This video was so relatable for me, So I am basically a Muslim and as a child (from age of 4) I use to go in madarsa, every time, if you don't follow the authority figure, let it be teachers, they used to beat the _ out of me and my fellow classmates. And whenever I have the question of why, when, how, they are always silent. After getting fed up from all these things, I left madarsa at my age 10 and went into a school. I am in 12th now with science stream.
Every parent should watch this. As you rightly said "Teaching what to think as opposed to HOW to think" is the key factor. I have two children and I receive hell from seniors in the family for raising them without religion.
Encourage your children to ask questions. Question about anything including science and religion. Science and Religion both seek to answer queries on nature of our existence and amazing universe. While science uses a reductionist approach, to bring everything to chemical without any evidence by scientists producing life from chemical reactions. Hinduism teaches that we are eternal souls and we are all eternal parts of Lord Krishna, currently encaged in a body. We were all with God in His kingdom once loving and serving Him. However, by envying God and wanting to be a separate independent enjoyer, we leave God out of our own voluntary free will. And out original father being kind while allowing us to be like God (which we all are trying to be by competition) by providing facilities for sustenance and enjoyment also has created concomitant suffering - disease and death of our bodies, so we get an impetus to seek Him and go back to Him to our original home, Kingdom of Krishna. Please read "Bhagavad Gita As It Is" by Swami Prabhupada to know what is spirituality. You may also like to read "The Science of Self Realization" book by Swami Prabhupada, for clarity on any doubts you may have have about spirituality.
Religion is a belief in God, not a Truth by it's own measured definition under God. Yet still, many are having experiences across the world like I have. God Is Real, Jesus Is Real, the Way Is Real ~ A few years ago I repented to God then Prayed for help, "I was until then an Atheist." I then had a dream of Jesus coming before God and he spoke of the Tabernacle in Perfect context, "A word I didn't know existed.", and what I felt from Jesus when I Held him was unlike Anything I've Ever felt before - A Lifetime of Love Every Second - It brought me to Sobbing and it changed my life, Forever. I've had Many experiences since, "Several witnessed". A voice Spoke Clearly into my ear, "Go Visit Your Father Today.", hours before he passed. When I prayed if I could leave this world my body spoke a word Without My Permission I Never Heard Before, "Malarkey". Hours before a major surgery a Bright orb of light Passed across my face. God and Jesus ARE real! Truly Love God & Everyone! I believe Prayer, Following God's laws & Love is the answer, and through that, Truly becoming Humble, Merciful, Welcoming, Giving, Gentle, Respectful, Compassionate, Patient, Kind and Forgiving, To All.
I can relate to this video very much . I am in 11th (medical).I am only one who doesn’t believe in god in family. Their superstitions just kills me . I wonder everytime are we living in 21 century . They say what are you gonna do in life without god and god will break you and ruin your future.
Bro...i know your status, soon after sometime you will see that there should be some supreme power who controls everything. I also don't like superstitions but some superstition is good. You are young now, without any practical experience. Your time will also come
@@mastermindgkclassesYes, there maybe a Supreme power controlling us but they won't force us to follow such futile superstitions... The books like Bhagvad Gita can be a life changer for many but we can't say it is from the god... Just keep religion as religion as whenever it is publicized it had created fights
The solution to unanswered questions is more science not religion.when faced with uncertainties or gaps in knowledge, the scientific method, with emphasis on observation, experimentation, and evidence-based reasoning, is a more reliable and systematic approach to acquiring understanding. Science is for the brave and explorers.
people often have this misconception about religion. religion, particularly the reformist ones (abrahamic religions, zoroastrianism, indic religions apart from hinduism, etc). were used by society to unite and govern themselves during pre-liberal times. a time when scientific temperament, scientific approach and logical thought process were in their infancy. sure, mathematics and scientific developments were made, but these scientists still used to attribute both their findings and the unexplained, to the almighty (or various almighties). i believe, today, we have made strides in both scientific temperament and social morality, both. we do not need religion to explain the unexplained, nor do we need religion to tell us right from wrong.
@@V-for-Vendetta01 Please explain what is life as per science? The fact that you are a spirit soul and eternal fragmental part of Lord Krishna, and you have been given a body by Krishna for fulfilling your desires since you left the Krishna's kingdom to be like God, and enjoy independent of God, and you will keep coming back into this world into another mother's womb, repeatedly in a cycle and enjoy and suffer temporary pleasures and pains until you follow a Yoga process as enunciated in Bhagavad Gita, to go back to Him, should immediately swing into action of exploring God, our creator and maintainer who loves us. Please read Bhagavad Gita and follow it to make your life sublime and follow a Yoga process of reconnecting with Lord Krishna such as Bhakti Yoga, to go back to Lord Krishna
@@thegodlogic3844 I don't care for a book that says that performing your duty assigned to you on basis of your Varna is your "dharma". Hinduism is the worst of the bunch. Other religions at least promise equality among every man.
@@V-for-Vendetta01 nah no religion promises equality atleast from within or for person from other religion . Whether Christianity, Islam none have equality. No religion can possibly promise equality wether on caste/class based , gender based and for other religions .Religions nowadays are source of hatred , bloodshed , pseudoscience as they have always been. After start of religion there is only a small possibility that the followers will hold the basics and not indulge in bloodshed in name of religious superiority . But there's no proof of his existence again due to lack pf evidence u can't deny his existence (The character and nature of god is still not known, who knows maybe nature itself is god or whatever) but in my last comment I didn’t talked about proving anything I was just hoping that he Don't hurt religious sentiments ( forceful or videos without concrete reasons). I hope u understood that,, just there’s no evidence or even those being ridiculous doesn’t give us the right to bunk on them (if they are not harming anybody)

