Adrian is miles ahead of everyone in the Major Amplification Range. Boutiques and novelties aside, this man speaks robot-talk to everyone in every interview because he simply does not possess the ignorance to, "dumb down" the information until the interviewer asks him to. I absolutely love the fact that the engineer of my amps (TH30, Tiny-T, and Micro-T) is as advanced and professional as this man. Step up Marshall, Vox, and Fender!!!!
Yeah, make that bass and a guitar too! I dont love everything that Orange has done. The "Terrors" aren't my thing.. BUT.. We guitarists are always looking for our tonal identity. This industry is is really based on that search. I think that Orange is uniquely one of those few company's who can actually deliver something that has been approached so differently that players will actually be able to find that uncharted tonal space somewhere. One of my all time favorite guitar tones ever gotten by anyone anywhere at any time was the tone that Weezer got on that first major release... and Im not even talking about the lead. That beautiful deep crunch they got on those rhythm tracks really gave those tunes their "rock credibility"... thanks to the magic of a perfectly voiced Orange amp. Im sure that someone knows details about that amp. Comment if you do. I also like that Orange doesnt do the "bandwagon" thing. They have stuck to analog in their value priced lined because they believe in the technology behind it. I tend to agree especially in terms of the musicality of the tones it produces. I guess that if I had a wish for an Orange product, I'd ask them to take a Princeton clean and drop that Weezer amp on top it. Thanks
+Cj Schneider Like... its so bad... Whatever. Just because all the taste you got is in your mouth, its no reason to include me in your deficiency's. Have a nice Day.
+Cj Schneider Mr. CJ, Are you seriously telling me what to listen to? Is your musical perspective so expansive that it encompasses the entire universe and pushes all others out? Let me explain something to you Professor Pickle Head. I am an autonomous being. A free man. I'm reasonably intelligent. My comprehension skills are high, and I form my own opinions based on my life experiences using those tools. I promise you. I will never ever require the services of some RUclips Fuck-Tard Troll like yourself to form and deliver those opinions for me. I like what I like. I respect what I respect. I listen to what the fuck I want to... and fuck you in your neck. If you have a problem with any of the above? Its your problem. Enjoy it.
Great sounding amps. I own the AD 200 MK 3 Bass amp and it is a wonderful thing. Built like a tank and has withstood years of constant club gigging with aplomb. Very interested in the OB1 and I really appreciate that he is not dumbing down the tech side of things. I for one love it when a company doesn't treat me like some brain dead customer. If I don't fully comprehend what he is saying I take that as signal to read up on the subject and learn a little something.
Just acquired an O-bass. Absolutey loving this bass. I'm a Pbass guy and like chunky necks, so it's right up my ally. I agree - the Obass has a growly tone.
Adrian starts talking technical and I just see his words flying over every non-electronics guru's heads. I really like the bass sound though. Having a good overdrive on there really helps with the flexibility of the unit plus a relatively simply EQ that actually works. I just wish they could make a valve version that was affordable (as in less that £600 so that non-pros might have half a chance of owning one).
Yes!!! please make the bass,...do a 5 and 6 string HH mahogany. Now that you guys have mentioned it, I will remind/bother Orange Amp about this creation from time to time.
Already have a beautiful Orange amp, would love to see that cable come to market though, really nice idea as I'm constantly pivoting on stage whilst playing! At a competitive price I'm sure many like myself would pick one up ASAP
I want the bass. Wish it had a maple fret board option. Hate to lose that cool neck to a generic custom but gotta have that maple "baank" not the rosewood "boovv". The bass amps are sick, the gain is perfect for me.
Yes make the bass and the cord coupler! Also I was curious on the bi-amping coming out of the amp. Does it have two outputs one clean and one dirty, or is it all premixed and comes out all in one? Thanks.
i can't help but say this, that guy has maybe the most badass cool sounding English accent I've ever heard! Guy needs to be a voice actor... or SOMETHIN.
