As Fr. Bergoglio, PF loved to modify the Novus Ordo just as Jesuit Reece recommends that we do. He invited a couple to do the tango in the sacristy as a art of his Mass. sheen seems to enjoy the hippie element that became incorporated into the NO Masses such as the passing of peace ✌️ as the consecrated host awaits us in the altar. What an irreverent distraction thst I wish they’d change. Maybe move it to the Confetior st the beginning of Msss? Please add back a resounding AMEN to the Our Father as it’s typically dropped from each Our Father when we pray the Our Father with the rosary. Some people believe or was meant to be dropped from every Our Father! No need. Add it back to the Our Father at Mass, please..
I attend holy mass daily before work at a diocesan parish. On sundays I attend fssp. At the diocesan parish that I attend daily, the pastor is solid, the liturgy is reverent, the people are not chatty and many of us ladies veil. The diocesan church is gorgeous. It is a brand new church building, and looks like a beautiful church that one would find in old Europe or Rome. Marble floors, tradtional paintings on the ceiling and sanctuary. A high altar. A traditional baptismal font. The pastor uses some Latin in the holy liturgy and this is a diocesan parish. The pain I feel in my heart is from the negative comments and judgment on diocesan parishes from some at the fssp parishes who say the N.O. parish mass is not valid because of changes that were made and changes to the ordination of priests ect... and so they say they would never attend a diocesan parish. Priests like Fr. Altman and. Fr. Heilman have been saying reverent N.O. liturgies for years. Would I like every liturgy to be traditional? Yes. I support good and holy priests that are trying to do their part to offer a holy liturgy within a diocese. Thankfully the bishop here is allowing the Latin mass (fssp) and the continuation of some diocesan parishes to offer a Latin mass and for some diocesan priests to continue to learn the Latin mass. Oh I forgot to add, that the diocesan parish also has a beautiful communion rail and people receive Holy communion on their knees unless they are elderly and cannot.
@@bwhennes it wasn’t created by Protestants, that was officially clarified in an official document in the early 70s, As for bugnini , Even if he had bad intentions, Those defects are healed when the Pope approved it , When the Pope speaks officially he speaks as Christ wants in spite of any shenanigans that take place . Do I not have a right to the theology and understanding of Catholic faith and Catholic spiritual beliefs that the good nuns and priests taught me in the 30s and 40s?
I would encourage you to look at things from a slightly different perspective. When it comes to the Mass, it's not about us. It's about the worship of God. It's quite obvious the TLM is superior to the NO in almost every way. Vatican II and the NO have been permitted by God to test and strengthen the faithful and purify the Church from the idolatry of the desire for human respect. This is a test, hopefully one of the last, before God helps return the Church to Her former splendor and even greater glory. Focusing on one's "rights" in this situation is understandable but, IMO, actually stems from the diabolical "spirit of Vatican II" that is rooted in idolatry. The NO mass is valid because Christ promised not to abandon us, but that doesn't mean God likes it and I am confident He will restore order and rightful worship of him soon.
@@eugeniusbear2297 Yes, I agree. In my diocese the "leaders" are full on N.O. No TLM is said but one small parish that can hold 50 to 100 people and the old parishioners get first seating. Very difficult situation. Pray for us in these places.
Compelling contention... There is a lineage of the Apostolic See to Peter, there is a lineage of each bishop to a particular Apostle, but there is no lineage of the NO liturgy as there is for the Rite of Mass promulgated by John XXIII. If you derive authority from lineage, how is the new, imagined NO the singular, highest, most authoritative form of worship?
Do the liturgists of the NO rite have to cite their sources for interpretation of their rite? This sounds a lot like trying to trace a family tree when you have little or no information to go on besides last name.
Just pounding the table and saying "respect muh authoritaaaayyy!" seems to be the most common response to the question. It's the same response cult leaders and dictators give.