3:30 I love your stack analogy because as a former Christian, I was taught from the Bible that our belief in Jesus was our foundation, our rock. That Christ is the "cornerstone" that holds everything in place. And like you said, when that foundation crumbles/cornerstone is removed, everything built on it comes crashing down. There's a lot of work in rebuilding, but it's worth it!
In school, a friend of mine was telling us how he can't eat meat since it's the days of Ganesh festival. I asked him why and he said his parents told him this. I asked him to ask his parents why they said so. Next day he came to me and told me that he just got slapped by his mother for asking that question.
See ....eating meat on any other day is just bad....when u have great sources of nutrition in vegetables then why kill animals for our self greed...that's the simple thing .....so basically our Hindu religion don't teach to be greedy and harm animals just for our selfish moto
This is very relatable to me too, my parents are orthodox hindus and I am in class 12th pcm. They have always told me about god and the millions of stories about the thousands of of gods in hinduism. One thing that my mother also always instilled in me was critical thinking and that helped me more than anything. Although everyone around me believed wholeheartedly in god, and I would too, when I was a child I would cry in the washroom praying to god when something bad happened, asking the sky for help instead of myself, I quickly realised the god delusion. At an age of 11 or 12 when I didn't even know that a world like atheism existed, I also don't remember exactly when I stopped believing in god. All I know is that a little bit of critical thinking saved me from making dumb irrational decisions in my life based on things in the sky which I am very grateful for.
I used to be very critical about anything and could sense the bullsh!t in those holy books. However, I used to avoid asking any questions ageinst my religion in my mind, as it felt like I was committing thought crime! It may sound weird, but comedy helped me overcome the fear of thinking against religion, I want to give credit to comedians like George Carlin, Ricky Gervais, bill burr, and Louis CK
Some of them could be true. Know that rhe boggest events of today will bw rumours in a thousand years. The whole point is to learn from the History, real or not.
I developed skeptical mindset during my mid-teen age but I loved hearing mythical folkore and lore from my grandmother,I grew hearing these stories so I don't oppose it. Those folkore/lore also contains moral teachings and life lessons. It shaped my childhood.
But don't let it become a trap of false belief system. We can appreciate the knowledge, and the stories, without still believing it to be actually true.
Reading all yours comment I guess my parents won at parenting. Being born in Buddhist family, I never believed in such thoughts and just hated why was it compulsory to study about a specific religion in NCERT Hindi textbooks. Never visiting any temple is my family's biggest flex.
Science may or may not be dope. But spirituality is bliss! As what science is studying day in and day out is the wonderful Universe created by God. If this universe is so amazing, how amazing would be its creator! So, intelligent people are after the person behind the universe (God) and they have all the bliss! Whereas the exploratory souls who are studying the creation of God, are indeed glorifying and praising Him in an indirect way. Read "Bhagavad Gita As It Is" book by Swami Prabhupada to learn the person behind this amazing Universe and connect with Him through Bhakti Yoga and bliss is yours.