Love the Bass and the Amps but I think the Cable is pure genius! It could change the world as we know it IF it is introduced at a decent price point... A 20' cable going for $50 - $75 is total BS! Introduce it at $20 - $25 and you will rule the market.
Killer tone. And I was thinking, why didn't I come up with that cable idea? It had the potential to be industry standard for any sort of long cable I think.
Great sounding amps. Analogue solid state is preferable to digital modeling in most applications I think. Also, you should DEFINITELY make the bass guitar, it looks fantastic!
Well the HD500 is still pretty reasonably priced, and does a reasonable job. Software is cheap too (Pod Farm, Positive Grid Bias etc) but impractical for live use. Hardware modelers like the Axe FX are way out of most player's budgets though, and also require expensive power amps (same as the HD500) to get running, wheras something cheaper like an analogue solid state amp carries it's own power. I was always disappointed by digital modeling amps like the Line 6 Spider, they always sounded unrealistic to me. Can't beat the flexibility of a digital amp though.
helloman221 Totally agree. I'm genuinely thinking about getting the 35RT and using the 4CM with my HD500. It just sounds so good. I have no doubts about the power of modelling. It's the future. One day, the valves will run out or be too expensive and digital emulation or solid state will be the only viable options, but they way digital modelling is at the moment? Give it a few years and you won't be able to tell the difference :) (BTW, I recorded a song with only EZMix and POD farm and honestly, I've fooled so-called "experts" with it :) soundcloud.com/corrosionmedia/mixtest-jan-15)
I personally enjoy valve pre with impulses (for home use at least). Here's an Engl e530 with pod farm cab simulation I made about 3 years ago. soundcloud.com/helloman221/gay-bar-the-macgregors
I don't like how it growls even when clean.. re-bass amp. The cable is a great idea.. however how durable is it if it got tugged on and trod on during a gig?
I just want to know how I can get a job doing this sh!t! And to imagine Ade sitting around playing with diodes and a soldering iron.......blows my mind. Extremely knowledgeable. I love all the details about why the knobs are doing what they're doing......one reason I like Captn and Chappers. Great work guys.
I think that a good video idea is a blind fold shoot out for practice amps. Have different practice amps in a room, be blindfolded, and see which Chappers and Lee prefer and if they can name them
I would buy that bass if the pickguard were different. Perhaps touching the neck. It sounds GREAT, love everything about the looks. I'd probably still buy it and just change it something custom myself
Crunch? Crush yea noisy b*****d! As is the bass amp! Would definitely consider buying one of them! The swively lead very cool idea! Sometimes leads drive me mental?! And the Bass guitar.. I'm with you Lee Black on Orange for the win! haha
That guitar has got to be something to do with Oli Brown! I know he always plays a Vanquish but for some reason I cant find any link that puts them both together.
That Crush absolutely screamed Sabbath to me! Best SS tone I have ever heard. Hats off to Orange's engineers.

MASSIVE bass tone. And please go on with producing the O-Bass!
I love that the three of you flew from the UK to the US to have this interview haha
Yes, yes, yes- please make the bass! And the cable attachment too. Best bass sound I've heard in a long while. Thanks for the demo Gents!
Yeah, make that bass and a guitar too!
I dont love everything that Orange has done. The "Terrors" aren't my thing..

Mr. CJ,

Its your problem. Enjoy it.
@Cj Schneider You want to impress RUclips so much. Sad.
@Cj Schneider You're *
@Cj Schneider You don't know what a "fact" is, apparently.
this is the best bass demo ever
This guy is like the lost member of Spinal tap
You're so right. I was waiting for him to say "these go to 11" lol
hahahhaaha
he did mention sustain
I think he said it was a 1959 les paul bass
spartanworria I think it is the new ORANGE bass.
Adrian is an electronic genius!
Holy... I need that Bass ! It sounds so good. I need it now !