Answer=it's not. The NO mess and its accompanying rites (Holy Orders, Extreme Unction, etc.) are inventions. They are in essence Schismatic from what came before. The Pope cannot invent New Rites. The problem has been compounded when Benedict declared that the TLM was never abrogated. That was an admission that the NO rites were in fact novelties. Big problem.
SPOT ON... when Fr. Ripperger points out in the beginning that to be a custodian means to protect what isn't your own AND to pass it on to those who come after you. An ultimate irony+ insult too is that Francis wants to suppress and NOT pass on the universal Rite of worship-Immemorial Latin Mass, which dates back to Pope Saint Gregory the Great and before-that has been handed down from saints and popes from centuries past. The >hubris< of JorgeB. in thinking he knows better THAN ALL the popes, saints and Doctors of the Church >combined< IS beyond over-the-top twisted. Even his modern- in-sync-with-VatII predecessor, Benedict XVI stated that the Traditional Latin Mass was NEVER abrogated; and, essentially, that to do so was beyond the authority of a pope to do such a thing. The rosary is "the weapon!" said Padre Pio. So... so many we need to pray....
This document is organized such that the Traditional mass is prevented to expand and thus to die out by itself. No new priest to be ordained without the permission from Rome...! I am anxious to see how many permission will be given to the SSP to have their seminarians ordained.
Would anybody that is willing to add me to their rosary daily, please pray for me to get 2 long term, xlnt, happy, caregivers...permanently?.I have a very hard time accomplishing this. Yes...when a Pope trys to scatter the flock and lash out at the loyal faithful lambs...something is wrong. With him and the clergy who helped put all this together. Even an uneducated layman like me can see this is not from GOD, not morally any how at the very least.
@@Justinsplace I think it's time to investigate everything this Pope and clergy around him have been playing at...in there actions and words.. to test there spirit.
@@markadams8673 i couldn't understand that. Fr. Ripperger I think it wss: the Mass cimes frim Christ, who gave to the Apostles, who gave it to the priests. It's like saying Christ didn't mean it when He said St. Peter was the Rock upon which He'd build His Church.
Watch our for Traditionis Custodes II coming soon according to an Italian newspaper - more draconian than the first because too many bishops ignored the first. I have a feeling the rosary will be included in the further stricter restrictions. Blessed Mother Mary intercede for us!
The Sixth Commandment applies only in some circumstances, depending on the "complexities" of people's lives. Traditionis Custodes applies to everyone, everywhere, forever.
A minute 34:00 the priest also used the example of the Carmelite Rite to explain even there is only one part that is different from the Roman Rite it is another Rite. Indirectly he pointed out the lie of Benedict Xvi who invented the theory of two forms within the Roman Rite. Bergoglio is absolutely right that TLM is not valid anymore if the Novus Ordo Rite is not a schismatic Rite. Condemn Vatican II religion then everything is clear.
Let me see if I get this straight. A rite needs three things: an offertory, a canon, and the communion of the priest. The novus ordo has almost no offertory and rarely a canon. The only thing that makes it legit is the communion of the priest! It is only a fragment of a rite!
Yvette S... and it's only legit/valid if the priest unites with "the mind of the Church"... because nothing in the Novus Ordo explicitly states that a true sacrifice is being offered. Those prayers were removed so the NO mass wouldn't be so offensive to non-Catholics.
I believe that God wants us to worship Him, the way we did before Vatican II. I don't think Mass was supposed to get as crazy as it has, in some places. It is time for us to do as Ryan said, and really dedicate every day, from the moment we awaken to the time we close our eyes, to our Lord, & to show Him this is the way we want to worship Him.
Thank God that Archbishop Lefebvre remained a faithful son of the Church when 'aggiornamento Rome' began gaslighting and exiling 'eternal Rome' and carpet bombing parishes with defiling practices and false teachings.
“Única “ in Spanish explicitly means the same; hence, the Romance languages will has the same grammar and precise meanings with many words emphasized in statements

