Merry post Christmas. Glad the flight went well and you made it back to your Mum and Dads. Lovely to see the coast under sunny skies. When my husband and I left Scotland in the mid 1980s my Mum (who was a widow) moved down to Ellington, Northumberland to be closer to her brother. I remember her writing about finding a delicious bread made by Warburton’s (wasn’t available in Scotland at that time). And on my first trip back to see her in England I got to taste Warburton’s bread. Have to say it was very tasty so I bet the teacakes are delicious.
The teacakes are the best I always take some home too for Jason. Northumberland is a lovely place, my brother lives up there and there is some gorgeous beaches especially when the weather is like it was on Christmas Day! I hope you had a lovely Christmas xx
I’m glad you had a nice Christmas, despite being apart! I think most of your followers enjoy seeing the difference Florida is but since I live here too,‘I’m enjoying seeing your home there for a change! I think a pantomime is kind of like what we’d just call a play here?
It’s nice to show different places isn’t it, especially when the weather has been so bright and sunny. I’ll hopefully show a few different places around here on next weeks vlog. Yes the pantomime is just like a play yes, with a few cheesy touches that are in all of them, the lead woman is always played by a man for instance 😂 not sure why!!! Merry Christmas x
I know how you feel , I’m from a military background, can’t tell you how many Christmas’s I’ve spent apart from my husband! First Christmas I spent on my own as my parents were in Germany at my sisters and I was on leave ( I was in the wrac) I looked after their dog and Keith was on active service at the time ! It’s not pleasant but you cope!
Ah I can imagine, there is so many jobs in the world where people have to spend occasions apart and a lot of people don’t understand but the military must be one of the worst!! Hope you had a lovely Christmas xx

Hopefully it’s brightening up in the next few days, but colder. I can cope with that if we see a bit of sunshine. I hope the sun continues to shine in the north east for the rest of your stay xx

But thank God for parents and other family members. I live 5 minutes from Manchester airport. It's awful. Everyone complains about it. Hope you have an amazing New Year. Lovely vlog as ever. Definitely misty over here 🇬🇧 Took the plunge and booked Florida for next Autumn, not been since 1999 when I was 16 and is still the happiest memories so can’t wait to relive it - at 41 😆 Happy new year to you and the family.
For future reference there’s a new multi story car park at Manchester T2, think it’s called multistory west, you can park on level 0 for picking people up from arrivals. You can stay a maximum of 2 hours, and they can just walk over to the terminal to meet you ❤
I think that’s the one we were in, they have changed it all 🤷🏼♀️ my dad said he couldn’t find the entrance to the new signposted short stay along with about 30 other cars and they all agreed to just leave the car 😂 it was chaos when we got back to the car as you could see everyone was having the same problem! X

I work all day 6:30am to 11pm every Christmas Day and Thanksgiving Day (I work in a hospital), so I know how hard it can be apart from family