Look for Voyager's picture of Earth, also nicknamed the Pale Blue Dot. To paraphrase Carl Sagan's quote on the Pale Blue Dot: "Thousands of conflicting confident religions stranded on a random pale blue dot in a random galaxy", one galaxy among incomprehensibly more galaxies than there are particles of sand on this blue dot. Now imagine Brahma, Yahweh or whoever just decided one day to give knowledge of "reality" to the people on this blue dot, that too to only some people in some corner of that dot, not all. Even if you don't believe in theism, hindu/christian/etc atheism is as non-sensical as theism. One faith will say earth is the center of universe, another will say it's also flat, another will say it's a flat forest on top of a giant tortoise, yet another will claim there is a karma and consequences of committing sins, another will talk of rebirth; various conflicting beliefs on celestial machinations with or without god/s. Ergo none of those can be true.

Please be skeptical about both science and religion and enquire truth using your intelligence. You need to answer below questions about our existence and answers from science or religion or any other source 1) Who has created a facility for male and female uniting and creating a baby which you were when you were born in this life 2) Who has created your wonderful body by design - your eyes, no man-made camera can match, your ears, any man-made hearing aid can match, your brain no man-made memory chip can match or your vital organs which are sustaining you so that you can live and pursue your desires, (who is this benefactor of yours, who loves you?) 3. Who has given you food, water, air for sustenance? - Scientists? Your parents? 3. Where were you before your current birth? 4. Where you will be after death? 5. Why you enjoy - relationships, possessions, power, family, beautiful opposite sex, popularity? Why are you pursuing happiness? 6. Why experience love, hatred, pride, envy, anger etc 7. Why you have disease and death - even you do not want them?

This is hilarious. Atheism is itself a religion, atheists do everything that’s considered bad about religion. Soviets were the best example of this, killing people, persecuting people, spreading unscientific things, etc they did all that under atheism. In lack of religion, atheists ALWAYS clutch to some other ideology, yesterday it was communism, today it’s wokeism
Brainwashing and indoctrination are inevitable with children. However we can limit its negative affects by teaching kids how to think and learn to hold nuanced discussions. We could "indoctrinate" kids in a way that doesn't resort to authority , abuse and fear which religions tend to exploit.
Although My Scientific Temparent was very low, being not from a science background But The things u mentioned can be think rationally by others too... Those all blind people in the name of god is giving profits to the liabilities of the country... Yes! Those all Preachers are liability... Even the parents are good preachers... and yes, for the values we must taught children about the ethics and moral to be followed and morever monitored (Because even after teaching it, there is minimal effect on the acts) You are the reason a man can think rationally about the world and can have own opinions We have created a ruckus by creating religions
When science says that you are a system of chemical reactions, where does the ethics and moral come about. Do chemicals have ethics and morals? Hindu Religion teaches reasonably that 1. You are an eternal non-material soul and you have been endowed with a body for facilitating fulfillment of your desires which you evidentially are doing on a daily basis 2. You are endowed with five knowledge acquiring senses Jnanendriyas) - eyes (seeing), ears (hearing), nose (smelling), mouth (tasting), and skin(touching) which you are evidentially using on a daily basis 4. You are endowed with you five working senses (Karmendriya), feet (pada) move, the hands (pani) grasp and hold, the rectum (payu) eliminates, the genitals (upastha) procreate and the mouth (vak) speaks 5. You are endowed with vital organs - hearts, kidneys, brains, liver, nervous system etc, which do vital functions by design so that you are sustained 6. You have not endowed yourself with your body evidentially, nor Scientists have endowed you with your body nor your parents have designed your body, because they do not have complete knowledge about your body as we all came out of our respective mother's womb. Scientists are trying to research about the body - a complex system which already exists without their interference or say 7. You have not created the food, air and water that nourish and sustain your body, it has been arranged for you by someone external you 8. So, the endower/designer of our body is distinct from us and this person loves us because he is facilitating the fulfilment of our desires. Much like our parents are our secondary fulfiller of desires as they provision things for us and shower their love for us 9. So, the spiritualists call this endower, our benefactor, who loves us as God. 10. And God our benefactor is invisible to our eyes and need to be searched for by research much like scientists do research. However the research methodology to seek and find our benefactor and lover (God) is through spiritual practice as has been proven to be effective by earlier spiritual practitioners Please read "Bhagavad Gita As It Is" book by Swami Prabhupada, to get a comprehensive logical view of the nature of reality and universe and yourself in relationship to it.
I am atheist since 10th Because of the my habit of asking question; there were many questions unanswered and things happened in my life made me atheist
I left religion as the propaganda it was , and found that the real religion is to erase the ignorance resting in me , actually everything that I pick as the reason for a thing to be true from my perspective, I came to know that, the very base of that perspective is false , the very foundation is false , something trivial , and in the end there's nothing existing to make the belief true which I was expecting to be . And there are umpteen types of beliefs I have been holding so close to me, and thinking why My life was f***ed up ? Probe deep into your deep seated beliefs , my friends, You will find a great relief, and a kind of enthralling adventure in the exploration, This process will reveal you to yourself, Kindly beware , if you have a weak heart 🎉. You're good to begin , from now .
I object the whole point in this video... People should not ask why.. Why is more of a philosophical question... By science, we should ask, how... Instill and inculcate the habit of asking 'how'
I don't think the problem is that severe or new generation is that susceptible to pseudoscience ( ones in middle class or above and urban ones mostly) , baba ramdev is only considered by older generations and their target market is elderly, aside from many muslim households, most young people in middle or upper class are much less religious and alll that "indoctrination" gradually wears off in teenage to adulthood , only religious young people i met are mostly rural to semi rural areas, nowadays religion is more of a go to for middle aged people in midlife crisis rather than young people, Also from my observation, you cannot teach anyone critical thinking
Hey Pranav! All your videos make such good points and you call out all the misleading information, especially in Hinduism (across your channel) and Christianity (in this video). I feel like a lot of people also need to have their eyes opened to all the myths and so-called “facts” from Islam and Christianity.