I wish I could find a traditional mass that isn't 100 miles away! It's what I grew up in and I still miss it. My father was an angry trad. He came from a deeply religious French Canadian family then after Vat 2 felt betrayed and became an atheist and the fall out was terrible for us.
The Pope is The Pope, no Christian would laugh at him. Satan also uses Latin in his sacrilegious rites and even mocks it in the works of harry potter… and he has an even bigger laugh when Catholics dress up for Halloween
Sacrifice of Praise (Liturgy of the Word) is also now directed toward the people? It's funny how the nomenclature informs our understanding of what we should be doing... Words structure our thinking, and right prayer ensures right belief. Lex orandi, lex credendi!
Like " My soul doth MAGNIFY the Lord vs GLORIFY" Douay vs NAB and RSV. ...What word means to clarify and to bring into sharper focus through the Soul of the Blessed Virgin and which has an ecumenical tone?... Or " The Almighty has done Great things TO me" vs. "FOR me." which one weakens the Dogma of The immaculate conception? Modern"Expert" translators not only believe they know more than their predecessors, they also as fallen human beings have preferential perspective. I'll take my English Bible Douay Reims if you please? If you get the chance read the Preface to the "New American Bible" not to mention Psalm 22 getting moved to 23. Wonder why??

Steve, Things are changing so fast that a post WITHOUT A DATE RECORDED IN THE TITLE makes it almost just more YT JUNK to look at if time should arise. Fr Ripperger is the only reason this did not hit the "dumpster" If Frank was on fire in front of me, the best that I would do is write a letter to 911.
Ok, the last 10 minutes of this discussion needs to be distilled into a formal publication. I think the nail has been finally hit on the head. [1] Fr Ripperger has often remarked how some Trads tend to have a problem with 6th Commandment because God allows them to be humiliated due to their underlying sin of Pride. [2] Now it seems God is allowing persecutions of Trads to occur in such a manner as to elicit Obedience from them. This latest shenanigan from Francis actually plays into the direct will of God. It will in its effect, purge the Traditional movement of those who lack trust in Christ's promise that the Gates of Hell shall not prevail against his bride the Church. [3] Fr Ripperger's point @1:46:29 about how the longer a liturgy is part of the rite, it reflects the will of God .....is a great and highly relevant point. It helped me realize the following. [3.1] God made us for worship. He hates the Novus Ordo....I mean absolutely hates it. That's why he isn't answering our prayers for its reform. He wants it to crash and burn. Its inherently evil if for nothing else than the Priest turning his back on God and focusing on the people. The Novus Ordo is an insult to God and detrimental to the faithful. [4] I think I have begun to understand God's involvement in Vatican II. The "Spirit of Vatican II" is rooted in a form of idolatry - the desire for human respect by the members of the Church and hierarchy. We see this reflected in the NO liturgy and we especially see this reflected in the inane push for ecumenism. We are at that point in salvation history, however, where God wants the Church to be emphatic in its proclamation of the Gospel. To make this happen he is using Vatican II and the Novus Ordo to separate the wheat from the chaff (on both side - because God is brilliant.) [5] Covid actually plays a vital part of the later stages of this plan. All you have to do is attend one TLM (which is all I have) to immediately understand that it is a sacrifice, and a human sacrifice at that. It's not focused on our needs, nor is it concerned with how it makes us feel. It's sole focus is on worshipping the Creator and offering Him ourselves in thanksgiving. The Novus Ordo, OTOH, has as its primary focus the needs of the created.....that is, after all, why it was created. Its still valid, but that's only because of Christ's promise that he would not abandon the Church. It's not geared toward the worship of God. Those who understand that the sole purpose of the Mass is the worship of God are not going to submit to the state when it says they cannot worship Him, no mater what the reason. Those who do not recognize the sole purpose of the Mass as being the worship of God, but instead view the Mass as being there for the created, they will see no problem in submitting to the state and eventually abandoning the Mass altogether. Covid is the kill-shot for the Novus Ordo. [6] When you see Vatican II, the Novus Ordo and Covid in this light, you understand the need to remain faithful to the Church and resist the actions of the corporate state. In a form of Divine jujitsu, God is using our own rebellions as the tool for purification of the Church and restoration of Her splendor.
''The direct will of God' is never evil. He only permits evil for a greater good. You are ignoring the historical fact that the mindless and faithless obedience of the laity is what allowed the Novus Ordo experiment to deform the church.
The "conciliar church" could never understand our willingness to offer up our lives for this if necessary because of their total loss of the Traditional Catholic Faith . The same Faith of the Martyrs and Saints from AD 33 - AD 1962. Unfortunately Our Lady did warn that Rome would lose the Faith......
@ryan grant you should check out the 80's move "Catholics" with Martin Sheen. It seems to have been based off the book you were talking about towards the end
The resignation of Pope Benedict XVI was a big loss for the church and the election and reign of Pope Francis further highlights that loss, the pride of Jesuit formation.
I was told that many of the prayers of the Mass where changed by Free Maon Protestants in the 60s. Which is what we know as the Novus Ordo Mass. The Masses I grew up with, having been born in the early 50s, were done in Latin. I had no idea of this history till a very reputable Doctor of theology talked about it.
Question? I am a little old country priest in the mountains, can I start saying the traditional Latin Mass in my Rectory chapel? Does canon law protect me?
The Late Father Richard McBrien refused to deny the DaVinciCode smear that Jesus was married to Mary Magdalene, when interviewed on National Television. I remember he mischievously smiled knowingly.

