NEA Big Read: Meet Tobias Wolff

One of the nation's pre-eminent authors, Wolff may have invented the contemporary memoir with his 1989 This Boy's Life and In his 1994 In Pharaoh's Army: Memories of the Lost War. He is also the author of two novels and several collections of short stories, and has guided a generation of younger writers as a teacher.