You should read about Nyaya and Sankhya ( school of thoughts ) completely Atheist Without any God. And these are still part of Dharam. In Bharat science and Dharma never had conflict. ( Dharma is not Religion) All religions are not the same. All religions are equal. They are equal in the eyes of Law. So don't compare.
There is definitely a role for religion in this world. As humans trying to understand the world and reality that we exist in, religion is a good first step. It's when the religion becomes dogmatic that the whole thing falls apart. It is when children are told that God will punish them or reward them for their actions, or fulfill their desires for obedience, that religion falters. I believe that some indoctrination in the form of stories, mythologies, participating in rituals, is inevitable as part of a religious following, but this should necessarily lead to a self guided search at some point, not perpetual subjugation to a purportedly divine being

I agree on the critical thinking part, but we don't really know if the universe was IN FACT made by big bang or not. If a theory is popular it doesn't mean that it's necessarily correct. The facts about origin of the universe are still debated today in science. Likewise, the religions may be wrong too. I'm saying, until we have a "Theory of everything" that can explain each and every natural phenomenon and laws that govern the universe with no doubts (the string theory is one such attempt), we can't entirely disprove that God doesn't exist. At this point i'm so confused myself I don't know what to believe
Just keep a open mind and read many books+ learn from experiences. Think with logic. Say 'I don't know' if you don't. Ignorance is not a sin. But don't let others dictate what you think.
Society created God to deal with morals (and morals are subjective) and a coping mechanism for death because it sucks when people die. You don't get to see them anymore and that's it. People didn't like this, and went well, "what if we can see them in the stars?" and so that's kinda the whole idea of religion and whatnot. Then people capitalized on it and made it more a business then a nice thing to believe. I personally don't believe in a god and I should have the right to do so. As well as people practicing religion that is their choice as long as they don't put it on other people or cause harm to people.
It is so pathetic that the day it was uploaded, we all watching this video will surely die someday in future, while still there being this BS called 'religion'.. and where globally this bs is growing recently, very saddening. But we are to make the change in our time of being alive, cheers to every subscriber of this wonderful guy Pranav. Keep growing and going!
Why are you considering religion as BS? It is very possible that there are some evidences that made people believe in religions, or at least some distorted facts. In any case, it is okay to have belief in something which is not necessarily disproven by science. Of course, to believe stories that contradict known facts is obviously foolish.
Your videos are always a treat to watch would love to watch a detailed analysis how babas like dhiredendra shastri form a cult starting from ground 0. I know it is difficult and research takes a lot of time but exposing something which has delusional effect on so many people would truly be worth.
Ask a highly influenced Atheist: How and why did you come to this earth and where will you go after death? Can science make someone immortal? Why was this universe created?
Why was the universe created? That's a very absurd question, because using the word created preassumes a creation which preassumes a created. And reason is human made quality which cannot be asserted towards a non human thing i.e universe
@@lookintoit4537 osho also said similar thing, osho said: Nietzsche did great service to humanity by saying god is dead but didn't give anything just take away the false hope" buddha give the world meditation which is the solution, to fill this void of meaning through bliss and enlightenment.in this point questioner mind ego dropped and merge with universal consciousness.
