I truly can’t believe the audacity of some people! How are YOU offended about HER wedding, HER friends, and HER family? How does anything this woman does affect you negatively? And because YOU have black friends as a biracial person, it means she has to as well? Seriously! It’s so easy to move on and not consume someone’s content if you don’t like it. Why do people feel the need to spread their negativity and misery around? Honey, do YOU! That was a beautiful wedding and you looked amazing! If YOU’RE happy and content with YOUR life, that’s ALL that matters! Let everything else slide off like water on feathers! God bless you and your loved ones!

Hey Angel, I’m actually shocked to see some of these hurtful and condescending comments…unfortunately people just can’t be happy with their own lives and need to project whatever is going on in their minds because they lack the capacity to see how inappropriate that is. It’s sad and unbelievable how much insecurity and hatred people have that they feel the need to try to bring such a beautiful person and wedding day down. Tbh, It must be absolutely miserable to live like that. When they can’t care to see or be happy for a person who is surrounded by absolute love is a real shame!

It is a disconnect but it may not be on purpose. Sometimes it’s how you are raised. For example I’m Puerto Rican and Black. Mom black and dad Puerto Rican. My mom abandoned us when I was a little boy and my dad raised me. He was U.S. Army and everywhere we moved was 90% white so I grew up liking white girls and white friends. Not that I didn’t like my Black people but I just didn’t know them or my black side for that matter. I am married as of 15 years to a Black beautiful queen now as I became a man but it took time for me to feel comfortable with that. So yes it is a disconnect but not always on purpose.
The “disconnect” is that I live in a different country than my entire black side of the family. I am very close with them however my aunt became very Ill and we all agreed family should stay close to her rather than travelling to come to the wedding ….. your experience is your own and not universal

Your so disconnected that you disagreeing with someone that was trying to help other that’s disagree with you understand that it’s not always on purpose. In your case since you can’t even comprehend what I was saying was actually in favor of you shows that you are DISCONNECTED from black people. You can’t even understand a black person when they are siding with you. Good luck with your new WHITE FAMILY. Nice, but as a person of color …couldn’t help but notice a lack there of…except for the bride & her dad.I’m a born & bred ny puertorican, my boyfriend is Jewish, and I’m happy for the mix of friends ..love diversity.
You make it sound like I chose my friends based on skin Color . Like I don’t “love diversity” . My Jamaican side of the family weren’t able to attend and my closest friends happen to be mostly white after attending mostly white schools and growing up in mostly white neighbourhoods.… it’s not that deep