Adrian is a great no bollocks involved. Just this is what it is and its not digital. I think that really appeals to a lot of people.
I quite like the bass! Especially at that competitive price!
Great sounding amps. I own the AD 200 MK 3 Bass amp and it is a wonderful thing. Built like a tank and has withstood years of constant club gigging with aplomb. The famous OrangeAid :) rate all of the new products. Cable idea is awesome.
MAKE THE BASS! Short or long scale. I love it.
I saw! It's finally on the website now. That's a sweet little bass.
Yes! That cable is brilliant; I want one! Everything Orange is great and this vid confirms it!
Just acquired an O-bass. Absolutey loving this bass. I'm a Pbass guy and like chunky necks, so it's right up my ally. I agree - the Obass has a growly tone.
That cable is gold!
That cable thing is pretty sweet!
I really want to see this guy just stare into the distance and say "...I had to beat them to death with their own shoes."
Sodacake waynes world :D
The OB-1 just sounds awesome! I want one!
The stories that man has are probably endless
Yup! We definitely found our droids!!! AWESOME!! Wow! 2-thumbs up!
Adrian starts talking technical and I just see his words flying over every non-electronics guru's heads.

"I had to beat them to death with their own shoes".
I need that bass ! And the cable is genus !
That bass rig sounds awesome
Awesome cable idea !
Yes!!! please make the bass,...do a 5 and 6 string HH mahogany.
The bass is killer :)
Definitely go with the bass !
This guy... ... he's brilliant. He's a massively clued up dude. He had you two sitting like "what the fuck". Love it
Love Adrian's flat monotone boring voice and his throw back 70's style dress sense. Amps sound good too.
That cable is really sweet. The bass amp seems nice but maybe too dirty sounding for me. I would have to try one out.
My God, that cable is genius. I need it and I need more gadgets with ball bearings in because they instantly make everything cooler!
Loving that bass totally wild, and I could defiantly use some of those cables, will they be available as balanced 1/4 and Xlr also?
The Bass amp sounds great and the 0 bass is fantastic :)
I. WANT. THAT. CABLE.
seriouslee. that will save me soooo much trouble when running around the practice room.
I want the bass. Wish it had a maple fret board option. Hate to lose that cool neck to a generic custom but gotta have that maple "baank" not the rosewood "boovv". The bass amps are sick, the gain is perfect for me.
That bass is awesome, I'd buy one in white with the Orange pickguard! Please make it!
that cable is mind blowing! :O
hot damn that guitar is just smokin!
I'd love to get the bass. I have an Orange HSS strat which I use for slide work. Quite a rocker!
Looks like I'm buying a new bass amp, that cable is great too!
Like that bass.
awesome bass!
Oh man, if they made that bass in a non - orange colour (even just black or white) id pick up one instantly.
Yes make the bass and the cord coupler! Also I was curious on the bi-amping coming out of the amp. Does it have two outputs one clean and one dirty, or is it all premixed and comes out all in one? Thanks.
Great vid guys. That Bass and amp sound tho!
The O Bass sounds like a good idea. Make it!
I NEED THIS CABLE!!!!!!!!!!
ORANGE BASS YES PLEASE
i can't help but say this, that guy has maybe the most badass cool sounding English accent I've ever heard! Guy needs to be a voice actor... or SOMETHIN.

make the bass!! love that growl
keep the black pick guard and put some white bindings around the body! if binding is too expensive just paint white stripes around !
Killer tone. And I was thinking, why didn't I come up with that cable idea? It had the potential to be industry standard for any sort of long cable I think.
Awesome bass ans cable ! :D
Great sounding amps. Analogue solid state is preferable to digital modeling in most applications I think. Also, you should DEFINITELY make the bass guitar, it looks fantastic!
Digital's fine, but you have to spend a LOT to make it worthwhile. I'd say the minimum is like a Line 6 HD500 and that's over £400 new.
I want one of those bassessssssss!!!!!!!!!!