My advice to youth (aged 12 to 40 years). Ask questions, think critically, Explore the world, Apply Logic, and Reflect on nature within you and Nature Outside of you. You will realise the truth. Human beings are created to believe and follow a higher power. If you don't believe/follow God then you will end up following something else like your desire, lust, Money, Friends, your parents..etc. Either you live a life based on God's commandment or live a trial-and-error life. Based on your above decision you will realise how peaceful or how miserable your life is..Ask these questions to yourself. 1. Who created you and what is the purpose of your life? 2. What will happen after you die. 3. Are Good deeds and Evil deeds the same? Do you get rewards for doing good deeds? 4. Are you accountable for your deeds.. if not then what is the benefit of doing good deeds?
I can so much relate to this video and many older videos of science is dope very well . I have also lived (& still living) in a superstitious family for my whole life till now (I m 22). I had a similar bigoted , extremist and superstitious mind . I had the worldview of reality (ie thiestic ) similar to that of my family. Despite having a logical mind , i had such thoughts because logic of creationism is ingrained very deeply into the minds of kids born in religious families and then all superstition , stories of ghosts and witches, bigotry , pseudoscience , misinterpretation of serious spiritual and philosophical scriptures , misunderstanding of society , communal hatred etc. follows. My own curiosity , want to know things helped - help in this matter didn't come from anyone in my family , school or friends. It is very important for any superstitious person to be exposed to reality from the words of a fine philosopher and speaker (who can explain the chronology of making of your religious mind , remind u of your forgotten childhood , make u feel how stupid it is to assume creation and breakdown your stupidity for u) who can burst that bubble of stupidity , ignorance and false pride otherwise one can be trapped into it for their life. Once the bubble was burst , curious nature of my mind lead to one thing/person from other & i knew the reality as it has always been , not what it was told by my family . There is no creator, there is no god . There is nothing mystical about life on earth. It is a well understood biological and chemical process with function of time. Our complex bodies were not designed by any creator but they are product of a very long period of evolution. Creation of universe , creation of earth , habitabilty of earth , beginning of life , advent of humans - all can't be explained by one word answer - Supernatural God or a Well structured department of many gods . Nothing was planned nowhere , there was no one to plan - it all happened on its own. Everything was a coincidence - it is entirely possible that any of those events whether birth of cosmos or human life may never have happened. But they did and here we are. Answer to everything was based on logics of creationism which were just fallacies , there was no intelligent logic in believing in a creator/god. It seemed very logical then but now i know false logic and fallacies better than most. It really was my renaissance. I had a worldview which i was supposed to have if i were born into a modern , well-read , learned family with open minds and curiosity. It is very frustrating to continue live with people of same mind after one himself has clearity. I know that they will never have their renaissance for i understood their bigotry very well and i know it takes a lot of intellectual exercise and upheavel in all circles of mind to come out of it. I know it will never be possible for them for they have lost their curious nature completely and they know it all. It is frustrating but i continue the act of believer to not look like a rebel but i also register my disinterest many times (not repetitively and always because then the bunch of nasty idiots might feel offended). I can only try to make my disinterest look normal as much as possible but i can never tell them completely what i think of them and their understanding about everything. Trying to reform and change their thoughts out of compassion is a very bad and dangerous idea because that means idiots will know what i think and then that nasty name calling and what not will happen. Having understood my parents, siblings , cousins and the bloody whole extended family, the very expectation of them understanding me is far fetched, stupid, tiring, worthless and dangerous because once they know me i will loose my shield forever.
Don't just parrot padguru one liners without thinking, or else you stand to get ridiculed like him. So do you mean Hindus don't have any beliefs? None at all?

