Having to unplug the microwave for time changes twice a year is frustrating. This is a design flaw that definitely should be rectified. The clock also gains time over several months so you can end up pulling this awkward, bulky machine out of its' kitchen cabinet more than twice a year.

I'm getting this oven soon so I read through the manual. One thing I read that I like is that if you don't want the oven to draw vampire (standby) power, you can just not set the clock.
What do you mean by "not draw stand by power". when i set my clock after a few days the time no longer displays. does this mean its not drawing power? Please help
@@daveoh757 Sorry it took me two years to reply. Most microwave ovens, the clock displays 00:00 if you don't set it. And in many ovens, it blinks 00:00 if you don't set the clock. Either of those, and it is drawing power. Maybe yours is different, and it is not using power either. BTW, now having used this oven for two years, I like the easy-clean interior a lot, but it is annoying it doesn't have stage cooking, something my 17 year old Panasonic "Genius" microwave had.. If you don't know what stage cooking is, you won't miss it. If you want to know, google it.

Worst microwave I have ever bought, very uneven cooking, placement of the turntable is extremely imprecise and difficult, chimes are far worse than the old peeps. Greatly regret the purchase.
We bought this microwave a few months ago. Being someone who always uses the kitchen timer, I find this specific feature incredibly frustrating (maybe more of an annoyance) that I have to open the door to use it, clear it etc. I may find this feature more frustrating than some because our counter space is small and limited; so having to move (anything) out of the way when I’m trying to cook in an already crowded space, just to swing open the door for the timer can be a pain. Honestly for this reason alone I wish I could return it. Side note: My husband says “you don’t know what you’re talking about, the damn thing is great 😁” Side side note: He eats the food, he doesn’t prepare it 😂 Some good features: Sleek look Heats nicely Nice melody Budget friendly

F-3 error code popped up and is appearing on the display. How do you fix this. Continues every time use. Microwave is only 3 month old and LG customer service just gives me the run around with finally saying email me with refund never happens. Check credit card and nothing. Call back and start over again from step 1. I guess there is no log is kept of the previous conversation?
the clock didn't display for me when I plugged it in. The rest of the features are the most un-user friendly I've ever used on an appliance. Very disappointed with my purchase. If I I had purchased it from a store and not Amazon I would return it.

Sometimes got 3 things cooking. Keeping a timer on 2 of them allows me to focus on the third. 1st timer in on the stove, 2nd timer is on the microwave is very convenient.

There is a You Tube video on how to do it. It is something like the top and bottom left buttons held down until the display shows OFF.
