We just had our national elections recently.
There was this lone woman presidential candidate who inspired everybody, from the youth to the professional adult in her so-called "pink movement". A movement that was inspired from acts of volunteerism and compassion. The future is bright, sadly she is losing right now in the electoral returns and the winning candidate is the son of the former president-turned-dictator Marcos Sr.
This is not all about election but a testament on how our humble, third-world country, The Philippines, experienced love for a moment.