Religion is essential for children so that they have some fear of bad deeds. Adults can not always take care of their activities, so things like “God is always watching you and punish you if you do bad deeds” are effective in North India. Upon adolescent and adulthood, they gradually learn about science, if the kid is studious. Otherwise they should remain blinded by religious dogmas. Imagine, the wealth Jains and baniya begin eating meat! Carbon footprint of India will increase steeply. Religion is important to control ignorant people.

I am a religious person, and the question is, how do you conclude that a religious person is not skeptical about the world? I mean, we do accept that there are small organisms called bacteria and viruses, radiation, and whatnot. The only difference we have, I think, is the question of existence. Otherwise, like atheism, it is a worldview, except for one thing: religious people believe in eternal life, which can't be proven wrong using any scientific tools. So, if a person believes in a particular religion and expects an eternal life, they behave in a certain manner, and otherwise, they can live as they want. I mean, if not drinking alcohol is not causing them any harm, then why would they question it? What is the use of being skeptical there?
@@lukadoncic9355 i am saying that there is NO scientific evidence for any eternal life(as of now), yet can be proven once you accept to the fundamental principles of that particular religion. for example, prophecies about future and miracles.

In this channel, you're discussing a topic, namely, science, which you have a strong grasp of. I support your expertise in this area. However, when you delve into another topic, such as religion in relation to science, your understanding appears to be lacking. This lack of understanding is not justified. This is nonsensical. I propose arranging a debate with a well-known scholar to see how long you can sustain with your arguments. It's worth noting that you're also generating income under the guise of discussing religion, which, in essence, seems to be a similar endeavor but in a more concealed manner. My suggestion is to focus on educating people about science, which could potentially lead them to question or leave their religious beliefs. Isn't it as straightforward as that?
Unfortunately, we are still far to make this possible in a world where parents are already brainwashed. I belong to a hindu family and I respect Hindu culture but whenever I hear superstitions or any illogical stuff, I see it as something that brings a bad name to my religion. I believe in religion because they promote moral values. But at the same time, knowledge of science must be supported against superstitions.

A few years ago I repented to God then Prayed for help, "I was until then an Atheist."
I then had a dream of Jesus coming before God and he spoke of the Tabernacle in Perfect context, "A word I didn't know existed.", and what I felt from Jesus when I Held him was unlike Anything I've Ever felt before - A Lifetime of Love Every Second - It brought me to Sobbing and it changed my life, Forever.

It may sound weird, but comedy helped me overcome the fear of thinking against religion, I want to give credit to comedians like George Carlin, Ricky Gervais, bill burr, and Louis CK
same happened to me
I asked my mom if she thinks if the stories in the bible are real and she told me "Yes." It blows my mind that people can think that way.
Some of them could be true. Know that rhe boggest events of today will bw rumours in a thousand years.
The whole point is to learn from the History, real or not.
Rather than saying "I dont know" i prefer to tell my daughter "lets find out why". I am educated too then.
I developed skeptical mindset during my mid-teen age but I loved hearing mythical folkore and lore from my grandmother,I grew hearing these stories so I don't oppose it. Those folkore/lore also contains moral teachings and life lessons. It shaped my childhood.
underrated comment.
But don't let it become a trap of false belief system. We can appreciate the knowledge, and the stories, without still believing it to be actually true.