Oh man that OB-1 is looking awesome, and this is coming from a guitar player that biamps a lot! Any plans for a tolex-case option to also come out?
I don't like how it growls even when clean.. re-bass amp. The cable is a great idea.. however how durable is it if it got tugged on and trod on during a gig?
Love the O bass and the price sounds great and love the crush wow znd the cables would be very handy..
Sounds Great !
I would buy the bass and most def the cable
I just want to know how I can get a job doing this sh!t! And to imagine Ade sitting around playing with diodes and a soldering iron.......blows my mind. Extremely knowledgeable. I love all the details about why the knobs are doing what they're doing......one reason I like Captn and Chappers. Great work guys.
I'm buying the bass this week
MAKE THE BASS, IT SOUNDS AND LOOKS AWESOME!!!!
P.S. Keep the black plate, it does look very good :)
It`s definitely converted me from digital. Now it`s either analogue solid state or valve for me XD
YOU NEED TO MAKE THAT BASS IN SHORT SCALE THEN MY LIFE WILL BE COMPLETE!! also the black pickgurd and orange looks so good. cheers
I love that Orange instrument cable & cable connection , Where can I get one ?
If orange made that bass I would buy it, no question.
I think that a good video idea is a blind fold shoot out for practice amps. Have different practice amps in a room, be blindfolded, and see which Chappers and Lee prefer and if they can name them
The ink blot test is Rorschach, but they all just look like guitars :)
I would buy that bass if the pickguard were different. Perhaps touching the neck. It sounds GREAT, love everything about the looks. I'd probably still buy it and just change it something custom myself
Orange crush sounded great and only £139 for 20 watt !!! May have to look at purchasing that.......
yes make it it's awesome
MAKE THAT BASS!
Yes to the cable. Not so keen on the bass myself. For £250 you can get a pj squire. I know where my money would go.
Crunch? Crush yea noisy b*****d! As is the bass amp! Would definitely consider buying one of them! The swively lead very cool idea! Sometimes leads drive me mental?! And the Bass guitar.. I'm with you Lee Black on Orange for the win! haha
Perimeter Tobacco burst, no pickguard, 5-string, neck humbucker, neck heel truss rod adjustment, 1 3/4 inch nut width. for the O Bass.
You only need 4 strings to rock buddy!
William Mayer
And one finger. Don't forget the finger. It's crucial.
William Mayer You only NEED 4 strings to rock, but you can rock harder with 5 :)
Yes please make it !!!! :D
The o bass looks and sounds awesome. Where can I get one?
+Alfie Strickland www.gear4music.com/Guitar-and-Bass/Orange-O-Bass-Guitar-Orange/1GGG
I'd rather a short scale, but yes, build that.
What's he mean by 4 stages of solid state gain and no diodes? Are these running on like 4 mosfet transistors or something?
I've seen a guy removed the 2 clipping diodes of a boss ds-1 and it sounded fucking better (check it out). Hope you see where i'm going at with that
TThats my next bass
Make that bass short scale with 24 frets!
And chuck that tangless cable dealy in
Make that orange bass has an amazing growl to it XD
Make that bass happen!!!
That guitar has got to be something to do with Oli Brown!
I know he always plays a Vanquish but for some reason I cant find any link that puts them both together.
Wow that actually sounds really good...really vintage sounding...kinda ratty in a good way.
I watched it twice and still missed it, was that Crush the 20RT or 35RT?
Wish we could of heard how this sounds any other style than pick playing though... Damn guitarist
Rorschach was his name, the psychologist with the ink blots....
OB-1? Yes, please.
I want that bass, exactly the way it is. No white pickguard. Make a short scale and they will come
i want that bass
Lee. I worship You!!! Can I have a free Epiphone Honeyburst Plustop?
I mean, at least you're not asking for a $10000 Les Paul like most people do
Fuck off and get a job...
DO IT FULL SCALE FUCK YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