I don’t understand Fr Ripperger. I remember a sermon he made saying that we should not worry or « preoccupy ourselves with what goes on in the Captain’s cabin »! So what has changed? Pray tell, why is it that this time we should take notice? Rome is in apostasy, what is there to expect but much more of the same? So why now do we need to get preoccupied? 🙏🏼
@1:00:00 - Correction requested: the Anglican Ordinariate is a combination of the Anglican Rite and the Novus Ordo. They use the Novus Ordo readings and calendar. I've experienced Novus Ordo, TLM, and Anglican Ordinariate. And the Anglican Ordinariate is definitely closer to Novus Ordo than the TLM.
Is this document, perhaps, a provocation to (righteous) anger, such that the "mercy" shown by the pontiff toward we who "need time to return" will give way to formal abrogation of the rite? In other words: "We tried to be understanding while you were coming around to the truth of the l'unica essprezione that we have established BUT you can't seem to handle that, so for the unity of the Church we must outright tell you: It's abrogated!"
ARB Lefebvre knew and told us in 1988 that Rome didn’t want « this thing « at all....! That is why he saw the danger to the priesthood and the Holy Sacrifice of the Holy Mass! I am glad this is happening because things in Rome are getting clearer!

How can something that is part of the long-standing tradition of the church ever be abrogated? The Pope is not a dictator. He is not free to erase tradition or the Mass of the Ages. It is not his to depose.
The “Peronista Pope” is so confusing which creates insecurity among his family, as we seek direction of our papa. (Habanus Papa is announced upon the selection of every new pope.). This “papa” is much like a dad gone alcoholic or is suffering Alzheimer’s. We wish to be respectful, but know he is sooo wrong. It’s abusive. We must cling together, remain in God’s Grace, the Remnant, the True Church which is appalled by the anti Church who happen to be currently the upper management appointments made by Pope Francis. -Cdls Farrell who is to care for matters upon the death of the pope;, Joseph Tobin as Supreme Court Justice and appointer of new bishops; homosexualist Jesuit James Martin as Director of Communications; Cupich; Wilton Gregory; Bsp McElroy, even the victim of sex abuse, Juan Cruz is to meet w/ other victims. When he admitted acting out on his homosexual tendencies, the pope told him “It’s okay to be gay. God Msgr you that way.” Lord, have mercy. Save souls. Don’t rationalize sin!! Cruz could have overcome his SSA which likely arise as a result of abuse at a young age, could have been helped through Courage procedures and would have found redemption and healing. This pope ignores helping folks to seek salvation, ignores God Almighty..
That is disparaging Dictators. Popes ought to be Monarchs but even more Godly, not God obviously.

Do I not have a right to the theology and understanding of Catholic faith and Catholic spiritual beliefs that the good nuns and priests taught me in the 30s and 40s?
Yes is the short and best answer, because you were taught the stuff from the Apostles and hence Jesus himself God bless
Ich Danke dir. Gott beschuetze uns von der Teufelslehre

Bingo!
Taking on flack…you’re over the target.
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and providing encouragement when we don’t know where to turn.

SPOT ON...

The priest has a right to the Immemorial Custom of his rite. The form of his sacraments. This is an extension of the decrees of Trent.
@@danpan001 it does simplify everything
Let me see if I get this straight. A rite needs three things: an offertory, a canon, and the communion of the priest. The novus ordo has almost no offertory and rarely a canon. The only thing that makes it legit is the communion of the priest! It is only a fragment of a rite!
Yvette S... and it's only legit/valid if the priest unites with "the mind of the Church"... because nothing in the Novus Ordo explicitly states that a true sacrifice is being offered. Those prayers were removed so the NO mass wouldn't be so offensive to non-Catholics.

Fr Ripperger is the only reason this did not hit the "dumpster" If Frank was on fire in front of me, the best that I would do is write a letter to 911.
Rite on, Fr. Ripperger.
To make this happen he is using Vatican II and the Novus Ordo to separate the wheat from the chaff (on both side - because God is brilliant.)
[5] Covid actually plays a vital part of the later stages of this plan.
@@soniamartin2007 I'm not ignoring that. I'm assuming it for the most part, but not trying to be an arrogant ass about it. We are the liaty.

In other words:
"We tried to be understanding while you were coming around to the truth of the l'unica essprezione that we have established BUT you can't seem to handle that, so for the unity of the Church we must outright tell you: It's abrogated!"
ARB Lefebvre knew and told us in 1988 that Rome didn’t want « this thing « at all....! That is why he saw the danger to the priesthood and the Holy Sacrifice of the Holy Mass! I am glad this is happening because things in Rome are getting clearer!