Good one 👌👍
Science is Dope , Science is Hope ❄

Brainwashing and indoctrination are inevitable with children.
However we can limit its negative affects by teaching kids how to think and learn to hold nuanced discussions. We could "indoctrinate" kids in a way that doesn't resort to authority , abuse and fear which religions tend to exploit.
Although My Scientific Temparent was very low, being not from a science background
But The things u mentioned can be think rationally by others too...
Those all blind people in the name of god is giving profits to the liabilities of the country... Yes! Those all Preachers are liability... Even the parents are good preachers... and yes, for the values we must taught children about the ethics and moral to be followed and morever monitored (Because even after teaching it, there is minimal effect on the acts)
You are the reason a man can think rationally about the world and can have own opinions
We have created a ruckus by creating religions
When science says that you are a system of chemical reactions, where does the ethics and moral come about. Do chemicals have ethics and morals?
Hindu Religion teaches reasonably that
1. You are an eternal non-material soul and you have been endowed with a body for facilitating fulfillment of your desires which you evidentially are doing on a daily basis
2. You are endowed with five knowledge acquiring senses Jnanendriyas) - eyes (seeing), ears (hearing), nose (smelling), mouth (tasting), and skin(touching) which you are evidentially using on a daily basis
4. You are endowed with you five working senses (Karmendriya), feet (pada) move, the hands (pani) grasp and hold, the rectum (payu) eliminates, the genitals (upastha) procreate and the mouth (vak) speaks
5. You are endowed with vital organs - hearts, kidneys, brains, liver, nervous system etc, which do vital functions by design so that you are sustained
6. You have not endowed yourself with your body evidentially, nor Scientists have endowed you with your body nor your parents have designed your body, because they do not have complete knowledge about your body as we all came out of our respective mother's womb. Scientists are trying to research about the body - a complex system which already exists without their interference or say
7. You have not created the food, air and water that nourish and sustain your body, it has been arranged for you by someone external you
8. So, the endower/designer of our body is distinct from us and this person loves us because he is facilitating the fulfilment of our desires. Much like our parents are our secondary fulfiller of desires as they provision things for us and shower their love for us
9. So, the spiritualists call this endower, our benefactor, who loves us as God.
10. And God our benefactor is invisible to our eyes and need to be searched for by research much like scientists do research. However the research methodology to seek and find our benefactor and lover (God) is through spiritual practice as has been proven to be effective by earlier spiritual practitioners

I don't think the problem is that severe or new generation is that susceptible to pseudoscience ( ones in middle class or above and urban ones mostly) , baba ramdev is only considered by older generations and their target market is elderly, aside from many muslim households, most young people in middle or upper class are much less religious and alll that "indoctrination" gradually wears off in teenage to adulthood , only religious young people i met are mostly rural to semi rural areas, nowadays religion is more of a go to for middle aged people in midlife crisis rather than young people,

In Bharat science and Dharma never had conflict. ( Dharma is not Religion)
All religions are not the same.

And in Quran you have Quran 21:30, which states: "Have those who disbelieved not considered that the heavens and the earth were a joined entity, and We separated them and made from water every living thing? Then will they not believe?"
Quran 51:47 states: "And the heaven We constructed with strength, and indeed, We are [its] expander." This verse is often cited to illustrate the power and design of the universe as evidence of a divine Creator.
1.Embryology: Quran 23:12-14 describes the stages of fetal development, which some interpret as being consistent with modern embryological knowledge.
2.Mountains as Pegs: Quran 78:6-7 refers to mountains as pegs, anchoring the Earth's crust, which correlates with the modern understanding of tectonic plates and their role in stabilizing the Earth's surface.
3.Expanding Universe: Quran 51:47 mentions that "We have built the heaven with might, and We it is who make the vast extent (thereof)." Some interpret this as a reference to the expanding universe, which aligns with modern cosmological theories

This skill can be learned in adult life as well.
I feel more critical now than before
Please expose PROJECT SHIVOHAM

There is a video put forth by soch in his youtube channel. He mentioned of an Indian American acting student who came here to experiment as to how much people believe Godmen and their words. He dressed as a Godman and started blabbering words. Few months down the lane many praised him, said he is God sent man and stuff. All thanks to the placebo affect.

Wow! Interesting, the fascination for God or Godmen will continue, until science can show that there is no God, or that Chimpanzee is giving birth to a human baby or chemical reactions can produce lives.

Pseudoscientist spotted
What's is the evidence for an eternal life? Burden of proof is on the claim that there is a life after death. Not the other way around

Hi Pranav, your videos are really good. I think we should discuss on J.Krishnamurti’s teachings which are more relevant in the present world
In this channel, you're discussing a topic, namely, science, which you have a strong grasp of.
Best video…should reach to be parents and millennial generation
Unfortunately, we are still far to make this possible in a world where parents are already brainwashed.
I belong to a hindu family and I respect Hindu culture but whenever I hear superstitions or any illogical stuff, I see it as something that brings a bad name to my religion. I believe in religion because they promote moral values. But at the same time, knowledge of science must be supported against superstitions.
One of the best video i seen ever on RUclips ❤
