yourself Michael. There’s such a thing as compassion fatigue. I’m involved in animal welfare and I tend to suffer from it constantly.
Dogs help a lot to protect persons and property. The bigger the dog, the more of a deterrent.
